An appreciative vacation in one's own back yard!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting for you, in your part of the world!

Where has the tidbitz time gone? The days have been full, since my last post of June 25th.Take time to smell the roses and appreciate your Blessings!

Doing daily what is needed to best survive! Could write a best seller or a few! LOL! The experiences Alan and I are learning,  have been most enlightening.

This weekend is the long weekend (Canada Day) and we are going to enjoy a quiet time in our bittidz garden, and also appreciating our Blessings all the more.

On Thursday evening Alan received a call from a friend, whose house had just burned down. Can you believe it?  He and his family fortuantely, have been put up in a hotel; but the hotel does not take dogs. They have a rather large dog (a cross between a Black Lab and a Great Dane), who we have had here once before. When the owner calls up Alan and says, 'Alan, I need your help. My house just burned down.' Well there is no question as to what we would do! Plus, we receive a little tid of remuneration for our help.

As mentioned earlier, in one of the recent posts, we have been given an awesome vision!  If you wish, you can refer to my post of  Hope and Vision! which gives you a bit more of an idea.

Had certain things worked out earlier, we would have been well on our way in growing a thriving caring location for dogs. However, for now, it would appear, we are limited for many reasons; so we are working around things as best as we can. This dog is lovely and it is possible that we may have him staying with us, anywhere from 3 to 6 months. We really do miss our 'Blue' (Blueheeler / Australian shepherd cross); however, if this dog ever needed a home, we would step up to the plate.

We have checked out several options; and we have to keep trekking in FAITH and HOPE.  We know He has a good plan for us and we just have to simply and patiently TRUST AND ABIDE IN HIM, as per His Will, His Plan, and His Purpose.

Tidbit - God KNOWS ALL. He has a PURPOSE for everything.  Methinks, that gives us some tidbitz strength and reassurance.

As well as providing Alan and I with a bittidz of comfort, knowing that He sees and exposes ALL; as  per His Will, Purpose, and Plan, as in the TRUTH! As mentioned,  no one can hide anything from Him, as 'HE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.'

Bittid - "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you." "Love thy neighbour, as thyself."

This is so tidbit true and Alan and I are determined to do our best, but with Him directing our Path. Things are most uncertain; however, we are grateful that we can lay all our bittid burdens at His feet. Knowing He Provides! He has sustained us thus far! We give Him thanks! No matter what bittids unfolds.

So for those of you, who have been thwarted, falsely maligned, mistreated, etc. do not give in to those dark moments. Instead, rise above it with GRACE and PRAISE HIM IN ALL THINGS. He and He alone, knows what is best for you. He has a GOOD PLAN!  Let go, cast all your cares upon Him. Remain strong and confident,  do NOT allow yourselves to be discouraged by those who do not wish the best for you.

This weekend will be a most reflective time of tidbits for Alan and I to ponder and re evaluate. Fortunately, we love each other (perhaps to some others' chagrin); but we know He will help us through all storms. We are ready, willing, and able to do what He would have us do. Again, we are Blessed and joyfully thankful we have each other and that we can enjoy our lives together day by day. Yes, it is tough going; however, we can look back and we know that He has seen us through many 'trials and tribulations.' We do have some real 'doozers' coming up; but again. we are leaving ALL the consequences to Him.

In my post (June 15th) An abundant canvas!  there is a photo of a Braveheart plant, that started from a small scattered seed and that has now really flourished forth! It found its way into a tidbitz crack of pavement and it has perservered 'against all odds'. I think that is awesome! Another one of God's special bittidz Blessings to be thankful for! Some of our neighbours are in appreciative awe as well, and we will give them some seeds. Earlier in the Spring, we gave our neighbours some Braveheart seedlings, and now their plants are flowering! Pay it forward!

Peace and God Bless.

Take time to smell the roses and appreciate your Blessings!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

To quote from yesterday's post: 'Some wonderful ministries' - "There are also some other meaningful programs that have momentarily escaped my mind; however, I will include them when I remember them."   I have really appreciated all the programs and there are too many to include, However, 'Tomorrow's World' is another ministry, which has also been very insightful.

Tomorrow's World | Making plain the Bible's answers to the most ...www.tomorrowsworld.org/‎  Tomorrow’s World , is 'sponsored by the Living Church of God under the leadership of Roderick C. Meredith.'

that I was going to share a few bittids from yesterday's sermon, methinks it best if you were to tune in to hear the complete tidbit message for yourselves. Also what John Maxwell says, as well, is enlightening and encouraging.  I appreciate what Joyce responds to how she treats people;  particularly those who have mistreated or wronged her etc. ie. 'That is, to never treat people the way she was treated; just turn it around.'  Methinks, that takes courage and empathy; and when one has been through some bittidz, this is a good tidbitz to follow.

Joyce also mentions that there is a 'waiting' time for God to work through you. It is a gradual growth and so often, the ones waiting, as 'in the middle', tend to just give up, when the journey is too tough to keep on trekking. Joyce is saying 'Do not ever give up on what God has called you to do' or words to that effect. That is what Alan and I are experiencing these days AND, eventhough, bittid things are uncertain, we know that trusting in Him, we will make it through. As mentioned, Alan and I travel on a 'road less travelled.'

