Seek the Lord with all your heart!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Another beautiful summery morning. We still have the service being provided to our internet. Hurrah! Am appreciative for that tidbit Blessing!  However, for the tidbitz time being, I will make the most of it.  As it is said: "Go out well." Meaning, giving each and every tid day your best; regardless of all bittidz that you face.

This morning I watched the Vision Channel and Dr. Charles Stanley is a wonderful warrior in His Service. His message today is wonderfully provocative and awesome and here is his website to tune into.: www.intouchministries.org

Dr. Stanley referred to a number of passages in the Bible. ie. Isaiah 55: 6 - "Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near." The whole chapter - "The Free Offer of Mercy" is a good one! Also, Proverbs 8:17 - "I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me." Those are tids of comfort to my ears! Very appropro for what Alan and I are experiencing at this time. Thank you Dr. Stanley for your insights.

Tidbit - Diligently seek the Lord with all your heart; and Rely upon Him to help you through the storms. Leave all the consequences to Him.

Bittid - Be confident and remain calm; KNOWING that somehow He will Direct your path, as per His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan.

Hopefully, we will still have the internet / tv service last for today; as I really do enjoy the encouraging and inspirational ministerial programs offered on the T.V. For easy tidbits of reference, here are some!

Some wonderful ministries!  June 24th post

Take time to smell the roses and appreciate your Blessings!  June 25th post

Give steadfast thanks!  July 6th post. You may want to refer to this bittid post that give you some bittids. Also about 'foods for thought!'

Here is a bit photo image of another favourite food of mine! Pavlova! Serve it with some vanilla ice cream and there you have it! So refreshing; particularly at this time of year, with all the fresh fruits!

Again, I also really appreciate all the encouragement I receive from my readers. Thank you for reading my posts; hope they provide a bit of an uplift to you!  Also, would appreciate your Prayers, as we definitely could do with a kind tid Prayer or two!

Peace and God Bless.

Give steadfast thanks!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

We have enjoyed a nice summery Saturday and wanted to let you know that we may be without internet, phone, tv service for a wee tid of a while. As you know, we have experienced a number of challenges and quite a bit has had to do with timing. Alan and I have done the best we can and eventhough we have made some payments towards our provider, the 'electronic system' still has the unforgiving edge. One has to pay the exact amount; right to the penny and not a penny less. So the amount we were hoping to make today, was rejected. However, that instead, will help provide some food and a pay a couple of bills.

We will be without service starting either this evening and / or taking affect Monday early morning. I am not embarrassed to say that there is a suspension; but it is preferable than a disconnect. So, I am thankful for that tidbit option. We have exhausted our bittid resources and for the time being, we fortunately have a cell phone that we can still use to be in touch with the 'outside' world. So, please accept my apologies if I am not able to write posts for a bittidz while.

Quite frankly I could write a tidbit best seller or few of the 'adventures' and learning curves that we have seen unfolding before us. I have literally had a crash course and with everything happening all at tidbitz once.

That being said, we are holding steadfast in Faith that He has a Purpose for all of this. I know too, that He, has a good plan for us; eventhough we do not understand why or what etc is going on. Romans 8: 28- "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His Purpose."

Tidbit - Our Father FORGIVES and PROVIDES!  So, do not allow yourselves to be bogged down by the mechanical systems / negatives. Turn them around and make the best of what is genuine with your heart.

I was told not long ago, to 'Take ownership.' Well, I am claiming it, all the more!  God is the Sovereign Who has total ownership of us, as per His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan. I am feeling relieved knowing that; and that He is our refuge and strength, no matter what happens. Somehow, Alan and I will survive. In this case, by the Grace of God. He is the one Who paddles our canoe.

Bittid -  Turn EVERYTHING over to Him. Let Him fight your battles for you. Do not be ovewhelmed by bittids of despair, discouragement, sadness, etc. Turn it around!' Ask Him to Direct your path to victory!  'He IS the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.'

We steadfastedly surrender to His Will, whatever it may be; wherever He would have us go. I claim ownership in Him; and He is my refuge and strength!

