God Bless us all in 2015!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It is New Year's Eve and tomorrow will be a brand new year with a 'new canvas' to enjoy! The last few days have found us reflecting upon this past year; as well as looking forward to moving into 2015. As mentioned, I have been watching various ministries on TV and their insights have all been hugely helpful! A heartfelt THANK YOU to them!

Was watching and listening to Jeremy Pearsons (for reference, you can refer to my recent posts)impart words of wisdom in his series: 'Jesus is leading you out'. I take solid stock in that and believe (sight unseen) that Jesus is Leading His children into abundance! As in an overflowing abundance! So, may we all reap bountifully from the harvest that is on its way. In the 'Parable of the Good Shepherd' - John 10:10 - 'The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.' This is totally awesome and speaks volumes; and Jeremy expands wonderfully on The Good Shepherd providing a life of overflowing abundance!

Also, mentioned that I really appreciated the wonderful Christmas CD from the Kenneth Copeland Ministries. We received a calendar as well as some other resources yesterday! I was like the 'kid in the candy store!' Like wow! There was a compact disc - 'Your Wealthy Place in God'; a DVD - ''Jesus Born of the Spirit, Born of the Word'; and a Minibook - '3 Steps to the Good Life'. The good sized calendar is beautifully done. I look forward to utilizing these special tools!

On their calendar, Kenneth and Gloria have offered a helpful way to read the Bible in its entirety in one year! It begins on Jan 1st with some chapters from Genesis, as well as some chapters from Matthew. So basically each and every day there are x number of chapters from both the Old Testament and the New Testament to READ. I have often wondered 'where to start.' Alan has given me suggestions and that has been great, but then after a bit, I tend to just read and memorize certain verses that 'jump out.' So this should equip me with a much more solid footing. THIS WILL BE VERY GOOD FOR ME. However, am glad it does not start until the 1st Jan. LOL! LOL! LOL!

Am truly looking forward to being more disciplined in reading the Bible. ie. Reading and then studying it each and every tid day. I may have to break the 'reading' into 2 times during the day (Old / New Testament); as there is a lot to digest all in one go. However, I will simply ASK Him for Wisdom and SEEK His Help in helping me to understand the Bible. I also have a bittid notebook that I will write down the extra special verses that touch my heart, that'speak' to me; so that I will have them for easy reference at any tidbitz time. I will be like a child, who enjoys being read a wonderful story!!!!!

Also, appreciated Andrew Wommack' wonderful insights in his message today-'Don't Limit God'.

In the middle of the night, I was 'guided' to go to the Bible and the page literally 'fell open'to 2 Chronicles 20 'Jahaziel Answers the Prayer'(this follows:'Judah Invaded' and 'Jehoshaphat's Prayer') As if on queue, this verse 'flew' out at me!- Verse 15 -'and he said, "Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat; thus says the Lord to you, Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's.' THAT IS A HUGE EPIFANY to me: ie. Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's. As of late, we have also had a lot of 'bittidz' on our plates and it appeared that everything was 'piling up'in 'great multitudes.' Immediately, I sought Him out and Asked Him for His Help; saying at the same time, that 'I cast all my cares upon Him and leave all consequences to Him.' That is when I was told to 'get up'and SEEK. This verse really says it all; the tidbit TRUTH being: 'the battle is not yours but God's.'

We have also a 'Tony Gazelle' walking machine, that will now be 'pressed into service'. I plan to 'walk on that' while I listen and / or watch an online teaching video from various ministries. I'll start on the machine for ten minutes, twice a day, and then work up a longer exercise regime over time. This will be of good cheer for the heart too!

The daily Bible Readings and the Tony Gazelle 'work out' will be every morning. (I will take Sundays off from the walking machine). However,I will enjoy these two special 'Walks' at the start of each day; so that I am 'ready, willing and able' to enjoy all the bountiful Blessings that He Provides and pours out excessively each day! I am thankful and THANK YOU, to the Copeland Ministries for their wonderful calendar and tools, along with their suggestions on how best to properly read the Bible. Yahoo! I also have just 'partnered' with them.

In closing, Alan and I are finishing 2014 with gratitude and appreciation; and we are looking forward to an awesome 2015! May you all enjoy the same! Happy New Year!

I love this majestic photo of the White Dove!

Peace and God Bless.

Blessings in overflowing abundance!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

We had a very wonderful quiet Christmas. The two little dogs we had staying with us were a special Blessing. We enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner, with all the tid trimmings and we have been appreciating the leftovers ever since, as well as Alan's tasty tids of turkey soup. It is, indeed, the Celebration of Christ's Birth!

At this bittidz time of year, a lot people reflect on the past year and moving forward into the new year. We have received a few awesome tidbitz miracles and may they keep on coming! Thank You, Our Father! The more you make an effort to SEEK and know Christ (you have to INVITE Him in first), the more that you are given. Honour Him and He will honour you. When you also SEEK WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING, and the Kingdom of God first, everything else is supplied by Him.

Alan and I are still relatively 'young' (in age) and I know that He has a Purpose and an awesome Plan for us. We just have to keep walking each bittid day by day in Faith and Trust, KNOWING that He always Provides. There are a few verses that come to mind. For example this morning I watched and listened to Andrew Wommack and his message is right on! Please tune into him. He made several references to the Bible and one of them is Deuteronomy 8:18 - ' But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you the power to make wealth, that He may confirm His convenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.' Actually the whole chapter is a good tidbit one to read.

Want to thank all the ministries that are 'out there' and spreading the message of Christ throughout the world! Peter Youngren is constantly expanding his ministry; and has been 'Provided' with the first Christian station in Pakistan. Wow!

Today I also listened to the Copeland's grandson, Jeremy Pearson speak and he was right on and sharing about overflowing abundance. How about having the attitude that you can still have an awesome breakthrough before this year ends and then see it move forward into the new year! Check out his empowering video / sermon: 'Jesus is Leading You Out.'

Interesting, because I had been in Prayer Dialogue about some matters, and what both Jeremy and Andrew were sharing, was pretty much what I had been speaking to Him about. There are NO COINCIDENCES.

Have many ministries that I appreciate and may you tune into them as well! Yesterday I was only able to watch a few. ie. Dr. Charles Stanley, Dr. David Jeremiah, Joel Osteen. There may be those of you who would be appreciative of these helpful ministries with their bittids of insights and tidbits.

Also yesterday, I watched the last part of 'Hour of Power' with Bobby Schuller and his guest was Nick Vujicic. Now if any of you think you have obstacles that can not be overcome, turn your ears and eyes and hearts and take in what Nick shares in the video: A total inspiration throughout the world, methinks! WOW! Seek God's Plan

During this next week, Alan and I are treating each and every bit day like a restful 'Sunday' - as in an extra special 'time out' to appreciate and enjoy our bittids of Blessings and also to be Blessings to others.

This morning I particularly enjoyed my breakfast of a half grapefruit, 2 soft boiled eggs and some melba toast with peanut butter. I thought, how awesome to have food on our table, and to enjoy the gentle rays of sunlight in abundance, streaming in through our kitchen windows! And chickadees happily hopping about on the branches! There was such a peace and a calm that infilled me and I gave joyful Thanks to Him! The verses 6 and 7 from Philippians 4 were bits of music to my ears! Verse 6 - ' Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.' Verse 7 - 'And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.'

May He Provide you with a breakthrough of overflowing abundance for the remainder of this year; and then carry forth in the New Year!

I love this photo image as it provides to me such a restful calm, a quiet comfort, and a peaceful refuge of inner strength. Again, INVITE Him IN. He is waiting!

Peace and God Bless.

Be a Blessing to others!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Just six more days til Christmas Day! The tid time goes by quickly enough, but the next few days will just fly by. We are thankful that we have done most of our food shopping for our turkey Christmas meal and the various subsequent left overs! Just have to buy some groceries (sprouts, carrots, potatoes) and that should be plenty!

As mentioned, we have 2 little dogs staying with us and they will be celebrating the Birth of Christ with us. At the bittid moment, we are looking after another wee pup, as of earlier this morning, til later tomorrow (or Sunday) as the young couple (one of our neighbours) were able to get reservations for a 'getaway'. She is expecting their first child in mid February; so this is a holiday, 'away from it all' for them.