There has been a lack of clarity and very little transparency; however, we are hopeful that there will be an  honourable and equitable solution before too long. A win / win for all those concerned. In the bit meantime, Alan and I are doing what we can do, to survive; and living one day at a time. (He asks us to give Him today). At the same time, we are thankful for our tidbit Blessings. This is a bittid photo that I just took of a beautiful orange / apricot/ yellowish rose in our flourishing tid garden.. I am amazed by its fragile and wonderfully formed foliage! The freshly fallen raindrops upon it, also give it an even more majestic delicate beauty. This fragrant bloom is from one of the rose plants that my daughter gave me a few years ago for Mother's Day.

Tidbit - Never give up or lose hope. Always have hope and do not let others steal your dreams. Take time out for a moment to 'smell the roses.' LOL!  Reflect too upon your Blessings! A sense of humour helps too.

Bittid - Be a Blessing to others - always. When you smile, or offer a word of encouragement, or even do a kind deed for someone, not only do you help them feel better, but you feel immediately better as well. At the end of the day, Give grateful thanks to God and simply continue to do your best to enjoy the path (without angst), He has put before you. Even if it is uncertain, KNOW for certain, that He will help you through the storms.

Peace and God Bless.

Some wonderful ministries!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Yesterday I watched various ministries on the Vision Channel as well as Joy10 TV. They all have such inspiring messages to impart!   I will list the ministries for easy reference and there are other sites, that I have really appreciated as well. My heartfelt thank you to all of them!

Tidbit - It is a matter of personal choice; to Invite Jesus Christ into your hearts and when you do, you will find your life will never be the same again. He will never leave you; no matter what. Just keep having the Faith and the Trust in Him; each and every tid day. Plus, these programs provide wonderful bittids of teaching resources; and you may wish to 'Pay it Forward' by referring others you care about, to their sites.

There are also some other meaningful programs that have momentarily escaped my mind; however, I will include them when I remember them.

In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley - Crosswalk.com

www.crosswalk.com/devotionals/in-touch/

www.kcm.org

From listening to the various sermons, I also wrote down a list of verses from the Bible to refer to, for the Truth that is found in the Bible. However, you can glean those from whatever ministry you choose.

Bittid - It is good to have some verses memorized, so that  they can come to your mind, when you need encouragement etc.

On Enjoying Everyday  Life with Joyce Meyer, she was sharing her thoughts also with highly regarded John Maxwell.
www.johnmaxwell.com/  and I will share some of their inspiring tidbits in another post.

Hope this has been a bit of an uplift and help to those of you who wish to know more.

Peace and God Bless.

Always learning!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Well, we had another 'hurdle' that we had to face yesterday. Thanks to two friends, who helped us meet that crucical deadline.  Both people are having tough times as well; yet they have 'been there' themselves; so they do not scorn nor rebuke us.  As I mentioned in an earlier bittid post: "Those who have, don't;  those who don't, do." This does not apply to everyone; however, in our recent tidbit experiences with  'Human Nature 101', it has been an enlightening observation.

We also were able to get a bit of food for our larder, as we were pretty tidbitz low on fuel. Gas as well. We have something in the city tomorrow that we have been invited to; and that may turn into an opportunity in the future. Right now, we have nothing to lose; so it is best to turn up and go from there.

Yesterday was a day from you know where - everything was happening left, right and centre; all sorts of obstacles; like the heat was literally turned up to the highest volume.  This tidbit expression from our friend, is so true:

The devil brings storms into your life to intimidate you.
You glorify God when you continue to do what you know is right anyway.

He and another Christian friend were the ones who helped us and we are forever grateful for their 'generosity of spirit.'  Thank you!

We still have many bittidz challenges before us; but again, we are Relying upon Him to Direct our daily path. Alan and I live one day at a time. ie. We can not lament about the past; nor can we have angst about the future. That being said, we have to be resilient in our day to day Faith and Trust that He has everything in hand. We are thanking Him in advance; eventhough we do not know what lies before us.

Have to admit, we have been led a bit down the garden path for some time. We were hopeful, this was not the tid case. At the same time, we were also 'given' a Vision by Him and we were excited - still are, if that is His Way. However, that being said,  we were also trusting to have certain circumstances work out. ie. The way things were presenting themselves, looked, indeed, to be an awesome solution, for all those concerned!  We even did our due diligence in finding a most prudent location; whereby Alan and I would have a viable means (at no cost to us).to pursue a wonderful lifelong career, that would also help others!  For the time being however,, it appears that those plans have been 'put on hold' or even scuttled.  Deception, manipulation, control, ego, malice, indignant arrogance, inequities, have all contributed to a major lack of transparency and honour. Sadly, I  have discerned all of this.  'They' know; but alas, it would appear, 'they' have 'twisted and turned things around to suit their purpose and agenda!  Their self motivated M.O.'s and what is best for them. Making us look as if we are the ones who are at fault and hence to dispense with us; as if we are '3rd class' citizens and 'under their thumbs.'  In reflective response, we choose to be UNDER the 'Thumb of the Authority' of Christ!  Therefore, Alan and I will continue the daily 'good fight' in His Service and be ready for what unfolds, as uncertain as things may be. We do know that He is for Certain - everlasting.