Methinks, with all what we have been going through, we have acquired more backbone than less! Plus, we have a greater compassion and empathy for those who are also in tough situations.

For some bittid reason, I just thought of Gaspacho soup. I just love it! When I was pregnant (a few tid years ago! LOL!) that was one of my cravings! Cold gaspacho soup! It is so healthy, with all the veggies. This is a perfect time of year to enjoy it! This is a photo image of the soup and a nice toasted garlic bread, and a bit of a touch of sweet basil. Yum!

I think too, to help get through not so great situations, is to have a sense of humour and to also think about food..ie. your favourite dishes or a particular meal that leaves a special memory. I have fortunately, several over the years.

So, thank you for reading my posts. Hope you can receive some tidbits of  uplift and encouragement.
Until I am back, here is wishing you the best of the best! He has an awesome Plan for each and every one of us. It is in the journey and walk in Christ, that it becomes more of a certainty.

Peace and God Bless.

Soaring with the eagles!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Can not believe how quickly the tidbitz time goes; even for just a few bittid days.

Today, the temperatures have subsided a tid and it is refreshing. The gentle rays of sunshine are appreciated too! A welcoming start to a summer weekend, methinks!

To give you a bit of a heads up.

It would appear that Shadow (you can refer to my earlier and recent posts) is going to be staying with us for some time. Apart from us loving dogs, it will also help us with a bittidz of cash flow. We have been helping a few friends out with their dogs, and it would appear that this may be a tidbit way of what He would have us do!  Earlier I had made mention of our ideas -  'Hope and Vision!  in my June 3rd post. We have not lost sight of those tids of vision!

This morning, I saw two majestic bald eagles soaring high overhead; with their huge expansive wings. I immediately thanked Him for that aweome Blessing! Like how often does one see that 'Heavenly' sight! Plus, the magnificent thought of soaring with eagles; and that 'TheTruth sets you free' soars through my heart, veins, and soul!

Tidbit - When you have done your best, simply leave the rest to Him to work out; as in casting all your worries / cares / doubts / anxieties / fears etc upon Him.

Bittid - "Be still and know that I am God." - Psalm 46:10.

Alan and I will do just that; being still and yet being ready at the same time. For whatever it is, He would have us do, as per His Will, Purpose, and Plan.

Psalm 91 - 'Security of the One Who Trusts in the Lord.' Verse 4 - ' He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.'  Apart from that verse giving me comfort, I hope it does for those of you, who also may be experiencing bits of 'trials and tribulations.'

The Bible is the Word of God, which is the TRUTH and in times of trouble, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Isaiah,  etc as well as the Books in the New Testament are wonderfully uplifting and FAITH BUILDING.

Peace and God Bless.

Treat others well, including your pets

Good Afternoon, or whatver is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Today it is not as warm as it was yesterday. The temperatures have cooled off a wee tid and this has also been a pleasant Blessing to the 2 year young 'pup', Shadow. As mentioned in a recent post, An appreciative vacation in one's own back yard!  the owner of Shadow called us because he had a bit of an emergency situation.  We had our Blueheeler, Blue; and sadly he passed away in Feb 2012. Thus far, we have not felt up to replacing our Blue, with another family dog. Yet, this particular dog, Shadow, who stayed with us in April, has touched our hearts. Shadow may be with us for 3 to 6 months. If it so happened that his owner wanted to give him up, we would adopt and welcome Shadow into our midst. He has the special makings of a very good animal to enjoy / appreciate as a family member / pet. The strange thing is, that I was thinking about Shadow the other day; and then his owner called us!  So, we are thankful that we have Shadow back in our lives, even if it is just for just a period of months. Again though, we would be there for Shadow, if it comes to that decision.

Alan just made me up a cheese sandwich from the delicious freshly home baked loaf of bread from our kind neighbours across the street. Alan will give them some more Braveheart seedlings as a thank you.

Tidbit - Kindness goes a long way; particularly if it is appreciated and reciprocated with a genuine heart. That also includes animals. You treat them well, they treat you well.

Right now Alan and I are in a bittidz of a 'wating' game - "In the middle' as Joyce Meyer (www.enjoyingeverydaylife.org) would put it.  We do have some tidbits in the fire; however, we have to be patient at the same tidbitz time. We have done what we can.