Right now, as I type I am listening to Kenneth Copeland's DVD ('Christmas Every Day') and the Christmas Carol, 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing' is just booming forth. And then there is 'O Holy Night' and Kenneth's wonderful gift of a voice He has been Blessed with, is awesome! The 2 wee 'lads' just love the music! Very calming, joyful, and peaceful. One of the 2 dogs, is a 15 yr old pug and he is on his last legs. We are Prayful that he will still be alive when picked up later in the month and we are doing our bittidz best to make him as comfortable as possible.

However, the owners and us agree that 'they should not put their lives on hold' as one does not know the eventual timing. So a bit of tidbitz, is to simply go for it! It was a 3 week trip that had been planned for a long time. The little dog who just recently arrived, will be a good pal with the younger dog and most likely they will wear each other out with their playing!

Yesterday when we were at the little Produce Store, I met an older lady. For whatever reason, I smiled at her and she smiled back. (It costs nothing to smile and a smile can be a 'door of hope' to someone else. You just never know). I discerned that she had a sadness. As it happens her husband, at age 83 years, is in a care facility and she is now living on her own (which is a major adjustment). She does her best to see him every other day, if not every day. She has 7 grown children (2 sons and 5 daughters) and a number of grandchildren and she was at a Christmas School Play, cheering on her grandson. I asked her what Nationality she was, as she spoke with an accent. She told me and I immediately replied, that we were brought up in a 'European household' and that we are all the more appreciative of what goes into Christmas. She heartily agreed. Not knocking anyone, but there are tidbit similarities in European style and of the 'old world' way of doing things. She knew what I meant and she nodded appreciatively. In fact, her eyes totally lit up; they shone!

While at the store, we picked up a bag of sweet potatoes (they were 'on special' in the dollar bin) and I offered to give her a couple of the potatoes but she gracefully declined. However, it did not stop there. I sensed she needed a hug (I did phrase it by saying, 'I think you may need a hug, but maybe you would not like a hug?' Her immediate reply was: "I certainly do need a hug, more than ever!'). So we gave each other a genuine hug and the whole store noticed it and they ALL smiled; and everyone said "Merry Christmas!' to each other. It was quite a neat experience. And it all started with a simple smile AND to a total stranger!

I hope to run into this woman again, as I had an empathy and a compassion for her. Our parents went through their hoops with unwell spouses; so Alan and I both have the understanding of how it feels to be without a loved one. ie. a Spouse.

Tidbit - Have compassion and empathy for others. Also, when you become a 'certain age' it could be you, who is in need of a hug and a kind word of comfort, along with uplifting encouragement. Actually at any age, at any time is good!

Bittid - As Christ says: "Love one another as I have loved you."

Our kind neighbour, the one who arrived on our doorstep with 'dinner' (as mentioned in the earlier post), brought us a delicious homemade dessert as a thank you. Alan helped them with their garage door, as it was not closing. Alan makes various soups and always gives them batches and they love it. So, 'Love thy neighbour, as thyself.' 'Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.'

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and may 2015 be the best year yet for us all! This is a time for families and close friends to get together. However, it does not always work that way. Regardless, continue and endure to be of good cheer and to have a joyful countenance! Be a Blessing to all those you meet! And do not forget to say THANK YOU to Him; particularly at this special time of year!

I am including these wonderful bittid photo images and may these pictures encourage more tidbit sharing and caring of both the Christmas Spirit and celebrating the Gift of GRACE, and the Message of the GOOD NEWS!

Peace and God Bless.

Tuesday 16 December 2014

Be lights of encouragement to others!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Today is the 16th of December! We have been taking care of various dogs and these 'doggone' days have zoomed by! So this has been the first opportunity I have had to write my next post.

Have decorated our wee home a bit and as mentioned in the post of December 4th, the Christmas Spirit is permeating throughout the house. The 'pups' even feel the peace, the joy, and the love. We look forward to this being the best Christmas ever!

Mid last week, in the tid middle of the night, I was 'guided' to get up and read some Bible passages starting from Matthew 6, verses 25 to 34: ' The Cure for Anxiety'. The message is empowering! Basically do not be anxious for food, drink, or clothing as He Provides. Plus, a BIG PLUS - see in verse 33: " But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." All these verses and that one tidbitz verse gives me a major comfort!

As mentioned, we have experienced (like again, who hasn't?) our tids of ups and downs. However, since having read that tidbit passage as well as a few others (which I will include in a bittid), we have received some wonderful Blessings! A couple of situations that we have been Praying for, are starting to overflow with good tidings in abundance! Certain things that we have had no choice but to simply and patiently 'wait', are now coming to fruition!!! Verse 26: "Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?"

Also, other gleaned messages from Matthew 7, verses 1-6: 'Concerning Judging Others', as well as verses 7 - 12 as in 'Encouragement to Pray' and also verses 13 - 28: ' Ways Contrasted Fruits Contrasted'. The verses 13 & 14 - 'Enter by the narrow gate, for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it.' 'For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.'

Also, last week, one of our neighbours brought us over a meal, and it was just at that bittidz time, when we were thinking as to what would we have for dinner? Just literally 'out of the blue', our friend appeared on our doorstep saying: "Here is your dinner!"

With the Christmas season upon us, as mentioned in the earlier post, Christmas can be a very sad and bleak time for many. I am Prayful that today's post provides you with bits of uplift and encouragement. Seek Him out and it is amazing how your life changes - for the better OR RATHER, FOR THE BEST!!!! Be ongoing and confidently EXPECTING in FAITH and TRUST in Him to ALWAYS Provide! When things appear to be a bittid uncertain or not adding up to you, 'Cast all your cares upon Him' and let Him carry your burdens. ALSO, give Him THANKS and when you say it OUT LOUD, that really bolsters your spirits, from the 'inside out!'

Am presently listening to 'Christmas Every Day' Christmas Carols, sung by Kenneth Copeland. He has been Blessed with such a wonderful voice. Music is very uplifting and soothing to the soul, isn't it? Have also really appreciated both his and Gloria's 'down to earth' ministry. A heartfelt Thank you, to them! Also, for those of you who wish a tidbit of Good Cheer, get in touch with them; and they will send you this special Christmas DVD for FREE! The little 'pups' who are with us presently appear to enjoy the joyful sounds of music as well! LOL!

Also in closing, Isaiah 40, verses 1-31- "The Greatness of God' provides many encouraging insights! I love the following verses on Strength!
Verse 29: 'He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.'
Verse 31:
'Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary."

Peace and God Bless.

Thursday 4 December 2014

Be of extra good cheer and a light this Christmas!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

As I mentioned, we (like everyone else at tid times) have experienced ups and downs. As of late, it has been more on the downside of the ledger, than an 'up'- in the sense that certain things we have been working towards, would appear on the bit surface, to be into 'slow mo.' However, we choose to keep our eyes focused upwards and upon Him; and to continue onwards to have the attitude of gratitude and simply trust Him to Provide.

Alan and I believe in His Promise of Provision full heartedly! Not only that, but we have also been on the 'receiving end' of 'Answer to Prayer.' One of the best tidbit answers being, that Alan and I wonderfully met 12 years ago in 'Answer to Prayer.' Our 12th anniversary is coming up on December 10th, the same day that my parents celebrated their marriage. Have shared a few bittid posts about how Alan and I met and so forth, should you wish to refer to them.

That being said, we are here in the here and now. We remain stoicly steadfast in Faith in Him and we know that He has an awesome Purpose and Plan for us. We are living in 'uncertain' times and we choose to continue to be thankful for our daily Blessings and live in accordance with His Will. We are looking forward to celebrating Christ's Birth and that is more than enough! He IS our refuge and strength!

As of late, in the 'secular' world, we have had a few tidbitz things go sideways and / or put on hold. As the bittidz expression goes: 'Everything is Timing.' Well, everything is to be in His Timing. We know that we can not rely on ourselves and also, that we are absolutely NOTHING without Christ. All things are possible with God and we can do all things in trust through Him. Philippian 4:13 - "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Therefore, we must have TRUST in the UNSEEN and in His Supernatural miracles!

