Happy New Year! Have a Blessed 2016!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It is New Year’s Eve!  Amen!

Methinks that this is the time of year, when we all reflect on what was or what was not accomplished during this year, which is rapidly coming to a close. We all have choices; and we all tend to have the best of intentions to make New Year’s Resolutions.  As we want the upcoming year to be an even better one than the previous year. We all have our ‘trials and tribulations.’  However, as a tidbit, know that your circumstances or situations, are only temporary.  He offers eternal SOLUTION and LIFE.

You can choose to continue going ‘round and round, like a bittid gerbil in a cage’ or you can choose to step back and take a tidbitz reflective look at your life.  This may be the year that you choose to genuinely Invite Jesus Christ into your heart, as your Lord and Saviour.  (Hope you do!) Your life will be forever transformed AND FOR THE BETTER!  Also, WHEN you read the Bible and SEEK Him out with all your heart, you will gain WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING. The Bible is the TRUTH and its WORDS exude LIFE!

Earlier today, I joyfully watched Kenneth Copeland and his wonderful guest, Jesse Duplantis and it is very enlightening, as well as inspirational.  http://www.kcm.org/

Here is a video for you to enjoy.

Also, appreciated Andrew Wommack, and he was excellent as well in his delivery of the message. www.awmi.net . Andrew is doing a series on: 'How to Find, Follow and Fulfill God's Will' which is most illuminating!

These 2 ministries, as well as others, have been very helpful to my perpetual growth and daily walk in Christ. A huge heartfelt Thank you, to them all!

We are exceedingly thankful for our daily Blessings and for the celebration of the Birth of Christ.  In a tid, each and every day, we celebrate His Birth!  We treat each and every day as a ‘mini Christmas’ and / or a ‘mini Thanksgiving.’  Amen!

A wee bit of a miracle! We gave a dear friend a gift, which he gave generously back to us. That helped us with the provision of a turkey; and it was a butterball at that! 17 pounds!  That was the biggest bird we have ever cooked over the years; plus the most tender! Yum!  My son, his wife, and our baby granddaughter were here on the 26th and we enjoyed a wonderful visit with them.

The leftovers with all the trimmings were just as delicious and as tasty as the night before on the 25th, when Alan and I had our wee Christmas dinner.  Alan and I were going to have our Christmas dinner on the 24th, but things backed up on us.  Instead of getting our ‘noses out of joint,’ we chose to enjoy the 24th; and to look appreciatively forward to the preparing of and savouring our special meal on the 25th!

Originally, I was going to make ‘turkey’ 'a la king' for my son and his family, however, chose instead, to keep things bittidz ‘simple.’  Yesterday, I cooked up the ‘a la king’ dish; and all the bits of ingredients were there. ie. Fresh mushrooms, green peppers, and the light cream. I thought ‘double’ the recipe, increasing the servings from 6 to 8, to 12 to 16 servings.  Alan had earlier cut up all the turkey meat (3 cups) but I needed another 3 cups. What was left, were the thighs, and they did not look like they would measure 3 additional cups.

However, I was not concerned! ie. The visual and compelling picture (in my mind and heart) is of the awesome Biblical story of the 5 loaves and 2 fishes. I thought, well, if Christ can provide for 5000 people, He can certainly provide 3 cups! Do you know what?! I ended up with the EXACT amount, no more, no less!!! I will give you the recipe (Better Homes and Gardens - Golden Treasury of Cooking) and may you heartily enjoy!  The ‘Chicken a la king’ dish can be varied; and a green salad, or rice, or jelly mold, rolls, or whatever suits your palate, are wonderful accompaniments!

Tidbit –  ALWAYS have an ‘attitude of gratitude.’ The more you choose to have a thankful heart, it becomes easier to have and live with an ‘attitude of gratitude!’  Also, Praise Him DAILY in ALL Things!

Bittid – KEEP THINGS SIMPLE!   Daily, CHOOSE to not get ‘bogged down’ with the secular and 'micro' matters of the world. ‘Cast your cares upon Him.’ Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and have Faith in His Provision.  CHOOSE to not allow doubt, fear, anxiety, depression, discouragement, lack of hope, sadness, anger, bitterness, resentment, jealousy, and other issues get to your spirit.  Keep on ‘fighting the good fight.’ Once you Invite Christ into your heart, He will never leave you. Know that the Holy Spirit lives within you and that Faith comes from within! From the ‘inside out.’