Tidbit - Truth. You can fool / manipulate people; but you can not fool nor manipulate Him. 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.'

This morning, I watched the Vision Channel and listened to Dr. Charles Stanley, of 'In Touch Ministries' and he gives an inpirational message on: 'Starved for Love.'

This Week on TV - In Touch Ministries

www.intouch.org/broadcast/this-week-on-tv

It makes a lot of tidbitz sense; and I recommend anyone who has a bittidz of yearning, to tune in to his wonderful ministry.

Bittid - Hear what Dr. Stanley is imparting in his encouraging teaching. It is extremely helpful and healing. I wish I had had that solid opportunity years ago, when I was attempting to raise my children..  May this be of help to them when they raise theirs.

This is a very recent photo of our bittid garden of herbs, that have thrived bountifully from last year. We just need to add a tid of sweet basil and a couple of other produce spices, and that should do it! We are thankful for the Blessings that have flourished forth!

We pray for all those who come into our lives and we appreciate prayers as well.

Peace and God Bless.

Resiliency!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Thank you to all those who read my journal posts; am totally appreciative.  I hope they offer bits of encouragement and provide a few tids of uplifting tidbits.

"What you see, is what you get." So, you read the Truth as well; even if the bittids are not as rosy in our current circumstances. My Dad always used to say: "Life is not a bowl of cherries."  Well, it would appear that he was / is right and I can perhaps add that there are also some rotting cherries in the tid mix. That may be more to the poignant point and perhaps what my Dad may have meant too. He experienced many a setback, against all odds, etc; BUT he was able to 'rise above it all.' Good on him! I find out after his death, that he was a very spiritual man. Actually he built one of the first Interdenominational churches or place of prayer / worship in North America. He was a very modest, humble, and low profile person; but was very gifted with 'the Fruits of the Spirit.' I have learned more about my Dad, since his passing. He was a remarkable figure.

We do Rely upon Our Father for His Guidance and Direction in our daily walk in His Service. Very simply: "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

We have experienced setbacks and the very latest bittidz being, we had been led to hope that 'something would be resolved and in the works.' Well,  we would like to believe that is still so; but along the way, we have been mislead for one bit reason or another. Manipulation, control, self serving motives, lack of transparency comes to my discerning mind. Do not like what I have sensed; however, there are too many conflicting details or RATHER, lack of details. Does not add up, methinks. Also, a tidbit thought may be: "We'll show them. Brow beat them and they will come around."  I would like not to think so; however having discerned smugness, indignation, self righteousness, etc this is truly not sitting well within my heart. Am expressing my sadness and dismay, should this be a bittid possibility. I truly would like to hope that this is not part of the mix. We are looking for fair play and an equitable solution; NOT what I / we have been exposed to thus far. 'By their words, actions, and deeds', it woudl appear they have shown themselves up. In the end, they will not be the winners; even if they think they are. Unfortunately, it would appear they are attempting to pull a fast one!

Alan and have some very tough tidbitz decisions to make; a large part being due to the lack of transparency and clarity. You know your inner 'gut' - well, sometbing is very definitely not 'kosher' to me.

Tidbit - Discernment is a Gift from the Holy Spirit. If you have invited Him into your heart and you diliigently Seek Him out, you will be given Grace and other 'Fruits of the Spirit.'

A wonderful friend (one of our few friends) passed away just recently. I knew she was not well, but I did not realize that when I saw her last, that would be the last time. She was an extra special human being and it was a genuine friendship we enjoyed. We are thankful for the time that we spent with her and that it was a gift to have known her; albeit for only a couple of years.

Bittid - Life is too short. Reconcile with your family / friends. However, if your attempts at doing so, fail or are foiled, then let it be. Continue to have a forgiving heart and Pray for them (and for yourselves to0);; but let them go. If they come back to you and want to genuinely initiate a new beginning, then give them an awesome and reciprocative and warm welcome!  As the tidbit expresssion goes:: "If you love someone, let them go. If they come back, they are yours. If they do not, they never were."

Just took the photos of our salmon / pink roses and our apricot roses, that are blooming forth in splendid resiliency! These lovely roses were gifts from my daughter, on a couple of Mother's Days a few years ago.  We have repotted these wee bittid roses and they are thriving wonderfully!  Another few of God's Blessings!

Peace and God Bless.

"Inner beauty' from the heart, FAR outweighs the 'outer appearance'

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

The last few bittid days have literally just whizzed by!  Full of tidbit 'trials and tribulations' - again! Guess they are always there to 'test' our metal and that we must continually 'rise above it all' - with Grace! (Easier said than done at tid times!)