Today, we received a free DVD from the Kenneth Copeland Ministries and Kenneth has been Blessed with such a gift of a wonderful singing voice. A heartfelt thank you to them and their ministry! We also received today a beautiful Christmas card (our first one) from some dear friends. It may be amongst the few cards we receive, and we are thankful for the true friendship. Would rather have a few friends and know that, indeed, they are loyal and genuine.

Was not sure whether I was going to put out some decorations this year. We also have a couple of wee dogs coming to stay with us over the Christmas season; so that partly factored into my thinking. But then today, when we received both the Christmas DVD and the Christmas card, that altered my thoughts and changed things! We won't have many decorations, but enough to enjoy a joyful Christmas with a spirit of thanksgiving and celebration! Plus methinks, the wee pups will feel a part of the spirit of Christmas as well. We have 2 small stockings and in those we will put a couple of treats for them for Christmas morning. Therefore, we will enjoy a Merry little Christmas with each other and the 2 pups. Our door too, is open to family, friends and neighbours (and dogs) who choose to stop by.

Tidbit - Regardless of your circumstances, know that they are only temporary. What matters to Christ is, is the contents of your heart. Things or 'stuff' is not what defines you, should you be 'down and out' at times. What defines you is your inner character and the grit to be steadfast in Faith and Trust in Him. Honour Him and He will Honour you.

Bittid - CHOOSE to have an attitude of gratitude and thanks towards Him; all the more so, when the 'chips are down.' Be resilient with that inner resolve.

In closing, Christmas can be a very very sad time for many. That being said, we have empathy and understanding for those who are suffering. I hope that this post will help encourage and uplift those who are feeling discouraged or even discarded. Be a 'light' to others.

Take stock and be of good cheer, in knowing that Jesus loves you unconditionally! It is not too late, to INVITE Him into your heart! You will be amazed as a new person in Christ, as He equips you with a new lease and resolve, on how you live your life

The ministries too, that I have recently referred to, are excellent with their solid teachings of Christ and the Word of the Bible. Also, as an extra tidbit of info, do not allow Satan to deceptively steal your dreams or your joy! INSTEAD, appreciate and treat each and every every day as if it were a brand new canvas, such as a 'mini' Christmas of thanksgiving! As a further weapon against Satan, ALWAYS give Christ thanks! Saying it out loud, really helps too!

I like this photo image that shows a bittid of encouragement! Stay the course and continue having HOPE, as well!

Peace and God Bless.

Tuesday 2 December 2014

There is always HOPE!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

First of all, we have so many daily Blessings to be thankful for! Thank you Our Father! Praise Him in all things!

Currently, it is 22 degrees F and the skies are totally glorious! It will be another sunny gorgeous day with a horizon of blue. The sun appears to be giving off a brilliant golden hue everywhere this morning. We received our first snowfall a few tid days ago and the rooftops and lawns are now a vast vista of white patterned blankets.

Our beautiful magnolia tree now leafless, is sprouting up thriving pussy willow buds and the sparrows, the chickadees, the thrushes just love flocking to this big old tree. There was a chickadee that was chirping and hopping on the magnolia branches just bit moments ago, right outside our window. This is one of God's wonderful creations!

We also have a hummingbird (turquoise / greenish colouring; shimmers in the sunshine!) and for the last few days, it has literally 'stopped' for a few seconds in mid air app a foot away from me. It was like a mini bittidz hovering helicopter. Another awesome and rare tidbitz Blessing! Plus in various parts of our house with the rays of sunshine streaming in, there are mini tids of rainbows showing up on the walls. Bright and peaceful!

Am appreciating my 'elixir' of coffee this am and reflecting with good cheer upon all our Blessings. To us, each and every day is a 'mini' Thanksgiving. It has been another interesting week and again, we have experienced our ups and downs; but then, who doesn't? Methinks, it is a matter of attitude as to how one addresses and lives each day. It is a decision that one has to make. One can be sour and bitter etc OR, take on 'an attitude of gratitude' and CHOOSE to be of genuine good cheer in spirit, no matter what. When you invite Christ into your heart and have a grateful heart of thanksgiving, it is amazing how much better the bits of the day unfolds.

Have also been watching various ministries on the TV. Here are a few more that I appreciate and enjoy: 'One Faith to Live By', 'Tomorrow's World', and Peter Youngren of World Impact Ministries. Peter Youngren has just recently been given a mega opportunity, an open door if you will, to do the first 24/7 Gospel TV in the World's largest Islamic city. Good on him!

Yesterday early evening, I watched and listened to John Hagee's empowering message, 'Surviving the Storm.' Alan and I can identify totally with what he shares. Again, thank you to all the ministries who have made such an inspirational impact, not only to me, but throughout the world!

Also, as I was reading the Bible, I came across Psalm 138 (the page literally fell open!) - 'Thanksgiving for the Lord's Favor." There are NO coincidences! I love all the 8 verses; and the last one is of such strong comfort! Verse 8 - "The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Thy lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Thy hands."

Tidbit - Make your mind up to just surrender your will to Him. He Provides as per His Promise. You may not always have an Answer to Prayer right away, but ultimately, you do.

Presently, Alan and I are in the 'waiting' and we KNOW that Our Father KNOWS what is best for us. So we trust His Purpose, even if we do not know what the Purpose is. However, from past experiences, we can look back with appreciation and see that He has answered our Prayers; albeit differently at bittid times. It has been for the tidbit best. We are abiding in Him and we look forward to His Provision, as per His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan!

Bittid - Always seek WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING. It helps while you 'wait' in TRUST and FAITH in Him to Guide and Direct your daily journey.

Lest we forget, Christ's last instruction to us, was to 'Go Ye into all the world and share the messge of the Good New!'

This bittid photo image is very similar to 'our' tidbit hummingbird!

Peace and God Bless.

A Renewed Mind!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Am calling the title of today's post, 'A Renewed Mind'. Actually each and every day should be like a wake up call, with always wanting to renew and refresh one's mind with wisdom and understanding.

On Sunday morning, I watched a few more of my favourite ministries. One of them being, Kenneth Copeland Ministries. Gloria Copeland was talking about 'Walking in Love' and not allowing stress or strife to rule our lives. Also, when you forgive those who have done you wrong, mistreated you, and so forth, you are set free! I recommend you tune into her message online, as she is right on! She shares about having a 'renewed mind' and her tidbits are full of wisdom and inspiration!

Even with what happened in Ferguson yesterday evening and then watching the news today and hearing the bittids of encouragement from various pastors, clergy members, and residents; who spoke up in LOVE for one another. Genuine Prayers to Our Saviour and righteousness is a proactive must! It does not help to resort to violence; it only leads to wrong doing. ie. Burning and trashing businesses. Rather, leave everything and all consequences to Him to resolve! He has overcome the world!

Therefore take solid stock in His Word and place your trust and faith in Him to overcome! Also, those who have not been transparent with the tid truth, He knows ALL. Let Him Provide the Solution / Reconciliation, as 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.' As Christ says: 'Love one another, as I have loved you." There is always hope and it is not too late to invite Him into your heart. When that bit happens, you change and you are guided and directed by the Holy Spirit to live your life in accordance with His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan.

As I was searching for the online tidbitz message that Gloria Copeland gave, I came across today's message of hope from Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. Methinks, there are no bittidz coincidences; and may this video uplift and touch many hearts!

.

I like this photo image with its empowering message, that 'Love conquers aLL.'

Peace and God Bless.

P.S. Let us daily Pray for Wisdom and Understanding!

'Thy Will Be Done!'

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It has been a bit since I last wrote a tidbitz post. A lot has been happening around the world. Revelation is on its way, folks.
For those of you, who do not want to be 'left behind', invite Christ now genuinely into your hearts. It is not too late! We believe that Alan and I will be raptured amongst those who are also in Christ.

Have been appreciating the various ministries on T.V. with their teachings; to name just a wonderful few, who have truly helped in our Faith Building in Christ. A hearty THANK YOU! to them!. ie. Dr. Charles Stanley, Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. John Hagee, Hal Lindsey, Joel Osteen, Sid Roth, Rhonda Lazerte, Joyce Meyer, Charles Price, Doug Batchelor, the Van Impes, etc. For the past few mornings, I have been watching Andrew Wommack and he is presently giving an awesome series on Financial Stewardship. He is right on with his sermon!