Alan puts out a few dishes daily, of bird seed for the numerous varieties of birds; and what a peaceful scene to hear, and an awesome sight to see these joyful and appreciative birds! They are singing their little thankful hearts out!  This is, indeed, a magnificent Blessing!

Alan has made up a large batch of turkey soup and the stripped thighs and bones from yesterday, are simmering slowly in the tasty soup mix. Apart from us enjoying this healthy soup, we will be giving some of it away to some of our neighbours. They love Alan’s turkey soup! You can add whatever you wish to the soup to make it stretch for many a meal. (Same with the 'Chicken a la king' recipe).

Here is the 'a la king' recipe.  When I think of that now, I think of Our Heavenly Father WHO is KING OF ALL KINGS.  HE IS awesome!!!!!

Elegant Chicken a la King:

1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
6 TBSP butter or margarine, softened
2 TBSP all-purpose flour
2 cups ight cream
3 cups cubed, cooked chicken
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp paprika
2 TBSP dry sherry
1 TBSP lemon juice  (squeeze a lemon, if lemon juice not available)
1 tsp onion juice        (puree / liquify, with a little water in blender, if onion juice is not available)
2 TBSP chopped canned pimiento.
   Toast points

In saucepan cook mushrooms and green pepper in 2 TBSP of the butter till tender but not brown; push vegetables to one side. Blend flour and 3/4 tsp salt into butter in saucepan. Stir in cream; cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. (Makes me think of champagne! LOL!). Add chicken; heat, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, in small bowl blend remaining butter, egg yolks, and paprika, set aside. To chicken mixture add sherry, lemon juice, and onion juice;  bring to boiling. Add yolk mixture, stirring till blended. Remove from heat. Stir in pimento. Serve over toast points. Serves 6 to 8.

Methinks, this elegant and very tasty dish is good for any and all occasions!  Whether for creative entertaining, and / or improvised tids of leftovers!

May you ENJOY a Special New Year’s Eve!  Finish the year well and choose to make 2016 a majestic year of change for you!  Thus, may you receive BLESSINGS IN ABUNDANCE from Him! It is nice to receive, but it is always better to give, than to receive. Be a Blessing also, to all you meet.

Also in closing, Alan and I have been reading together a chapter per day of The Book of Revelation during the month of December.  Alan reads first, which helps prep me and then I read. It is totally awesome to read OUT LOUD; as everything  becomes more clear and so very real. I am going to read OUT LOUD Revelation again, starting on January 1st, one chapter per day. It is good for the soul!

Know that you, individually, are SPECIAL, and He WANTS you to be part of His Family. Again, ASK Him to come in, and He SHALL!  REJOICE!

Peace and God Bless; and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Merry Christmas and Thank You!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It is Sunday morning, December 13th.  I know it has been several tid weeks since I last wrote a post.

Before I forget,  a person who is no longer here, would have had his 96th birthday today. To me, he was a very special person and I hope he is at rest in Heaven.  I am glad that I made a tidbitz telephone call to him to wish him a Happy Thanksgiving; because a few weeks later, he had passed away (which was a total surprise to me). In the conversation, he told me that he had a very high regard for me.  He had his ‘moments’, yet I could not help but feel an empathy and a compassion for him. He was a very bright man and I gave him my favourite Bible (a King James version) a few years before he passed away. He apparently had never read the Bible; eventhough he was highly intelligent and well read. He was going through the loss of his wife, and at the bittid time, I thought the Bible would provide him with some strength, comfort and insights.  Apparently, he was not in the best of health; so I am Prayerful that he read the Bible and ‘Invited Jesus Christ into his heart.’

This morning watched http://www.intouch.org/.  Dr. Charles Stanley’s sermon is – ‘The Celebration of Christmas’. Thank you, Dr. Stanley!  Am including his wonderful video; as his message is exceedingly helpful.  It is NEVER too late to Invite Christ into your heart; and to ‘Pay it Forward’ to others you know, who would appreciate a word of tidbit encouragement.

Christmas can both be a joyful and / or a time of sadness. We choose it to be a joyful Celebration of Christ’s Birth! When one Invites Christ into their heart, He never leaves you. The Holy Spirit is there to Guide and Direct you in your daily life.  By Seeking Christ, and placing Him first in your heart, you become forever changed; as He as Our Saviour, Who carries all our burdens.