Bittid - Never give up. Rely on Him all the more to Provide, as per His Promise to take care of you. That He will never forsake you. Take comfort in that!

Also, with what bittid obstacles lie before us, Shadow has provided many bittids of joyful TLC distractions! This also makes me think that dogs are wonderful for older people (we are not old!) however, they do provide a lot of tidbit encouragment as companions to those who live on their own etc.

The above bittidz photo images are of Blue (he usually wore a blue bandana scarf;  however, is not shown in these pictures). He was a great dog / family member! So now we are appreciatively enjoying Shadow for whatever time he has been given to us as a Blessing, under our care. Shadow is also, a very affectionate animal, with a good heart, and yet at the same time (like Blue) has a tidbitz of a razor 'edge' if ever need be.

Also, my Mum passed away 8 years ago today; so I remember her as if it were yesterday. Thank you Mum, for adopting me!

Peace and God Bless.

Be a light to others

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

As per my post of June 29th, An appreciative vacation in one's own back yard!  Alan and I have truly appreciated and enjoyed a quiet weekend. We have also pondered much; and more so than ever, we are relying upon Him to Direct our path, as per His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan. Our immediate future is uncertain; however, we KNOW that HE is our certainty; as in our FINAL address of everlasting life in His Kingdom! Alan and  travel on a road less travelled - that is a tidbitz for sure! We are trusting in Him to Provide and at the same bittidz time, leaving all consequences to Him to work through everything.

The last couple of days have been warm summer ones. A heat wave has been forecasted in our part of the world; and it is in the high ninety's now. (Earlier, our outside thermometer was at 100 degrees Celsius). Glad we have a portable fan to utilize in our bedroom at night. Shadow, the dog, is also most thankful for the cool refreshing breezes of circulated air!

To recap a bittid, yesterday morning I watched the Vision Channel and Dr. Charles Stanley's  message re: 'Principles and Prefernces' is right on! Methinks, it is best if you were to tune in to his site.(www.intouchministries.org) to hear / learn for yourselves. Also, 'A Father's Instruction,'  Proverbs Chapter 4, offers excellent wisdom! Actually, the Book of Proverbs provides many wonderful tidbits and I am going to reread them as well!

There were a number of other ministries that I watched later in the day / evening; and in a recent post, I gathered a list of ministries that I have found wonderfully helpful, if you wish to refer to them and check into their sermons. ie Some wonderful ministries! (June 24th)  and Take time to smell the roses and appreciate your Blessings! (June 25th).

In Isaiah 5:20 & 21 "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;  Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitutes bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" "Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!" These 2 verses sum things up that we have experienced within the last tid while.

Joyce Meyer (www.enjoyingeverydaylife.org) is illuminating about how we treat others. For eg, if one mistreats you at work and then their car breaks down. What do you do? Do you say hurrah or, do you offer them a ride to work, while their car is being attended to? The bit gist of it, that you do your best to treat others well, even if they have not treated you well.

Alan and I reflect daily and we are thankful. Also, we choose to treat others well and be a Blessing to all those we meet. Sometimes, kind bittids comes back - Unexpectedly, as in the case of our neighbours, from across the street. Yesterday, he brought us over a freshly baked loaf of bread that his wife had just made! Alan had helped him a few weeks ago with his fence and they had not forgotten that small tidbit gesture. He and his wife are immigrants from the Balkans; and they are lovely people. Good neighbours! They are Blessed with being 'rich' by their 'generosity of spirit.'

Tidbit -  Take a stand for what is right.  To help you through the 'storms,' arm yourselves with the Full Armor of God and He will Guide you through everything. You can refer to Esphesians 6: 10 - 18 for the putting on of the armor. (see photo image below).

Bittid - Always be a Blessing and a light to others; even when the going is tough at times.

Happy Canada Day celebrations today to all those who live in Canada! As well as wishing a  'Happy Independence Day' celebratons on July 4th, to all those who live in the United States. We have much to be thankful for! ie. Freedom!

Peace and God Bless.