There was / is an inspirational testimony about a couple who experienced their share of challenges and yet by their Faith in Christ, they survived. Today they are helping the homeless and hungry, by providing truckloads of food to all those who are in need in their area. Not only that, they are assisting other ministries to also provide food to those less fortunate. The couple's mission is that they will not turn anyone away because of their circumstances and / or just because they have need of food.

Also, I have been watching the program 'International Fellowship of Christians and Jews of Canada.' My heart goes out to them as well. As well as to the 'unthinkable' of what is going on in Israel, the Ukraine and throughout other parts of the world. These events are all happening (and quickly) according to the Bible Prophesy; as in Revelation! And good on our Prme Minister, Stephen Harper, for his stand in instructing Putin to 'Get out of the Ukraine!'

Over the last 7 years, I have been writing a blog; and it would appear. that it now has a life of its own. My blog started out as a journal; but now the Purpose is to uplfit and encourage all those who read my posts. More importantly, I am being directed by the Holy Spirit, Who, IS my 'Inspiration' to continue writing posts that will empower and compel others to turn their lives over to Christ.

Alan and I have also had our share of 'trials and tribulations.' Still do; but you know, we are making it through the 'gymnastic' hoops; one day at a time. We are constantly growing in our daily walk in Christ; as well as being appreciative for our Blessings! Re: Andrew Wommack, he shares in his message, to turn everything over to the Kingdom of God. That includes your finances; and more importantly, when there is the lack of finances. Best to tune into his very down to earth ministry. We have had a number of hurdles and if it was not for our Faith and Trust in Him to Provide on a daily basis, the consequences would have been far worse.

The couple I was mentioning, apparently were treated like lepers; as they had no money and so forth. Hence them being despised, rebuked, scorned, mocked, etc. For those of you who have been through it, or are going through it, this 'tid' can be endless. We ourselves, have had first hand experience and as a tidbit, you have to 'stay the course in the good fight' and know the difference between good and evil; or what is right and wrong. To take a stand for what is good and right. Also a bittidz, do not 'judge a book by its covers.'

Last week, we had a 'miracle'. We turned everything (again) over over to Him. ie. Casting all our cares upon Him and leaving the consequences to Him. He can do all things; on our own, we simply can not. I just Prayed and Prayed and Prayed; and quoted some favourite Bible passages (powerful ones and outloud!) by saying the verses, then followed by my words: "Done! Thank You as per Thy Promise.Thy Will Be Done!" I love the verse Mark 11:24 'Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you." I quoted that mighty verse pretty much non stop! I also say daily to Him that I 'Seek Wisdom and Understanding.'

As a tidbit, we have found / are finding, that by turning everything over to Him (including our finances), in other words, 'Seeking the Kingdom of God first', that we have been / are receiving wonderful Blessings. (as if they 'fell out of the sky'). This Trust in Him, has given us a resiliency and a resolve to continue to continue to being steadfast in our daily journey.

As a closing bittid, I hope this post has helped those of you, who are curious about Christ. Or, who wish to genuinely Seek Him and welcome Him into you hearts. He loves each and every one of us. Know that, He loves you and wants you to be a part of His family! The magnificent Bible verse from John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son. that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life in His Father's Kingdom."

I love this bittid photo image. It radiates such a calm and comfort to my soul. 'Thy Will Be Done!' is so very true! If we can all do that, life would be much simpler!

Peace and God Bless.

Kindness!!!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Well, we are now heavily into the Fall season! Rainy and blustery days and yet; the trees are so magnificent with all their rich and vivid colours! A major Blessing! I like all the Seasons, but I always have thought that Autumn is 'special!'

We turned our clocks back last night and what a tidbit treat to have an 'extra' hour today! Makes one stop and ponder reflectively and to also be joyfully thankful for all our Blessings! 'Praise Him in ALL Things!' Recently we were given a 'gift' of kindness by some good friends, and we are still rejoicing in their 'generosity of spirit!'

This morning I watched 'In Touch Ministries' on T.V; and Dr.Charles Stanley's www.intouch.org/broadcast/this-week-on-tv‎ message on 'Kindness' is totally awesome and also full of encouragement! I recommend you tune into his tidbits of good cheer!

Also, another good friend of ours just shared with us the following wonderful bittids from Andrew Wommack Ministries. news.awmi.net.

REJOICE IN THE LORD - ALWAYS
John 16:33 - "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

JOHN 16:33

"The world experiences joy and happiness in direct proportion to their circumstances. Bad circumstances produce depression and sorrow, while good circumstances produce joy and peace. That's bondage, and does not have to be the case for a Christian. Our joy is not dependent on things, but rather on the person of Jesus Christ. He is our peace and joy.

The way we take advantage of this joy and peace in the midst of tribulation, is to have our minds and hearts stayed on things above and not on things of this earth. The invisible things of God are eternal while the visible problems on earth are only temporary. All the problems of this life grow very dim when we compare them to the glory of God that is ours through Jesus.

We can rejoice in the Lord always (Phil. 4:4) because rejoicing is an action, not a reaction to our environment. Joy is a gift from God that was given to us at salvation. It was placed within our born-again spirit and it doesn't fluctuate or diminish; it is constant. The Lord has put the joy inside us and we are to "work it out" by choosing to obey this command in scripture.

We are commanded to rejoice "IN THE LORD." Many people are not experiencing true joy because their joy is in their circumstances. That is, they are waiting to rejoice when things in their lives are going good, and that doesn't happen very often. We are suppose to "rejoice in the Lord always."

That means we are supposed to rejoice in who the Lord is and what He has done for us. He never changes (Heb. 13:8) and His mercies and compassions are new every morning (Lam. 3:22-23)"

Tidbit - This is so tid true. Everything on earth, is temporary. So make the best of each and every day you have been given!

Bittid - Always be thankful, in all bit circumstances!

A heartfelt 'thank you' to true friendship. We may not have many 'friends', but we are grateful for the few close ones; for we know they are genuine. That is a comfort and a joy to us!

We have a small 'guest room' and I will be 'decluttering' it today, so as to make it 'ready' for any special friend who may 'show up' on our doorstep now and / or over the holidays. Right now, the room is full of boxes of 'stuff', that needs to be gone through. Items from both Alan's and my parents. Methinks one has to be 'in the mood' to go through these various momentos; as it can be quite an emotional endeavour. So today is the 'chosen' day! Plus it is pouring with rain and this is a great day to 'rest' and to ENJOY the 'puttering', being thankful, and joyful all the while!

We will be having a full week coming up; so today is the perfect bittid day to 'recharge the batteries.' Rememberance Day is fastly approaching as well; and this particular year is all the more special to us, to 'remember' our innumerable Blessings over the years.

In closing, a majestic Thank You to Our Heavenly Father!!! Also to all those who have extended us a genuine hand of friendship and kindness over the years. That includes our parents who raised us. Fortunately, I have many wonderful and appreciative memories of my childhood. Also as a child, I used to always say to my parents, 'I'm a wucky wucky girl!'

Although, I do not know the actress, 'Betty White', I think her attitude is very positive and 'spunky'and that is how I plan to live the rest of my life. Taking delight in the simple things and enjoying and being appreciative for our daily Blessings. A big heartfelt thanks too, to the ministries for sharing their messages of the 'Good News!'

Also, my daughter's birthday is tomorrow and I am thinking where has the bittidz time gone? All these years and now both she and my son, each have their own respective families and their own lives. We are happy for them!

I love this tidbitz photo image, of what appears to be a peaceful and welcoming warmth!

Peace and God Bless.

Growing in our daily walk / in Him!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

To recap a tidbitz. It has been an over subscribed week of activity! Ups and downs. All the more to turn to Our Heavenly Father for His Help through the valleys.

Alan and I live very simple lives; and yes, there have been a few hiccups along the way. However, we are in the process of resolving 'stuff.' We have experienced many a 'trial and tribulation' (we still are) but we are totally thankful for our daily Blessings, regardless. This is all temporary anyway; and as long as we keep our eyes focused upwards upon Him (as the Bible says: 'Be still, and know that I am God') we know where our glorious permanent address will be!