It is amazing how one can be labeled as ‘religious.’ As Dr. Stanley says, ‘We are not ‘religious.’  We are Spiritual. There is a difference between ‘Religious and Spiritual’.  Once one ‘Seeks Christ’ with all their heart, they gain infinite Wisdom and Understanding.  Also, when one reads the Bible and reflects upon the Word, your life takes on a whole new meaning. There is LIFE in the Word!

The bittidz days have gone by very quickly.  We also received an opportunity to take a bit of a vacation.  I have really appreciated a number of ministries for their solid teachings and a heartfelt Thank you, to them all!

Tidbit – Invite Christ into your heart. Your life will be forever changed, for the better!

Bittid – When you Trust and Honour and make time for Christ, He Honours and makes time for you.  He Provides all that you need.

May this video be an extra special uplift to your spirits. May you have joy and peace (and other 'Fruits of the Spirit'); and rejoice in the Birth of Christ! Merry Christmas!

Peace, Love, Joy, and God Bless.

P.S. Alan and I celebrate 'Christmas' and ‘Thanksgiving' all year round! As in having an 'attitude of gratitude' each and every day! We have many awesome Blessings to be thankful for! We love this photo image of a peaceful and restful scene!

The Lord Is My Shepherd, I Shall Not Want!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It has, indeed, been a few months that I have last written a post. Alan and I are constantly growing in our daily walk in Christ! (like little chidren, always learning!). Regardless of the bittidz challenges of life’s ‘trials and tribulations,' we remain thankful for our daily tidbit Blessings! Be it the tid hummingbirds, the bees, and other magnificent creations that are pollinating our still thriving bittid colourful garden.

Alan and I start off each day with Thanking Him; and then at night, we follow up with Prayers of Thanks to Him! This maintains a continual peace and a joyful spirit of good cheer for each and every day! We enjoy keeping things simple; which greatly helps in dealing with the secular stresses and worries of the world today.

Tidbit - Always have an attitude of gratitude!

Bittid - Treat each and every day like a 'mini' Thanksgiving! Praise Him in ALL Things!

Have also been extra appreciative of the various ministries on TV! Again, a major Thank you to them, for their wonderful tidbitz teachings of the Word.

Earlier this morning, I watched Gloria Copeland and Pastor George Pearsons, delivering their powerful TV message: ‘No Fear Here.’ Best to watch this video! Am appreciatively looking forward to watching the conclusion of their uplifting two week series of‘The Untouchables’ tomorrow. A huge Thank you, to them!

Plus, Alan and I have done a lot of reflecting! As Andrew Wommack said today in his inspiring TV message, there is always something new to learn from the Bible Scripture verses. ie. One just needs to ask Him for understanding and help to read the verses; and they take on a new, fresh, and uplifting meaning! A heartfelt Thank you to Andrew, as well!

For example, when I reread Psalm 23 yesterday, it took on a whole new extra special meaning to me! The words stir up my soul and are refreshingly alive to me!  All the more empowering and compelling is this Psalm, in its solid message of rest and inner peace! Am including this majestic passage for a bit of encouragement to all those who Seek and Invite Christ into their hearts.

Psalm 23King James Version (KJV)
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

To mention again, I love this photo image that suggests a calm within.

Peace and God Bless.

Be 'Debt FREE' in Christ!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It has been a tid of a while since I last wrote a tidbit post. We have had many things on the go! Some ups and some downs. That being said though, many more tidbitz ups than bittidz downs. Blessings! Daily walking in Faith and steadfastly marching on in Hope and Trust in Our Heavenly Father for Him to Provide as per His Promise. To be Guided and Directed DAILY by the Holy Spirit to OBEY His Will, Purpose, and Plan. Even if ‘things’ take a little bit longer; simply believe and know that He Provides all that we need. In other words, lacking in nothing!

This morning, I enjoyed watching and listening to the encouraging tidbits given by Gloria Copeland and Pastor George Pearsons. They have such a wonderful rapport and I felt as if I could take my cup of coffee and join them in their joyful conversation and humorous banter! LOL! Cheerful and genuine!

