Treat others well, including your pets

Good Afternoon, or whatver is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Today it is not as warm as it was yesterday. The temperatures have cooled off a wee tid and this has also been a pleasant Blessing to the 2 year young 'pup', Shadow. As mentioned in a recent post, An appreciative vacation in one's own back yard!  the owner of Shadow called us because he had a bit of an emergency situation.  We had our Blueheeler, Blue; and sadly he passed away in Feb 2012. Thus far, we have not felt up to replacing our Blue, with another family dog. Yet, this particular dog, Shadow, who stayed with us in April, has touched our hearts. Shadow may be with us for 3 to 6 months. If it so happened that his owner wanted to give him up, we would adopt and welcome Shadow into our midst. He has the special makings of a very good animal to enjoy / appreciate as a family member / pet. The strange thing is, that I was thinking about Shadow the other day; and then his owner called us!  So, we are thankful that we have Shadow back in our lives, even if it is just for just a period of months. Again though, we would be there for Shadow, if it comes to that decision.

Alan just made me up a cheese sandwich from the delicious freshly home baked loaf of bread from our kind neighbours across the street. Alan will give them some more Braveheart seedlings as a thank you.

Tidbit - Kindness goes a long way; particularly if it is appreciated and reciprocated with a genuine heart. That also includes animals. You treat them well, they treat you well.

Right now Alan and I are in a bittidz of a 'wating' game - "In the middle' as Joyce Meyer (www.enjoyingeverydaylife.org) would put it.  We do have some tidbits in the fire; however, we have to be patient at the same tidbitz time. We have done what we can.

Bittid - Never give up. Rely on Him all the more to Provide, as per His Promise to take care of you. That He will never forsake you. Take comfort in that!

Also, with what bittid obstacles lie before us, Shadow has provided many bittids of joyful TLC distractions! This also makes me think that dogs are wonderful for older people (we are not old!) however, they do provide a lot of tidbit encouragment as companions to those who live on their own etc.

The above bittidz photo images are of Blue (he usually wore a blue bandana scarf;  however, is not shown in these pictures). He was a great dog / family member! So now we are appreciatively enjoying Shadow for whatever time he has been given to us as a Blessing, under our care. Shadow is also, a very affectionate animal, with a good heart, and yet at the same time (like Blue) has a tidbitz of a razor 'edge' if ever need be.

Also, my Mum passed away 8 years ago today; so I remember her as if it were yesterday. Thank you Mum, for adopting me!

Peace and God Bless.