Having hit the youthful and 'wise age' (LOL!), I am grateful. Going to make the bittidz best of each and every moment of each and every day! We are only here once, before we move on to other things. ie. Life is too short. Don't you find that the days are turning over very quickly! Scary almost. Now that both my children have their own children! I am glad, but yikes, that makes me think a tid, 'How old am I?' LOL! Things our parents said and did (thinking I would never say or do those things), well, I guess it is all part of the 'age game' as I am finding I say and do certain things now! LOL! We are not over the hill; but we have done a lot of reflection. A reflection of 'mini' thanksgivings every day. Also, because of various obstacles we have had to go through / endure steadfastedly, we have become 'stronger' within. There is more empathy and understanding towards our fellow man, because of our experiences.

Our parents brought us up with the 'Golden Rule' - "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

For the last number of years, I have been keenly aware of that 'Golden Rule.' However, now, more so than ever! Matthew 7: verses 1-6 have also really been coming to mind; particularly since this past Thanksgiving. Verse 1 - "Do not judge lest. you be judged." And verses 4 & 5 about taking the 'speck / log' out of one's own eye first, before being critical of someone else. We have not walked in others' shoes.

Sadly a wonderful friend of ours recently passed away. We have come across certain situations that we have observed and all we have is empathy and compassion. Those who have mistreated or wronged me (or Alan), I / we have forgiven. When I 'screw up' I am the first one to admit / apologize. This particular friend's partner, who used to be a very close friend of mine, has not been as true a friend to us. However, the verse about the 'speck or log' in one's eye really hit me squarely between the eyes. That bit being said, with our friend's passing, my heart took over. In the sense, I knew the right tidbit thing to do, was to send a note of condolence to her. She replied back with an appreciative thanks.

Tidbit - Rise above things and act with Grace. The Holy Spirit gives you Truth.

Bittid - Be an uplift of encouragement to all those you meet. Forget about your circumstances, and go out of your way, to be of genuine 'good cheer' to others.

So, from now on, I am not going to be critical of anyone. We do not know what shoes others have walked in.

However, if someone purposefully goes out of their way to cause me / us major grief or harm, that is a different story. Whether I rebut or admonish at the time or when there is an opportunity. Or I can turn the other cheek. And / or knowing that I have done my best, I can go 'to the edge of town, shake the dust off my sandals, and walk away.' I can not force genuine friendship. However, our door is always open.

Life is far too short. I believe that Revelation could happen at any bittid time; so we have to be 'ready!!!' Invite Him into your heart!

We have 'Timmy' (a Jack Russell) back again, and he is coming tomorrow morning and going home Sunday. He should be on T.V. He is so smart! We are learning a lot of bittids from the dogs! LOL!

Had a small miracle happen earlier in the week and that gave us an uplift.

We had quite the fierce storm. It blew over our patio umbrella and the steel bracket BROKE in two! (We think it fatigued). Yesterday when we were doing our 'rounds' (filling our larder etc), we found another umbrella ('as is where is' - a 'second') with pole, but without the bottom stand. It worked out perfectly as we already have the stand at home. The price was right for $19.95 and it was the last umbrella on the floor!

Our country, Canada, is devastated by the recent shooting on Parliament Hill. The young man killed, sounded like a wonderful person and he had a young son. What a tragedy! And here is this 'person', shooting the man in the back, what a coward! Should not have happened anyway, but shot in the back? Also, kudos to the Sergeant at Arms in the House! Fast acting and calmly handled! He deserves a medal, as does the young man whose life was taken in such a manner.

I love this photo image! It provides me with tidbits of calm, of comfort, of solace, and of peace.

Peace and God Bless.

Always Give Him Thanks!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

The days are zooming by as per tid usual, since my last post.
That being said, we were thankful it was the weekend again!

Yesterday morning I was outside early (in between rainfalls) to pick some more tidbitz cherry tomatoes. They are still green; but they will ripen indoors in our colander. Thought they are better inside, rather than taking on the pouring rain! There are still more cherry tomatoes on the vine and those will be rescued as well.

When I was outside, it was wonderfully peaceful and tranquil. Birds flying about (some were Northern Flickers; and sadly I was not able to get a photo of them); but I can appreciate why there are ornithology organizations that follow rare birds around the globe. It was quite exciting to see these particular birds in and amongst the thick protective foliage of the magnolia tree. There are bittidz blooms resembling pussy willows that are now appearing on this magnificent tree. As well as blooms on our rhodo. As mentioned we have lots of thriving life in our bittid garden. We are also Blessed daily and at dusk with several flocks of Canada Geese that either fly near and / or right over our home.

Also, yesterday, we enjoyed a really nice and quiet day of restful puttering and thankful reflection. We are heartily grateful for the bountiful provision of many turkey leftovers. I enjoyed a turkey sandwich with homemade cranberry sauce and gravy for lunch; and then for our dinner, we savoured Alan's delicious turkey soup.

Alan has given some of the tasty soup away to various neighbours. One of them, being a lovely Philippino family who live down the street. They were ecstatic yesterday when Alan brought some of the turkey soup over to them. When we were looking after Shadow (the Great Dane / Black Lab cross), Alan would walk past their home with Shadow and since then, there has been a friendship. Also, when he gives the soup away, he suggests that water can be added to stretch it even further and / or just add more barley and veggies to the mix.

For dessert, I baked up some bananas, with sprinklings of brown sugar, butter, and lemon rinds. If I do say so myself, they were scrumptious! Alan picked up a wonderful bunch of bananas from our local grocery store, with fresh produce. Perhaps, you remember or know of the tidbit expression: 'Waste not, want not' Well, the store owner wisely provides a section, as in a 'dollar bin'; as he does not like wastage. And nor do we.

I extra appreciated the cup of tea (I have cut back on my coffee) that Alan brings to me each morning. This morning, I stayed in bed to watch a couple of my favourite TV ministries. One of them is Jack Van Impe Presents. He and his wife, Rexella, are right on with their thoughts and insights of what is Biblically happening now!
www.jvim.com/tv/

Then I watched Living Truth with Charles Price. Both he and his wife, Hilary, were in Northern Iraq, sharing the message of the Bible to those people in their native Arabic language. I think that is totally awesome! Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world, to those who have a hunger and a thirst to know more!
www.livingtruth.ca/
You can read the entire article and / or watch the inspirational video - 'For the Kingdom of God.'

I recommend that you tune into these 2 ministries! A heartfelt thank you to them both for their enlightening tidbits!

It is truly tragic about the epidemic of Ebola. We are Prayful that Canada is successful in its cure for this devastating disease. As well as the ongoing assistance of the Canadian government, in providing masks, medical equipment and so forth.

The Ebola, Isis etc has distracted us from the ongoing horrors and evils in the Ukraine and in the Crimean, sponsored by Putin. DO NOT IGNORE the bittids of Russian manoeuvres.

A Russian sub was found to be in the waters just off Sweden. Hmmmm and the Russians are denying that! Why? Also, interesting that a Russian cargo / container ship was 'driting' off Haida Gwaii, off our British Columbia coast? Naturally, our coast has its severe weather related ocean storms; however, methinks this is a tid unusual?

These photos are of our rhodo with its gorgeous blooms. You can view the stages. Each bit bloom is a striking fuschia colour and then it transforms into a a soft pink / white. As well as a tomato plant, that has 'sprung up' amidst our red supertunia flowers. Most likely some bit seeds were pollinated and / or carried by the insects, birds, and the wind. Pretty incredible!

Also here is a photo of dear Shadow, taken in August 2013, when he was 15 months old. Plus, a photo image of a 'Northern Flicker' should you not have seen this beautiful bird.

Am thankful for all the ministries, who give so generously of their time and resources to help spread the Message of the Good News!!

Here is a TV photo image of Charles Price that I was inspired to take a few years ago while watching his program. Again, we think it is awesome that both he and Hilary share the Gospel as they are throughout the world! When Charles was sharing today, about him being on TV and appearing to 'speak' in Arabic tongue, this reminded me of the photo I took!