‘Take Off the Limits’ is today’s message. Gloria and George are enlightening with their insights and experiences with being ‘free of debt’ and how to live a 'Rich' and Blessed life! I think this is an excellent series; (June 8th to June 19th) and I heartily recommend to those who are searching for bittids of wisdom, to tune into their invaluable website - www.kcm.org/.

We embrace the same thoughts as what was impactfully shared in today’s topic as well as in the earlier TV broadcasts, We are hopeful to get away on a wee bittid of a vacation and that will give us the opportunity to ‘step back and take a breather’. Alan and I have some major decisions to make. While away, we will Ask and Seek Him for His Clarity and Direction as He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Also, I watched Dr. Charles Stanley (http://www.intouch.org/) on Sunday, June 12th and his insights on PUTTING PRAYER FIRST are so very helpful!

Will write before too long! I love this photo image! It is such a peaceful, calm, and beautiful setting. 'Praise Him in ALL Things!'

Peace and God Bless.

'Roll Over' Your Cares to Him!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It has been a full tid week (again). We have experienced our bittids of 'ups and downs'; but we remain steadfast in 'fighting the good fight!'

In the mornings of this week, I have been watching Gloria Copeland and Pastor George Pearsons on T.V. Their series: 'Developing a Strong Spirit' is empowering!

On Monday, 'Enemies of a Strong Spirit', are suggestions on how to build a strong spirit; and therefore, 'roll over your cares to the Lord.'

Examples of 'cares' are worry, doubt, angst, fear, lack, whatever. Gloria says that if the 'care' is still there, then you have not yet 'rolled it over' to God; as the care is still with you. That is where also Gloria states: 'TAKE THE VICTORY / CLAIM IT!' Gloria has shared these tidbits of wisdom in many of her broadcasts. And George is also right on! I like their natural enthusiasm, and you can discern that they are speaking right from their hearts, and being Directed by the Holy Spirit!

There are 3 key tidbit areas on 'How to Develop a Strong Spirit' - Diet, Rest, and Exercise.
Yesterday was on 'Diet'; today is on 'Rest'; and tomorrow is on 'Exercise.' When you listen to their insights, www.kcm.org it makes tidbitz sense! 'Resting in the Lord' and, thus being 'patient and waiting upon the Lord.' In a tid nutshell, 'Cast all your cares upon the Lord.'

Also, have been appreciatively watching Andrew Wommack, and his teachings are very down to earth too. Today, continuing with his series: 'A Better Way To Pray' is illuminating! If a Prayer is not 'answered' right away, that does not mean that God has not heard your Prayers. A lot of people give up when their Prayers are not 'instantly' answered.

If it is part of God's Will, He has heard your Prayers on the first go around. He is working on things and will intercede on your behalf in His Timing.

Meanwhile Satan and other 'stuff' will attempt to hinder, create stumbling blocks by getting in the bit way. However, be anchored in Christ, cast all cares aside and be unfettered, calm, and patient.

Also, by Praying the same Prayer everyday for His Answer, suggests there is still a lingering 'doubt' within, whether He will answer your Prayer. Again, know that He has heard your Prayer from the first moment you uttered it. Trust in Him that He has everything in Hand, and that He is simply working behind the scenes. Plus, everyday when you do Pray, simply Thank Him for His Provision. That builds up your faith, trust, and belief that it will be so, as per His Will. I suggest you tune into Andrew's website and the video for further clarity. http://www.awmi.net/

When you Pray and Ask for something, quote a Bible Scripture along with it; so that everything is tied in with the Word.

Mark 11
Verse 23 -
"Truly I say to you, whoever says to his mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen. it shall be granted him."
Verse 24 -
"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you."

Also, I take great comfort in this verse from Psalm 46:10 - "Be still and Know that I am God."

Here is are a couple of photos. One of our rhodo, showing a few bittid blooms in 3 beautiful colours; and the other is of an eagle. I sensed that when I was taking the picture of the eagle, it was as if he swooped down from high above, and was literally right above me! Saying to me: 'Take it!' Methinks this is an awesome Blessing!

Isaiah 40
Verse 31 -
"Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary."

Alan and I have been 'resting in the Lord.' We are in the process of 'waiting upon the Lord' and we know it is going to happen; however, in His Timing. Therefore, we are confidently and joyfully expecting His awesome Provision!