Alan and I are pretty 'wartorn' with all the ongoing 'hindrances.' We no sooner get ahead a bit, then there is something else. (not complaining, just what appears to be happening). Well, methinks, walking a daily journey in Christ is NOT as easy as one would imagine. There is a tidbitz price to be paid; and it would appear that we have been paying much towards that walk. However, we can be consoled knowing where our eternal address will be! It is NOT BY GOOD WORKS, that gives us entrance to Heaven. It also is not by the size of the bank account either. It IS being guided by the Holy Spirit always - by " Doing unto others, as you would have them do unto you." But MORE importantly, is that Christ IS at the Doorway of your heart; and all you need to do, is to INVITE Him into your heart! When that happens, your life forever changes; albeit not necessarily a smooth bittidz road. Alan and I choose to take the road (His Road) less travelled (we are not 'fair weather' Christians). We have witnessed that those who reach out 'genuinely' to us, ARE genuine. (They are few and far between, alas. However, we are thankful for their kindness, understanding,  empathy, compassion etc).  Sadly, we have also experienced those, who  - by their 'words, actions, and deeds'  have shown a less than complimentary side.

Some tidbitz of news! A dear friend of ours brought over a lasagne casserole, along with a generous green salad, and some wine the other evening! She knows our larder is quite bare (and we have been very prudently frugal and stretching our meagre meals). We brought her up to date and now that she is more fully aware of the actual TRUTH, she is just AGOG; shaking her head. 'Agog' is such a good tid descriptive word!

On another wonderful note, an opportunity has presented itself to us, that may open an avenue of prosperity. (It found us). However, a few things would help. ie. Getting my hair done etc/  However, we do not have access to this luxury at this time; so we will have to just make the bittidz best of it - as in having our 'Inner Beauty'  shine and glow forth instead. LOL!  Men have it easier then women here!  Fortunately, Alan and I enjoy people (well, within bit reason) and this may be one of His awesome Plans that He is launching, as per His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan. I KNOW He has a Purpose AND a good Plan for us!!!! (That goes for all of you too!).

We have relied on past tids of communiques from others (you can refer to my earlier posts for bits of background / bittidz thoughts etc); however, the tidbitz is, we have been woefully 'let down.' So, we have to just simply 'take stock and move forward' with courage and confidence in Trusting Him to totally Provide. He is Our Heavenly Father, and He knows what IS best for each and every one of us. We are daily holding to that steadfast in FAITH!  That is what we all need to calmly do!!!! Particularly, when you are under strife and attack of what appears to be overwhelming obstacles.

Tidbit - Do not worry about your exterior. It is the heart (the inside / interior) that matters the most! - TO HIM!!!!! He KNOWS of ALL who you are; even before you have been born. One may be able to 'fool' others; but you can NOT fool Him!

Bittid  - It is very easy to just 'give up', lose hope,  particularly when all strikes appear to be against you. Take bold courage and be brave in 'putting up / engaging in the good fight. 'The TRUTH SETS YOU FREE!!!!!

We have some very pressing needs; however, we are leaving it ALL up to Him to Provide. We have been doing our tidmost best. However, best to " Leave all consequences to Him." As mentioned, Alan and I had thought there had been some truth to certain developments happening. Be it by comments, suggestions, encouraging feedback, erc that things would happen - well, ???????   Believe it or not, we still feel that there will be something happening; BUT, not just yet. All I can say is that we have sorely been let down and our trust betrayed as a result. There is NO simpler way of putting it.  So we must continue, despite adversity, hindrances, etc and INSTEAD,  look forward to His AWESOME Solution!!!  Continue to be of the best bitmost good cheer to yourself; and hence, to impart Blessings to others!

In various upcoming tidbit matters, we are Relying upon the Holy Spirit to help us by giving us His Direction, regardless of all the arrows / darts of hate, false accusations etc aimed at Alan, at me, and or at us. I am also taking a stand for Alan. He has been wrongly maligned. Those who have made the sincere bittid effort to know him, know he is a worthy warrior in His Service. Maybe that is the TRUTH of it; as in a spiritual battle!  Various 'people" think that I have 'changed' and that Alan is to blame. NOT SO! On the contrary! I am so thankful and happy that I met Alan ('In Answer to Prayer' - you can refer to earlier posts - June 2007 etc) some 11 years ago! He has been misunderstood (so have I, but no matter. We know who are our friends - few, I might add; but we are grateful and appreciative for them!).

It is pouring with rain here; does not feel as if summer is here! However, everything does look so lush and green! As in tbis magnificent 'Bohemian'  and relaxed photo image, that I just love!

We are very appreciative of your thoughts and Prayers.

Peace and God Bless.

Blessed be the Father!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It has been an interesting tidbitz Sunday. Today is Father's Day. I really miss my Dad. However, as mentioned in the previous post, I have many wonderful memories to remember and honour him.

Will say that my Dad was a 'warrior' in His Service. When I was a little bitz of a girl,  I just knew I was 'different' - perhaps a bit of a 'warrior' myself. Hard to explain. Maybe just the fact that I was a tidtz 'tomboy' and that I had a very happy uncomplicated childhood. I am very thankful for those 'stress free'  / care free years that I spent as a child.  And perhaps it is now, that I finally perhaps understand a bittidz more, of how great a man my Dad was - to all those who knew him. (My Mum was great too).