In closing, continue to be steadfast in Faith, Hope, and Trust in Christ. He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. We have so much to be thankful for and always, Give Him Thanks, and Praise Him in ALL things.

Peace and God Bless.

The Holy Spirit Guides and Directs!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

To recap a bittid, we had one of the best Thanksgivings ever! Everything was perfect! This year we decided to cook our turkey for Saturday evening and to keep everything simple. There was only Alan and I for the special dinner, but we have wonderful tidbitz leftovers, and we have been really appreciating all the tasty tidbits!

We have so much to be thankful for! As I mentioned in the last few bittidz posts, we treat each and every day like a 'mini Thanksgiving!' To have an 'attitude of gratitude' in all regards.' Even when things are not 'going your way.' Instead of grumbling and being 'sour', turn your attitude around to be of good cheer and be a genuine uplift to all those you meet! Did you know it takes more than 90 muscles to frown and yet it takes less than 20 muscles to smile?:)

Many little Blessings to be thankful for! We still have flowers and thriving produce in our garden; as well as lots of life. ie. Hummingbirds, honey bees, dragonflies, many birds, wasps, spider webs, all sorts of productive activiity. Our rhodos are blooming again! One is in a beautiful fuschia pink!!! Our hanging baskets are still humming along. Again, thanks to the little flying critters, who seem to pollinate still.

On Sunday (October 12th), I watched a few of my favourite ministries. One of them being 'Living Truth' with Charles Price.
www.livingtruth.ca
I heartily recommend you watch his special message about Thanksgiving! To do so, simply click on to his site and then to ''Our Weekly Video Message'.
His enlightening sermon touched upon a few tidbits that I shared in my recent posts! Methinks, there are NO coincidences here, folks!

I often state outloud the following awesome verses from Philippians 4.
Verse 6 - "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thansgiving let your requests be made known to God."
Verse 7 - "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Charles explains Thanksgiving as well as to Praise Him in all circumstances. That made our Thanksgiving all the more special! Thank you, Charles, for your heartfelt teachings!

I also thankfully acknowledge my readers. One of them recently complimented me on my posts; and wanted some 'pointers' to assist them in being an aspiring blog writer. I do not consider myself as a major writer, but I love writing, and I just write straight from my heart. We have many stories that are worthy to be told and maybe someday, they may be published in a book or even in a block buster movie!

However, I feel that when one is truly compelled to write they should simply do so! Do not be fearful, write what is of genuine interest to you and the rest of the creative bittids will just flow. I know that writers have their muses, their music, settings, whatever, to inspire them to write and that is all good! Love that stuff! However, I ask and I seek. That's right, I ASK and SEEK His help to Guide and Direct the writings in each and all of my posts. What started out as a journal as well as being an encouragement to others, I have found that my posts appear to have a 'life of their own'. ie. You have heard the ad ' 'Let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages'; well in this case, the Holy Spirit is leading my fingers to write uplifting posts and to participate in the sharing of the message of the Good News throughout the world!

The Holy Spirit lives within me and all believers in Christ! If everyone invites Him in, He will never leave and your life will be forever changed, and for the better! You look at things differently, with more of a calm and a confidence, and by Trusting Him as per His Promise, He Provides the rest. Particularly during these times of unrest and uncertainty. All the more imperative to turn to Christ! Again, Revelation is happening, as I write.

In summary, I turn everything over to Him and Verse 6 really helps, particularly when you joyfully and with positive expectation, shout it out loud, with all your heart! You know that He hears your Prayers! Thank Him in advance for His Provision and it shall be so! Leave all the consequences to Him and do not fret or be anxious or have doubts. So for writing tips, ASK Him to guide your thoughts and write away!

I like this photo image where TLC encouragement is given!

Peace and God Bless.

Ongoing Thoughts of Thanksgiving!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Eventhough, it has started to become cool and foggy in the mornings; the afternoons have been gorgeous! Temperatures in the tid 70's! That is usually the start to the day, then followed by tids of warm sunshine. No complaints!

To recap a bittid. Our elderly neighbour enjoyed the tomato soup that Alan made and when he was here last night, he brought over a dessert, which was delicious! Our friend dropped by again earlier this evening, and Alan gave him a bit of spaghetti, sauce, and parmesan cheese for his dinner tonight. He is a lovely man.

It is all about genuine give and take. We have been very fortunate with our neighbours and they have become friends.

As mentioned, we have been doing a lot of decluttering / weeding out of 'stuff.' Our garage is looking much better. We went to the Thrift store earlier today and it was a 'win win' situation for all those concerned!

Also, very recently there was a large garbage bin in our complex; the purpose being to 'declutter stuff.' Amongst the bits of 'throw-aways', there were 3 area rugs in the bin; and we could not believe that they were 'discarded', as they appeared to be in great shape! Particularly, one carpet, which we now have in our family room. It fits the space perfectly! The colours of this beautiful Persian rug look awesome with our furniture! It would seem that the 'frills' on the outer edge of this carpet have gone. Other than that, we can not see any other apparent flaws. The other 2 area carpets are too big for our home; but they will work well in our garage. That is, once we have rearranged, reorganized things, as well as thoroughly sweeping the garage floor. So that is a nice Thanksgiving gift, indeed, methinks!

Also, when we were out earlier in our travels today, we discovered a wonderful Produce Store, a Meat Store, and a Bakery! We look forward to shopping there when timing permits!

We will be cooking up a little turkey for Saturday evening. That way, there will be tidbit leftovers for additional meals. We are appreciative and thankful for our Blessings! As I shared earlier, we had to gracefully decline a kind invitation from some good friends for Sunday. Normally, we would drive the long distance to see our friends; however, at this time, we have had to prudently pass.

Tidbit - Treat each and every day as a 'mini' thanksgiving!

Bittid - Continue to be upliting and to be of 'good cheer' to others, regardless of your circumstances. Remember, your situations are only temporary. When you 'shine' and are genuinely thankful and joyful, others are drawn to you. Do that daily! You never know how much a random act of kindness, a word of encouragement, and / or a gentle smile may ignite and / or mean to someone who may be in major need!

We will enjoy this long weekend as it unfolds! Happy Thanksgiving to all those who are celebrating Thanksiving at this time!

I love this photo image!

Peace and God Bless.

The Rythmic and Constant Tides of Time!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Again, I can not believe how quickly the days go by. 6 days after I last wrote a post!
We have had a full plate and have been wearing several 'hats.'

To reiterate, we have many Blessings to be thankful for! As mentioned, am really looking forward to this particular Thanksgiving! In our travels, we were able to get a small turkey, along with the various trimmings and we will savour that repas on Saturday evening. The rest of the turkey and accompaniments will be enjoyed and appreciated as delicious tidbitz leftovers for a number of meals. Alan will also make up his turkey soup from the bones and that will also serve for some bittidz tasty repas.

We were 'quasi' invited for a Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday, however, we had to gracefully decline. Gas is expensive and the drive is a long one. We are being very prudent and this is not the best timing for us at the moment. However, we are appreciative of the kind invitation from our good friends, who have welcomed us into their 'family' mix. They will re issue an invitation for dinner when the timing is better for us.

At the moment, Alan is making up his infamous spaghetti sauce and combined with a bit of our garden herb produce, it will be awesome! Earlier this week, he made up a batch of tomato soup and he just gave some to our 88 year old neighbour. He loves Alan's soups. Currently, his wife is away on a cruise, so the soup arrived on his doorstep just at the right tid time!

Hamish (the feisty Scottish Shiatsu laddie), left on Monday; after spending a few weeks with us. He is a lovely dog; wonderful personality. This has become his second home.

This past Sunday, I watched some of my favourite ministries and they are so helpful. ie. Dr. Charles Stanley ( www.intouch.org); Joyce Meyer (www.joycemeyer.org); Dr.David Jeremiah ( www.turningpoint.org); and Joel Osteen ( www.joelosteen.com). Those of you who have questions, best to truly tune in to their encouraging and solid teachings and watch the videos.

We have also been doing a lot of 'fall cleaning' and the house is becoming less cluttered. Still have a way to go; but we are getting there. Figure if we do a little bittid each day in that regard, it will ultimately get done.