This morning when I listened to and watched Gloria and George, it was as if I was sitting right there with them, with my coffee and ears opened! LOL! Could relate to George being up in the wee bit hours of the morning and thankfully meditating upon the Word. Methinks, that is a wholesome and refreshing start to the day! While I was listening to them, I heartily enjoyed my breakfast, my spirit being 'fed' by a healthy 'diet.'
Later this afternoon, I will 'exercise' by going for a long walk and taking in all the bittids of wonderful fresh air, which clears out the bittidz cobwebs.

Hope today's post provides tidbits of encouragement and uplifts your spirits each and every day. Thank you also, for the enlightening insights from these ministries, as well as from many others! Be of good cheer!

Peace and God Bless.

Bloom and Blossom with the Word!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It is Sunday and it has been a wonderful Spring day so far! I appreciatively watched Dr. Charles Stanley (video 'Those Feelings of Inadequacy').

Dr. Stanley (http://www.intouch.org/) shares some empowering verses! ie. Proverbs 3:5-6, Philippians 4:6, and Joshua 1:9. Basically one has the choice of being encouraged or discouraged.

Also 'soaked up' the last half hour of 'Hour of Power' (.http://www.hourofpower.org/)

As it happened, Tony Campolo was Bobby Schuller's guest, and he was sharing some awesome tidbits. Right on! There are no coincidences, here folks! The video: 'Responding to the Secular Society' is enlightening!

While appreciating their illuminating messages on TV, I also enjoyed a healthy breakfast, that I generally have every day. ie. A half pink grapefruit, 2 soft boiled eggs, with a tid of pepper, melba toast crisps with jam and peanut butter. Also, my elixir of two cups of coffee.

A bit of tidbitz, breakfast is considered to be the most important meal of the day! One does themselves a huge disservice to ignore this vital meal, which promotes the way to wellness and a healthy lifestyle.

It made me think of Gloria Copeland re: her previous series on Healing and Staying Well. Tomorrow morning I look forward to watching her and Pastor George Pearsons. (http://www.kcm.org/).

Then followed by Andrew Wommack. (.www.awmi.net/).

In bittidz closing, I am also thankful for the wonderful bittids of wisdom and knowledge that other ministries share as well! I will be enjoying them later today!

We are now experiencing a bittid of 'April Showers.' However, this does not discourage the joyful chirping of the birds! On the tid contrary, they are singing their little hearts out!
I am hopeful too, to see a bit of a rainbow!

Here is a photo of a few blooms on our Rhododendrum.
We have so many tidbit Blessings to be grateful for! 'Praise Him in ALL Things.'

Peace and God Bless.

Refresh your mind in Christ!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Friday and the weekend again! This bittidz week just 'flew!' That being said, I have appreciated and enjoyed a number of wonderful ministries! Thank you, to them for their teachings and insights!

During this week I have watched and listened to Gloria Copeland. www.kcm.org

Her series:'Living in Divine Health' is exceedingly helpful; and today's empowering video: 'Jesus is My Healer' is so uplifting to the spirits! Plus a wonderful testimony!

Gloria Copeland shares about 'Living in Divine Health'; well, methinks best to tune into the website and see and hear for yourselves! I have just turned a certain age myself, LOL! I feel that my mind is more active and positive than ever! ie. Because of the Life and Healing oozing from the pages of the Bible!!!

Also, for those who have not yet invited Christ into their hearts, it is not too late. However, with Revelation 'knocking on earth's door', I would not leave the 'invitation' for too much longer! He wants us to be 'ready.' And the only way of being 'ready', is by making Him Your Lord and Saviour. So that you will inherit and have eternal life in His Kingdom.

On the news today, 'dementia' was briefly discussed; and what can one do to help keep one's mind clear??? Different ideas, such as 'mind games', puzzles, reading etc were suggested - all fine. However, my immediate tidbit thought was / is: 'Why not read the Bible DAILY???' Why not take solid stock in enjoying the Healing of THE WORD from this best seller Book of Truth! Methinks this may help a lot of those who are 'afflicted' with dementia and so forth!

Before I forget, earlier this week before I fell off to sleep, I had a major tooth ache in my back tooth that came on very suddenly. As in an abscess type of thing. Well, on Monday morning I watched and listened to Gloria (on healing) and I pretty much reiterated a few words she powerfully stated to claim the receiving of healing. Do you know that the 'pain' left as quickly as it arrived? The associated jaw, eye, and head pains, and as if a volcano about to erupt, was gone! To me, that is a total WOW!

