'When the going gets tough, the tough get going!'

Good Morning or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Last night for dinner(You can refer to yesterday's post if you wish), we had the 'leftover' steak (steak sandwiches)and they were so good! We are going to buy the large Costco steak again; and when it marinades for several hours, it is so tid tender; with added bit seasonings, it was, indeed a tidbitz treat!

We watched the Hockey Game between the Ducks (Anaheim) and the Canucks (Vancouver); and what a close game! We sat on the edge of our seats; there was never a dull bittidz moment! So for those of you, who are avid hockey fans, am sure you can relate! Alan poured me a 'rum and coke'; and that helped me through the game! LOL!

As mentioned in yesterday's post, we had a lot of 'stuff' happening; so the 'rum and coke' was just perfect! LOL!

Tidbit - 'When the going gets tough, the tough get going!' Dr. Robert Schuller on 'Hour of Power', shares that positive bittid a lot; and he is absolutely right!

Bittid - 'I feel He is Guiding us through this 'storm'; and is the Answer to our Prayers!'. I would like to make one tidbit amendment to what I said in yesterday's post: I KNOW He is Guiding us through this 'storm'. One may not understand the 'hows', the 'whens', or the 'wheres'; yet suffice to say that He IS the Solution and Answer to our Prayers! We just have to keep on having the FAITH in Him, that He will always Provide our needs; as He has a purpose and a good plan for all of us. 'He IS the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIGHT.

Alan's knee is still a major concern and is quite painful. We most likely will be postponing our vacation to Zihua this December; and enjoy staying 'close to home'. Alan is on a 'top priority' list for surgery; and if there is a cancellation, he is there. With the festive season coming up, there may be a good chance that an opening could present itself. A plus, we can put up a few tidbitz Christmas decorations, and enjoy many special bittidz moments with family and friends. Another consideration is that with the current ecomonic conditions worldwide, we are 'taking stock' of what we have; (we do not invest in stocks; and I have empathy for those that were / are caught in such an unfortunate scenario) and reassessing our longterm options.

As mentioned in earlier posts, we have our old home (a gorgeous large one bedroom apt, if I say so myself! LOL!) and yesterday, we have reduced the price yet again, that reflects on what the market will bear and attract. We are confident that this time, it will be sold! We have formed a wonderful friendship with our realtor; lovely guy; and we exchanged tidbits of ideas back and forth, along with bittids of suggestions, as to how best to 'weather the storm',(the 'trials and tribulations') that we are all experiencing today. He gave us some good advice; and we gave him an extra bit of Hope (he is a tid fearful, because of the market slump); by gently witnessing to him about Him and having FAITH in Him to Provide the Solutions. His outlook brightened vastly!

Extra tidbits & bittids:

Be appreciative for your Blessings. We have a friend who was just diagnosed with terminal cancer, and the prognosis is, she may not make Christmas.

A dear friend of ours and her son, were very fortunate; when their tire on their car travelling at 110 kpm hit a pothole, with the tire exploding. Naturally, the car went out of control; however, the son calmly and masterfully manoeuvred the car over to the left; away from the fierce sheer drop to the right. Had he not, the car would have gone over over the cliff. Thankfully, the traffic saw the car's flashing hazard lights; and pulled back; and there were no injuries, save to the car, needing repairs. A wake up call for us all; and as we both thankfully agreed, He has her and her son, in the Palm of His Hands. He has a Plan and a Purpose, all to the GOOD!

Have to go for now; may be back later today. It is a cloudy, overcast Fall day; a perfect day for a cosy fire! Am going to study a bit of Spanish (by gradual osmosis); and heartily embark again on the book, 'Revelation Unveiled', by Tim LaHaye.

Looking forward to tomorrow's Vision Channel, whereby I can appreciate more teachings from 'Hour of Power' (the Schullers), 'Enjoying Everyday Life' (Joyce Meyer), and 'Living Truth' (Charles Price); and will share some tidbits. However, it is best to check them out, or rather, 'check them in'(I like that expression!); and you can grow in your journey / walk of understanding and knowledge, from their encouraging bittids!

The above photo image confidently speaks for itself! 'When the going gets tough, the tough get going!'

God Bless.