The same principle applies to Our Heavenly Father. ie. Make sure you give Him some tidbit time. If you are 'busy', make the time, just before you get up and just before you go to sleep. It is amazing by just doing that little thing, how you can be empowered to face the events of the day as they all unfold. If you genuinely give Him time, He will give you time.

My Dad's birthday was yesterday; he would have been 96 years young. There really is not a day that goes by that I do not think about my parents. It is true, that after someone is gone, you then realize the loss. My Dad was an exceptional human being and when my time is up, I know he (and my Mum) will be in Heaven, waiting to greet me. My Dad taught me much; or I am now realizing it more and more. Of course, having Viking roots (as well as Irish), I now have more of an understanding what my parents went through. ie. Raising children, challenges, and so forth.

I was thinking earlier today, that life is like a wave; it comes in and then immediately it is gone. So in a tidbit, make the best of each and every moment you have.

Cherish the bittid moments with friends, neighbours, and family members and for that matter, all those you meet. Life is a journey and I have left everything to Him to Guide and Direct my path, as per His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan. 'Praise Him in ALL Things!'

Never ending, the tide always comes in and always goes out. ie. My parents were young once, had children, grandchildren, and we are now in that tidal rythmical flow of being grandparents. Before too long, my children will be become grandparents, then their offspring. The tides of time are in constant motion. Writing of grandchildren, we were recenlty blessed with a granddaughter, a beautiful little girl! The time does not slow down, it speeds up. So make the best of it!

I love this photo image, that represents such a calm and comfort!

Peace and God Bless.

Thankful Thoughts of Thanksgiving!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It has been a month plus since I last wrote a post. We have been on the go and still are; but I wanted to touch bittidz base. This will be a brief post today. What I can say is, that a lot has happened. It has been a major journey of spiritual growth! Learning lessons always. So it has been wonderfully enlightening in that regard.

With what is going on around the world, Revelation is fast approaching!!! So in a tidbitz nutshell, be ready. Better yet, genuinely invite Christ into your heart and let Him do / provide the rest. You will find that your life will be transformed and yes, you will experience some rough patches, yet know that He is always with you. Once you have accepted Christ into your heart, the Holy Spirit will never leave you.

We have had to deal with many matters as well as making several decisions. However, things have a way of working themselves out. That is, if you Rely upon Christ to guide and direct your path and leave everything to Him. Cast all your cares upon Him. Turn it all over to Him; including your will. He has the best plan for you. For those of you who feel that God is not answering your Prayers or is 'silent', believe that He is working on things for you, and that He Provides the best for you. Again, if you trust Him completely.

The following 2 verses, 4 & 5 from Psalm 37 are an empowering comfort to me.
Verse 4: - " Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart."
Verse 5: - " Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it."

Another verse from Mark 11: 24 - "Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you."

A few bit weeks ago, we had some neighbours over for wine and appies. They brought both and we supplied both. A good evening was had by all. Our friend gave us a terrific tidbit - Put some vinegar out in a small dish and that will keep away the wasps. Well, we have applied that ever since and it has worked! The wasps keep away from both food and drink.

It was a stellar summer this year from our garden fresh produce! We are still enjoying the bittid 'fruits of our labours.' Cherry tomatoes, Sweet Basil, Oregano, Garlic chives, Parsley, Rosemary etc.

Our Canadian Thanksgiving is coming up and we are looking forward to celebrating our Blessings, along with a delicious turkey dinner. Love this tid photo image! We have much to be thankful for! Praise Him in ALL Things!

Peace and God Bless.

Forevermore, your name shall be Satan, the evil one, the deceiver!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

As mentioned yesterday in my August 28th post, There are absolutely NO coincidences!
"The Prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled. Revelation is happening folks, and everything is escalating very quickly. This is a 'wake up call' for the world!"
"Tomorrow, will include a few posts with our sentiments that we shared a bittid while ago. Thought it easier to add them in as they are relevant to what is presently happening throughout various parts of the world."

Am enclosing 3 previous posts that I have written that convey our tidbits of thoughts. In a tidbit nutshell, we must take a united stand against evil ie. Putin, his Russian cronies, Hamas, and now Isis. The nations and countries of the world, must have a unified front and take a stand for what is right! Fight the good fight. Peace talks / cease fires are all well and good; but only if they are kept and honoured. Sadly, by their 'words, actions, and deeds', Putin and his comarades, Hamas, and Isis are condeming themselves. They say one thing, but do another. It is 'business as per usual.'

Putin has supplied the dictatorship in Syria with all of their military equippment, that has subsequently killed (murdered) in excess of 200,000 Syrians. Which has allowed the Isis terrorists to further destabilize Syria and Iraq. Therefore, Putin is complicit in their deaths.

Can appreciate being 'politically diplomatic' in negotiations (world economic trade etc), but the 'enemy' always has another stategy afoot. Simply to usurp and destroy and oppress all those who stand in their way. Would not like to think 'they' are laughing at us; but they are! But at the same time take courage and comfort in knowing that Our Father has the last laugh! He IS the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.

Their LIES and DECEPTION can not continue to be ignored by the world. The foes are counting on the 'mamby pamby' complacency attitude; which simply furthers their vile schemes for their wicked purposes.

Feel that this verse from the Bible is appropriate!
John 8:44 - "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar, and the father of lies."

We ASK and PRAY that the nations and countries of the world, take stock of what is at stake! All those who detest evil, WAKE UP, PRONTO!

Peace and God Bless.

Here are the posts with their bittids.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE UKRAINE, IS WRONG AND EVIL!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

We are very fortunate to live in Canada, where there is democracy, freedom of speech, and choice. We have much to be thankful for. Many Blessings!

Today's bittid however, is a different TIDBIT that I am COMPELLED to share! - WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE UKRAINE, IS WRONG AND EVIL!

We thought the Olympics held in Sochi, was to be a good starting point for Russia to reinvigorate its ties with the rest of the world!

Boy, were we wrong!

Putin has thumbed his nose at the whole world and unfortunately, he has forgotten the tidbitz 'Golden Rule.' "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you." ???
Did you hear that Putin got his maurading rogue biker gangs to set up the initial roadblocks in and around Crimea?

It would appear that the President of Russia, has an insatiable LUST FOR POWER! It also appears that he has a Napoleonic complex and unfortunately, his latest move on the world's chess board, belies his motivation and greed. He has given the rest of the world THE MIDDLE FINGER!

It is imperative that the WORLD stand up against this meglamaniac that has incited an ACT OF WAR against one of its neighbours. THE UKRAINE! Let's not forget Chamberlain!

What is to stop him from doing this again to other neighbours / countries???

Look what happened in Georgia! THIS could happen in the Balkans or anywhere else! We MUST stop the aggression NOW! We are or should be 'OUR BROTHER'S KEEPER?'

For example, there should be a united front to expel Russia from the G-8 and the G-20, as well as being expelled by the IOC. The WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION should sanction Russia and potentially exclude it from any future discussions!

All nations should NOT allow any Russian and / or Russian corporation into their air space. All of their assets should be frozen and any other punitive measures to bring them to heel, should be ENFORCED!

NATO and all its members, should be sending their NAVAL assets to the Crimea in support of Ukraine. It should also take immediate measures to include any Eastern European countries that are not presently in NATO membership!

The United Nations, eventhough it is not as strong a forum as we would like, should also take a vote of all its members so that Russia is fully aware as to how few allies it really has, or which ones! Also, there should be discussion after the vote, to expel them from being a PERMANMENT MEMBER of the Security Council!

We feel for those who are literally being threatened by this evil, including the majority of Russians!

We have seen evil in various disguised forms, wearing different cloaks. DECEPTION and GREED being the worst! If this is not acted upon ASAP, there will be grave consquences to the world, going forward!

We should never forget that the past President of the Ukraine, fled under the 'cover of darkness' last weekend to his overseer (Putin) in Russia!

And by the by, He also appears to have absconded with $39 Billion U.S dollars! As well as leaving $13 Million behind at his residence! Duh!
.
Again, all those who oppose evil, must act NOW and take a stand for what IS right; NOT wrong! What IS good, NOT evil!