Needless to say, we have had an interesting week and we have also received a number of tidbitz Blessings! Certain things are happening all at once and to the good!!! It is hard to 'wait' but WHEN you surrender to Relying upon Him in Faith and Trust, and wait upon Him, (as per His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan and in His Timing), things do come to awesome fruition! You can look back on your experiences, with a grateful heart of appreciation and thanksgiving, KNOWING that He has had you in the Palm of His Hand, the whole time!

Today we did a wee bit of weeding to prep our soil for planting. In our planter pots, there were lots of weeds and some returning plants. It felt good being out in our bittid garden and taking in the fresh Spring air! I was thinking of the good and the bad seeds; and while weeding, I stated joyfully out loud that: "We are separating the 'wheat from the chaff." That brought such'good cheer' and an 'inner' peace! I thankfully appreciated and reflected all the more upon our daily Blessings.

We have had 'trials and tribulations' (who doesn't?) however, it is also HOW one endures and handles the hurdles. There are times when one is 'waiting'; but consider that it is Him WHO is 'prepping' you for 'better times!' When He sees you are 'ready' and equipped to be provided with His awesome Blessings, He Answers your Prayers. The Answers to Prayers may even be different, but as He IS our Father, He knows what is best for each and every one of us! This made me think of Gloria's inspiring message today!

I also watched Andrew Wommack's ministry this morning. He shares that God wants a 'relationship' with you, and just simply 'talk'' to Him. And listen to what the Holy Spirit says, and follow His Direction and Guidance for your life! In a tid while, I will also watch Pastor John Hagee with His enlightening message of the Gospel.

Tidbit - May we nuture ourselves in the Life and Truth of the Word! We can apply the Bible teachings to reap and sow our harvest everyday! As shared before, Alan and I live one day at a time. We like to keep things simple; more clarity that way.

Bittid - "And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary."Galatians 6:9 '

This is a photo that we recently took of our Rhodo! One of His many Blessings!

It is now pouring with rain; a nice night to stay at home. We Thank Him for all our Blessings and 'Praise Him in ALL Things!'

Peace and God Bless.

The Precious Gift of Eternal Life!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

I know it has been a tidbitz while since I last wrote a post. Call it, that life has a way of getting in the way. We have been working on various bittidz matters and those will be resolved before too long.

That being said, we have reflected with thankful appreciation for each and every day. We do our best to live one day at a time. We have a particular friend, and she is very anxious and can not comprehend our 'train of thought.' I have had to gently repeatedly tell her that we live one day at a time and we are not worried. In fact, we are going to take a wee bit of a 'time-out' to provide us with more clarity. She is a nice person, but very secular. Sadly, she does not understand; and nor does she wish to understand that we are no longer part of this secular world. She has her sadnesses and so forth; and she asks me what can she do about it? I have mentioned to her The TIDBIT Solution - Christ; but she spurns it.

We were at an Open House / House Warming Party on Good Friday; and somehow a woman and I got into a conversation about God. Fine. That being said, she stated that she does not believe there is a God, a Heaven, or an Eternity, and that the Bible is 'just a book.' Well, when I listened and heard enough (a few moments later), I HAD to speak up!

I had watched Joyce Meyer earlier that morning, and she shared that as Christians, we are compelled to 'witness' to others; and not to 'sit back' and be passive and say nothing. ie. We must spread the message of the Good News! My response was that there IS a God, a Heaven, an Eternity, and that the Bible IS the Truth.

A tid of background, I have met this person a few times over the years, and she has never liked me. (Alan has observed that as well). Sadly, she appears to be 'sour.' Well, as it happened, I was 'directed' by the Holy Spirit to 'enlighten' her; and I am thinking out of the whole group, she appeared to be the most caustic and toxic. Why me, to speak with her on this; but THANK YOU to Him and to JOYCE's (joycemeyer.org) poignant message!