There were some 'in between' years, where perhaps the 'stuffing' had been knocked out of me - ie Me being belittled and undermined by certain individuals who took advantage of my 'good nature.' Basically that I was 'nice' and that I had a 'good' disposition / temperament.  Well, recently, I have had an ephifany. 'All is not what it would appear to be.' It has only been over the last few bittids of months, that I have sadly been made aware of ulterior self serving motives of those supposedly close to me. Quite a major blow to my heart and then some. That being said, from my June 11th post -  'Milk and Honey"   I reiterate a tidbit of reassurance and comfort to me.
"God does not care about the size of your bank account; He cares about the size of your heart,'  I think that wonderful bittid insight was given from Dr. David Jeremiah (www.davidjeremiah.org) of Turning Point.

Dr. David Jeremiah's  ministry is also one of the ones that I really appreciate; as he calls it what it is.  His message on 'Keep Calm and Carry On' is dead on! For those of you who are experiencing tid moments, a bit suggestion is to tune into his encouraging ministry and teachings.

Last night Alan and I enjoyed our first full meal in a long time. Our friend (the one who suggested the 'Donate Button' You can refer to  A new canvas each day!) gave us a donation towards food for us. (Food for thought, methinks! It certainly helps! You can only have tomato soup and tea for so long!). We were able to purchase everything ON SALE!!!! ie. Spaghettini;  two bottles of Pasta Sauce, for the price of one; Parmesan Cheese; some ground round meat; and a generous bag of Portugese buns. The amount came to exactly what she gave us! Write about right to the penny! We have various tids of spices in our garden and the oregano, added the perfect touch! We have never appreciated a dinner so much! Thank you, to our compassionate friend.

As mentioned there is uncertainty; however, we know that somehow He will Provide. He IS for certain. We know too, that He has a Purpose; so we have to continue to be resilient in our Faith. Alan and I do travel on roads less travelled; and maybe that is part of the 'gritch.' We are not 'yes' people; save to Our Father. My Dad was not a 'yes' person either. Actually, nor was my Mum.  I was adopted (the blood parents were also 'Vikings' - like my Dad who adopted me; saying I was 'made to order' as in a 'carbon copy' and that he and my Mum could not have produced as close a tid combination).

Alan is a Scot; so he is a bit of a 'warrior' as well.  Against all bittid odds, regardless of adversity, 'trials and tribulations,' I have him to thank for introducing me to Jesus Christ. Alan has been misunderstood more often than not; and unfortunately, he (and now me as well) have been the 'scapegoats' of bits of false accusations etc.

Tonight we will be enjoying the tidbits of 'leftovers' of last night and this delicious meal will stretch us for another few meals!

Tidbit - Be of good cheer, regardless of your circumstances. Be a 'Blessing' to others!

Bittid - Be thankful for each and every day. 'Praise Him in ALL Things.' Know that He has a Purpose for you, and just keep on trekking!

Referring back to my Dad,  who loved gardening, I gave him a Queen Elizabeth rose for Father's Day many years ago. (You can refer to my earlier posts, if you wish).
Also in reflecting, it is the 'generosity of spirit', not the size of the bank account that God cares about. Cash may be 'king'; but eternally we are worshipping THE KING OF KINGS.

Let us give thanks to Our Father above,  as we celebrate Father's Day!

Peace and God Bless

An abundant canvas!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Am glad and thankful it is the weekend! We woke up to sunny skies today;  as in a brand new dawn, a new day, and a new canvas!!!!

A new canvas each day!  You can refer to that post for some tidbits if you wish.

There have been many obstacles; yet somehow, with His Help, we have been guided and directed through the maze; which it is - like a bit of a labyrinth. Things are still pretty uncertain; however, we know He IS our certainty, regardless of where we may find ourselves scattered etc. Was uplifted by the sunshine, the birds chirping, all the thriving plant / flower vitality / new growth in our bittid garden!

We are continuing to do everything we can to stabilize; however, we have also had to be courageous in our daily 'Leap of Faith' as well as having the perpetual Trust in the Lord.  As in Matthew 19:26 -  "All things are possible with God."

Tidbit - Do not lament or dwell on the past, nor have 'angst' for the future;  simply live one day at a time and do your best to enjoy the day, with its new canvas.

At times, this is easier said than done; and as of late, it has been a tid hard for us to put on a smile and be of good cheer. However, we all have a choice. Do we let worry consume us? Or rather, do we 'cast all our cares' upon Him and leave all the consequences to Him? Alan and I chose to do the tidbit latter; and are waiting with confident expectation that there is going to be an awesome breakthrough!  So, to those of you, who are downtrodden, discouraged, in despair, devasted and / or destitute, in heavy sadness, and so forth, well, throw all your troubles upon Him. 'The TRUTH does set you free." ie  Throw your worries OUT the door!   Actually throw them ALL over to God.

Bittid - Do your best to enjoy the journey while you wait upon Him. It is in the 'HOW'  while you wait with trust and expectancy for Him to provide as per His Promise to us.

Can not remember whether it was Joyce Meyer (www.enjoyingeverydaylife.org)  or Joel Osteen (www.joelosteen.org) who shared that particular bittid on worry. You can tune into their wonderful websites for heartfelt bittids of inspiration. Also, there are many other ministries that also provide great tidbit resources of encouragement and hope.