We implore any and everyone who reads this, to contact their MP, their MLA, anyone in authority to encourage them to take all necessary bittidz measures they can, to implement all of the ABOVE!

Our hearts go out to all the magnificent peoples of the world and the citizens of the world, that unfortunately are ruled / manipulated / abused by DESPOTS or egotistical POWER HUNGRY DICTATORS!

Our Heavenly Father KNOWS ALL. Remember there IS an etermal address. HEAVEN or HELL. Which address do YOU want, for your self, your loved ones, and your treasured famlies and friends???

PEACE AND GOD BLESS.

Take a stand for what is right!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Am really appreciating my elixir (coffee) this overcast morning. The forecast is for heavy rainfall or even snow, depending where one lives. That bittidz being said, am glad it is Saturday morning and a tid time to recharge our batteries.

Earlier this morning, we were watching the TV and it would appear that there is something 'missing' about the MH370 airplane that vanished 15 days ago. We feel for the poor families; and for them not knowing the whereabouts of their loved ones. I Pray that if there are any nations and / or resources that can be brought to bear to answer the puzxle of its disappearance, that they should come forward. To bring closure to all families and nations that are distraught with not knowing the truth.

Also, we hold steadfastedly true to our thoughts in my March 2nd post: WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE UKRAINE, IS WRONG AND EVIL! . What is going on there, is bad news! If it is of any tidbitz comfort, God is watching ALL of this and at the end of the day, where will 'their' eternal resting place be? Hmmmmm.
Blessed be our Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, for taking a strong stand for what is right! The courage as one of the G-7, in defense of the Ukraine; and standing up to the little man, Putin, of Russia!

Yesterday, I read some some more bittids on COURAGE. May these quoted tidbits from Dr. Stanley, uplift and encourage all those involved with the MH350, the Ukraine etc.

"Gaining Courage in Tough Times
When you face a hardship in life, is fear the first emotion you feel? It doesn’t have to be. Read the article, by Charles F. Stanley
www.intouch.org/

When you face a hardship in life, is fear the first emotion you feel? It doesn’t have to be. We can respond in faith regardless of our circumstances. Remember, courage isn’t just an attitude of toughness or determination. It is a quality of mind and spirit that enables us to meet the challenges of life with peace.

Here are four important things to do when facing life's trials:

1. Be aware of God's presence.

The most important thing to realize through any hardship or temptation is that God is with you. While other people may desert you, the Lord never will.

Remember what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit: “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you” (John 14:16-17). Once we trust Christ as our Savior, the Holy Spirit will always be with us, no matter what.

2. Draw from God's strength.

Stressful circumstances can drain us emotionally, physically, and spiritually, thereby making us more vulnerable to satanic attacks. Another key to facing any difficulty with courage is to draw from the Lord’s strength.

As Jesus said, the Father sent the Holy Spirit to help us. The Spirit is third person of the Godhead, and He dwells within every born-again believer, providing divine power for living the Christian life. Through Him we gain discernment and spiritual wisdom. He strengthens us physically and guides our emotions as we submit to His leading.

3. Yield to His purpose.

When Paul stood before the Roman tribunal to give his defense, he knew their authority amounted to nothing compared to the power of God. He also knew his suffering was for a specific purpose. The apostle said, “The Lord stood with me and strengthened me in order that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished and that all the Gentiles might hear” (2 Tim. 4:16-17, emphasis added).

Paul, knowing the Lord is always near, realized he could yield to the Father’s will. It wouldn’t be the tribunal’s decision whether or not to take his life; it would be God’s. Because Paul trusted the Lord’s plan, he was able to give one of the greatest defenses of the faith ever proclaimed. His suffering served a purpose—to share the message of the risen Savior with the Gentiles, and eventually the world.

We need to know our suffering is not in vain. God sometimes allows affliction in order to accomplish His purposes, which include demonstrating to the world His faithfulness through our lives. Hardship gives us the chance to say, “Let me tell you about the Lord. He is the source of my strength, faith, perseverance, and endurance. He’s the One enabling me to go through this.”

4. Meditate on His Word.

There is one other thing that can keep our spirits up during difficult times—God’s Word. Paul specifically asked Timothy to bring his books and parchments when he was on trial in Rome (2 Tim. 4:13). While nobody knows for certain, those books were possibly early writings of the gospel (or some portion of it) and the parchments referred to Hebrew Scripture.

In spite of the sermons Paul preached, the churches he established, and the profound knowledge he had, he was just as normal as any of us. He needed the living Word of God to remind him of the truth and provide encouragement. When we encounter hardships in life, reading Scripture on a daily basis protects our hearts and minds.

Our Choice

No one chooses to go through times of pain and sorrow in life. But we can choose our response. We can decide to pray, “Father, thank You for never leaving me—and for strengthening me now. Please use me, whatever it takes, to accomplish Your purposes. And Lord, as I meditate upon Your Word, nourish my soul with the truth, and see me through this hard time.”

Friend, if you'll remember to do these four things, you'll be filled with the courage to walk through any trial and be victorious in the Lord Jesus Christ."

Just took a couple of bittid pictures of the new budding bursts of Spring! Our beautiful magnolia tree has started to display a bit of its white blooms; as well as some mini yellow daffofils that have miraculously 'sprouted' up in one of our pots! Many tidbit Blessings to be thankful for!

We must take a stand for what is right and the TRUTH! Have the COURAGE to exhort all freedom thinking nations in the world, to take a united stand against evil. ie. What Putin is trying to usurp and get away with! Good on our Prime Minister for addresing the nations of the world with this atrocity! We must NOT allow Putin any more room. As Christ says: "Get thee behind Me, Satan."

Peace and God Bless.

Good versus Evil!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Since I last wrote, we have experienced a bit of a 7 day to 10 day heat wave. We now have the rain and the garden is very thankful for it
That being said, we have much to be thankful for.

With the missile downed MH-17 airliner, that has left us stunned. Alan and I are totally aghast and we are sharing our thoughts.

It is very obvious who is behind it (the Russian sanctioned Pro-Russian separatists in Eastern Ukraine). This is reminiscent of Putin's seizure of Crimea a few months ago. (You can refer below in my P.S. re: my March 2nd post WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE UKRAINE, IS WRONG AND EVIL!).

They will receive their just rewards. They also are evil and have not adhered to the Rule of International Law. Here Putin is, in Moscow, saying: "Who me? Who me? We haven't done anything wrong???" (It is always the other guys. ie. Ukranians - B.S). We have an empathy for those who live in Russia who have been deliberately misled and hence manipulated on false information.

Also, be aware that the Kremlin and Putin and his henchmen have lied to his own population to manipulate them into thinking this little man is solidly for them. Where in actual fact, he is only interested in himself and his lackeys and cronies. ie. The past President of the Ukraine - Duh. Left $13 Million US dollars as he fled, as well as absconding with app $39 Billion US dollars from Ukraine's treasury. Duh.

If Putin who says Russa has no involvement in any way, shape, or form, why doesn't he order all the Pro-Russian militants in Ukraine to take off their masks and be photographed and fingerprinted, to validate his absurd pronouncements???

Our Heavenly Father is watching all this and at the end of the day, He will very definitely take care of ALL things justly. Nothing escapes Him!!!

Hopefully, here are a couple of tidbits of encouragement and comfort.

Psalm 37: Verses 12 - 15.(KJV).

"12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. 13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming . 14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken." I love those verses; and that He laughs at His enemies!

Hebrews 10: Verse 30. "For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people." This is reassuring also to me; in that the Vengeance belongs to Him and Him alone!

The same with the Israel situation. (As Revelation in the Bible says "All the eyes of the world will be on Israel"). Prime Minister Netanyahu is doing the right thing and is compelled to stay the course to 'fight the good fight.' May the other Nations throughout the world follow suit; and implement the appropriate actions / steps. Be proactive and take a courageous stand against all this vile and evil. (Hamas).
It would appear that so often the tid ones who are 'guilty' of their words, actions, and deeds, are amongst those who point accusatory fingers at everyone else. To cover their tracks by bittids of deception, lies, manipulation and confusion. Again, Putin, Russia, and Hamas.

He IS the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.

Peace and God Bless.