I just took two photos of our incredible 'Braveheart' flowering plant. The first picture shows the little tough offspring of the second picture! Another magnificent Blessing of flowering seeds of abundance that He Creates! Hope you enjoy a nice weekend and a Happy Father's Day tomorrow, to all Dads.

Eventhough my Dad passed away several years ago, I think of him often. He was a very special man. Those of you, who have parents / grandparents etc who are still alive, spend time with them, before it is too late and they are no longer here. Fortunately,  I made the time to be with my Dad (and Mum) and I have happy memories of them both!  Yes, there were some 'tid' moments; however, their tidbitz training / teachings were given to me from their hearts. They did their bittidz best and I am appreciative of that tidbit knowledge.

For those of you who are experiencing a bit of family discord or strife, best to make an effort to put bittid things right - again, before 'they' are no longer with you. Know that the door is always open for lines of communication and reconciliation! Lest we forget Christ came to reconcile man to the Father.

Peace and God Bless.

A new canvas each day!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

With some suggestions and encouragement from good friends, I got set up with a blogsite in 2007..

What began as a bittid journal, started to have a life of its own! ie. With our tids of 'ups and downs,' I thought I would share them; thinking perhaps it would help others who have had their fair share of trials and tribulations. I wrote often and as I enjoyed writing, it also uplifted my spirits. It felt good to be of good cheer to those who read my posts!  The last few years, I wrote less and less and less posts. "Life got in the way." If you were to start at the beginning (whew!) you would have a smattering of our journey, which is ongoing.  However, I continued to write a few bits here and there; as seen as per my Blog Archive.

Recently, a few close and kind friends asked me to write again as they missed reading my posts. So, I  was encouraged to start again. I found that I also missed writing the posts.

To recap a bittidz:

A wonderful long time friend who has read my posts for all these years, has always been uplifted by them and told me that she thought others around the world would be also! It was she, who suggested the Donate Button.  I enjoy writing and as mentioned, the blog would appear to have a life of its own! ie. Whenever I write a post, I am Directed by the Holy Spirit and primarily, it is to uplift all those who read them! May they feel a bit better after they have read a tid or two.

That being said, my friend is encouraging me to continue writing my posts and that the Donate Button would not only help us in our currrent plight, but also as time goes on; we would Pay It Forward. ie. By donating as an appreciative tidbit thank you, to all the ministries that have provided me with such refreshing inspiration and reinforcing insights! I will be a good steward with all donations to buy and provide items for those in tidbitz need of gloves, hats, socks etc in the upcoming fall and winter months. There are many ideas / projects that I would activate and it would be on a continual basis to help the less fortunate throughout the year.

Tidbit - Always look at a new day as a new day.

In my daily walk in Christ, I am reminded to treat each day as a special one; as if it is a brand new canvas to paint with His Guidance.

Bittid -  In Psalm 27:14 - "Wait for the Lord; Be strong, and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord."

I love the Psalms; as they provide such a peaceful comfort and empowering strength!  Last night, I was 'Guided' to Psalm 27 ('A Psalm of Fearless Trust in God') and all 14 verses speak to my heart!  I just reread the chapter and it is very applicable to what is going on today.

I feel better by having written this post; and for those of you, who are feeling a bit overwhelmed etc by 'spiritual onslaughts', take courage, and be of good heart and  mind!

I like the encouragement and the TLC seen in this photo image.
Good night and will be back before too tid long.

Peace and God Bless.

'Milk and Honey"

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Yahoo!!!!! Finally was able to install the tidbitz orange DONATE button!  If you wish, you can refer to my June 1st post -  Timing. for a  bittidz of background etc. The interesting thing is, that after some assistance, I just 'left it to Him' to show me what was left to do! And voila!

So to my dear Aussie friend, THANK YOU!!!!! for encouraging me to continue with writing posts, with the hope to uplift all those who read them!

The night before last, I was up a few tid times during the night. Yes, I will admit, I was under 'spiritual' attacks of anxiety, worry,  fear of unchartered waters  / uncertain territory etc. (Those thoughts of angst etc usually appear at night don't they?).  However, I was ' Directed' straight to the Bible. There were 3 passages at 3 different intervals that I was 'Guided' to read.  I was experiencing quite a bit of devasting scenarios, as well as discouragement, and even a bittid of despair - given all the 'stuff' ??? that has been happening right out of left field???  I would like to suggest to those of you who are feeling less than 'chipper'  to refer to these 3 passages (or whatever verses give you comfort in the Bible); as they were exactly what the Doctor prescribed for my spirit.

Deuteronomy - Chapter 26.-  'Offering First Fruits.'  ALL of the chapter IS right on!  Alan and I have our dreams of relocating, and we would be taking our fruits / produce etc with us and replanting them!!! AND in the Bible, when a 'land of milk and honey' is mentioned, we have been given a vision of our new wondrous location! Best to read the whole chapter. To start with here are verses 1 &; 2.
"Then it shall be, when you enter the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance, and you possess it and live in it. That you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground which you shall bring in from your land that the Lord your God gives you, and you shall put it in a basket and go to the place where the Lord your God chooses to establish His name." Very reassuring fruitful tidbits methinks!

Job 42- 'God Restores Job's Fortune' verses 10 to 17. Well, that was a totally awesome encouragement as well! I have been 'Directed' a number of times to that particular passage. Very enlightening!

Last but not least -  Book 5 - Psalm 107 - 'The Lord Delivers Men from Manifold Troubles'  I read that chapter in its entireity and it provides such a wonderful comfort!  It is of good cheer to one's spirits!
Finally, I went back to bed and had a sound and peaceful sleep.  Yesterday came and went.  On Sunday, watched a few ministerial programs on the Vision Channel and I will share some bittids in another post.

For the past two days, I have been placed in 'testy' type of situations where there has been deception, manipulation, control, self serving interests, etc and it has been a major learning lesson to me. Comments are made, then contradictions, and then when 'asked' for explanations, as to the TRUTH of the matter, there appears to be the tactics of 'running away', dodging issues, being 'busy' etc,  Hence the process of avoidance of not wishing to have the real motives exposed or brought to light. Eventhough, it has been exhausting and dismaying, the rewards are the tidbit ephifanies!

Tidbit - "God does not care about the size of your bank account; He cares about the size of your heart!

I heard that tidbit on Sunday from one of the ministries I was watching on T.V.  My apologies; as I can not remember who shared that bittid of wisdom, or words to that effect'  BUT it is so very true!

Bittid - 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.'

It is our hope that once we are stabilized, then any excess help from donations, will also go to various ministries. As in PAY IT FORWARD.  Apart from Alan and I saying Prayers for others, we also are in need of a few Prayers ourselves.

The photo was taken of the beautiful Rhodi at our old home, app 3 years ago. May it give the people who live there now, lots of joy, like it did for us and all the passerbys.

Peace and God Bless.

FAITH!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

The other day, our same dear friend also sent us another tidbitz on FEAR - from the Kenneth Copeland ministries and I will include that message in today's post.

Interestingly enough,  the more I discover, the less I know. Alan and I have quite literally put our FAITH on the line. We live one day at a time and we are thankful for our daily Blessings. Eventhough we are in a very tough spot, we have to keep on trekking in FAITH and in TRUST, knowing that He has a Purpose for all of this.

As mentioned, we had prayerfully thought something was happening.
There still may be things brewing in the works; however, clarity and transparency are sorely needed.  The 'goal posts' / stories keep changing. The saying: "Oh the web we weave, when at first, we choose to deceive" appears to be an ever glaring truth!

Sadly, there is deception,  manipulation, iindignation, ridicule etc including false accusations;  as in decoys to confuse and deviate from the TRUTH.

The King James Version, this Commandment comes to mind -  "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour"  (9th Commandment)

Tidbit - 'He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.'

Bittid - More than ever, put on the WHOLE Armor of God.

Free From Fear
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. - 2 Timothy 1:7
What would you think if I told you that you could live without fear? Would you believe me if I said that despite what you saw on the news tonight, you could be perfectly at peace? Impossible? Unrealistic? No!
You see, fear isn't just a reaction to external circumstances. It's a spiritual force. It begins inside a person. And it is totally destructive. In fact, fear is Satan's primary weapon. He moves in response to fear, the way God moves in response to faith. He challenges the promises of God with it.
An excellent example of this is found in Matthew 14 when Jesus invited Peter to come to Him on the water. "But when he [Peter] saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me" (verse 30).
What enabled Peter to walk on the water? His faith in the Word of Jesus. What caused Peter to sink? He saw the wind boisterous and he was afraid. It wasn't the wind that defeated him, it was his fear of it! He looked at his circumstances, gave into the fear, and the result was defeat. If Peter had kept his focus on Jesus, his faith would never have wavered. All the blustering and blowing in the world couldn't have drawn him off course.
Faith is developed by meditating on God's Word. Fear is developed by meditating on Satan's lies. Such fearful meditation is called worrying. Don't do it!
The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Use it to fight Satan every time he comes against you. Hold up your shield of faith and quench all of his fiery darts. Speak words of faith and fear will depart.

In a bittidz, it has been both an enlightening and a dismaying revelation. However, I thank Him for the lessons Alan and I are learning through these experiences. We are leaving all the consequences to Him and, looking forward to His Solution.

As mentioned, I am not computer savvy; however, have managed to include the appropriate DONATE link. If you can help a bit, a heartfelt and appreciative thank you!

You can refer to my June 1st post  Timing  - which shares a bittid of background.  It is our tidbit hope that once we are stabilized, then any excess help from: donations, will also go to various ministries. As in PAY IT FORWARD.  Apart from Alan and I saying Prayers for others, we also are in need of a few tid Prayers ourselves.

I like this empowering photo image! As in putting on the whole Armor of God!

Ephesians 6:10-18

King James Version (KJV)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Peace and God Bless.

GLORY!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Our special friend, has sent us another wonderful tidbitz gem - from the Kenneth Copeland ministries. I have watched their programs on T.V. and both he (Kenneth) and his wife (Gloria) are very inspirational!

Strength Made Perfect
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9
When you run into an impossible situation, a situation you simply don't have the strength or the ability to handle, are you often tempted to simply give up and accept defeat? Don't! Instead shout, "Glory!" because the Word says God's strength is about to be made perfect in you.
The word translated "strength" in this scripture is dunamis. It means "God's miracle-working power." Just think about that. When your human strength ends, God has promised that His miraculous power will bring you through!
If you'll look in Acts 14, you can see that promise in action. The apostle Paul was stoned by a group of Jews, taken out of the city and left for dead. Paul's human strength had ended. He was absolutely powerless.
But the disciples gathered around him and prayed, and the Lord raised him up and he went on his way. In other words, when Paul didn't have enough human strength to overcome, God's miracle-working power was sufficient for him. It enabled him to be an overcomer in spite of his weakness!
So, if you are facing a crisis today. If you're sick and medicine has failed you. If your finances are out of control. If your family is falling apart. If bad habits have you hopelessly bound. If you've done absolutely all you know to do and you still haven't gotten results. Then rejoice! For when human strength ends, the power of God excels! Only believe! God's grace is sufficient for you!

The Way Church
Jun 5 - 6

Yesterday and today have found Alan and I totally exhausted; eventhough we have cast all our cares / worries upon Him. It is a battle of FAITH. This timely tidbit from Kenneth Copeland ministries is 'just what the doctor ordered!'  A comforting uplift!  So, again thank you to them, and to our dear friend.

This is the bittidz in a nutshell that our friend shares!
In Acts 14:22  brother Luke writes:  "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God."
  And so yes! Shout "Glory!"

Hope this bittid is a bit of a boost to all those of you, whose spirits are a tid weary !  GLORY!

Pavlova is one of my favourite desserts!   For whatever reason, when things are 'down and out,' I also always think of something special; as in 'Food for thought!'

Tidbit - Always keep your sense of humour! (If you have left over egg whites, make a Pavlova! LOL!).

Bittid -  'Praise Him in ALL Things' regardless of your circumstances etc.

The site offered below is the DONATE address, if you wish to help us a bittid. As mentioned, I am not computer savvy; however, have managed to include the appropriate tid link. If you can help, a heartfelt and appreciative thank you!

Throw your worries OUT the door!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

In my earlier bit post (May 26, 2013), Letting it go and moving forward!  I had made reference to Dr. Charles Stanley's empowering message. (www.intouchministries.org)

There are NO bittidz coincidences! A wonderful friend of ours and he knows who he is, sent us this gem of a tidbit today 'From the Pastor's Heart.'. A timely tidbitz of encouragement plus!

For those of you who are a bittid discouraged and would appreciate a tid of an uplift, read Dr. Stanley's inspirational insights!  Here is hoping too, that you will tune into his special  ministries; as his teachings are awesome!

We need more people like Dr. Stanley!

I thank also our friend again, as he is 'special' as well. That being said, Alan and I are on a real zig zaggy 'obstacle course'. No sooner getting through one hoop, when another leaps out at us! So as of last night, I literally threw my tid hands up in the air and stated out loud to Him -  " Fine. We have been doing our best and we can do no more. Do not know what else to do and I cast all my cares upon You!  May You take care of all my / our worries etc and, I am thanking You in advance! I know that You have everything in Hand and I TRUST you totally, with all my soul, my mind, my heart, and of all my being! Direct my path as per Your Will, Purpose and Plan.  Thank You!  In Jesus Christ's Name. Amen"

Well after I declared that Prayer OUTLOUD (It felt good; I could have almost sworn the walls shook!) and IMMEDIATELY, I felt a PEACE, WITHIN.  All of a sudden, OUT went the worries, the doubts, the aprehnsions, the fears, the anxieties etc etc etc. ( the 3 'etc' remind me of the wonderful musical, 'The King and I.' I love that musical!)

"Keep your eyes on the King of Kings!  That's where the victory will come from!"
In this case folks (again, to repeat another tidbitz from our amazing friend), this IS the King to keep your eyes on! He ALWAYS keeps His eyes on you and will never desert you!  No matter how bleak your situations are; He is ALWAYS there with you, Simply invite Him into your heart and Let Him and the Holy Spirit take over from there!

Today, I did the same TIDBIT thing - threw ALL worries out of the house,  this time with JOY! Yes! Can do nothing without Him. So, Fine. Have left all the consequences to Him. The obstacles are there; yet somehow, the zig zags are a bittid easier to go through. We are thankful! 'Praise Him In ALL Things!'

Was going to write the post on something else; but when our friend sent us this, I felt compelled to share this instead.  So, will be back before too long.

Again, you can refer to my post of 'Timing' which shares a bittid of info. Also, it is our hope that once we are stabilized, then any excess help re: donations, will also go to various ministries. As in PAY IT FORWARD.  Apart from Alan and I saying Prayers for others, we also are in need of a Prayer or few!

Peace and God Bless.

The site below is the DONATE address, if you wish to help. I am waiting for the web designer to insert / position the link / code re: the Donate Button. My apologies if any of this is a bit confusing to you. As mentioned, I am not computer savvy; however, have managed to at least include it in the tid mix.