The woman was starting to become agitated and quite unpleasant and stated: 'We will choose to disagree" Also, she added that she did not think she offended me as much as I offended her. At that point, 'gentleness' left me. Well, it didn't; but a firm strong commanding voice, came from BITTID 'within.' "Fine, but at least the burden will not fall on my shoulders, that I did not tell you about this and that there is a God, Heaven, the Bible, AND Eternity. I suggest and will leave you with this suggestion: - As you continue to live your life, consider where you would like your eternity to be."

Long story made short, it was a lovely party but most of the people there, were not 'happy campers.' There are NO coincidences. ie. about the invitation to the party. I had been thinking about this particular couple (that we have not seen for some 12 or 13 years) and wondering how they were and if they were still living in their large house etc. A few days later, my friend stops by our place. She was on her way home from Costco and her husband suggested another route to drive home; hence she drove by our place and recognized our car. I just about 'fell over' when I saw her at our door!

Anyway, I invited her in for a glass of wine, which she heartily accepted. Then she told me that they had moved out to our 'neck of the woods' two months ago. That was how the invitation took place. So, pondering, we were 'meant' to go to that party; even if it was just for sharing the message (when put to the tidbit test). We did reconnect with a few (who were not foes) and we hope to re establish some friendships.

So this Easter has been all the more special to us, and in our daily walk in Christ. We have apprecated many a ministry. To name just a wonderful few! Dr. Charles Stanley, Joel Osteen, Hal Lindsey. We also watched Dr. David Jeremiah (www.davidjeremiah.org) and his message on the Resurrrection of Christ and Eternity is awesome!

Also, there was the movie ('Heavenly Match'); and I totally recommend it! The Grace was wonderfully portrayed, and provides a lot of good 'food for thought.' Reverend Casey Hart thanked the woman for her help in reminding her of what her purpose is. I can say the same with regards to the person at the party. A Grateful Thank you!

After that movie, I watched 'Saul of Tarsus' and that was excellent. I received a solid sleep and had a very 'real' dream / vision. ie. Going back to Biblical days, dressed in the 'garb' that the Disciples wore, and that I was with the group of Disciples breaking bread. I can see the Bread most vividly and eventhough I could not clearly see Jesus, I KNEW He was there in the 'cloud' midst as well. I remember being joyful and rejoicing; and that we broke bread several times! The unleavened flat bread, which was close up, was so 'life-like' as well! So yes, this Easter has been very meaningful.

Tidbit - It is NOT too late to Seek Christ and Invite Him into your heart! Truly, deep down, consider where you would like to spend your eternity.

Bittid - Continue to have compassion, understanding, empathy, and LOVE towards others. Be an uplift to all you meet; as well as being a caring witness in sharing the Gospel of the Good News.

Earlier this morning, I enjoyed and appreciated watching Sid Roth, Gloria Copeland (on Healing) and Andrew Wommack. For those of you who have some questions and / are curious, best to tune into these inspirational ministries! Also, the Bible, which is the living WORD of Truth.

Before we forget, our heartfelt condolences to the Schuller fmaily. Robert Schuller Sr was a wonderful servant in His service!

Here is a bittid photo of a colourful and beautiful mix of flowers, combined with a Easter Lily plant that Alan gave me. We are still enjoying the many fragrant and lovely blooms from this special plant!

Peace and God Bless.

Celebrating a 'special' day!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Today is Alan's birthday (65th!) and I just want to say how Blessed I am to have met him in 2002. For all these years, he has 'treated me like a queen!' For all those who have been and perhaps may still be 'naysayers' about our marriage, they have chosen to not know the Truth.

I have been fortunate in many regards in having Alan as my husband. It goes back to when he and I both received an 'Answer to Prayer.' We asked for each other and Our Father Provided the tidbitz match. I also asked my 'earth father' for his tidbit input. I remember I started off in my 'Prayer' in saying I did not want a 'yes' man; meaning not someone who is a 'fence sitter.' My Dad was not a 'yes' man and nor was he a 'fence sitter.' When I started my Prayer, I 'separated the wheat from the chaff.' Well, in a bittidz nutshell, Alan showed up. And, I have never looked back with any laments; save that it is a loss for those who have maligned the Truth.

Alan is a Christian; which perhaps is part of the difficulty? Well, now I have become a Christian as well; and it has been a most interesting and rewarding journey. We are learning who our 'real' friends are. Very few; I might add. But they are dearly treasured in our hearts. We also know that they do not gossip or 'back stab us' behind our backs and smiling all the bittid while.

Tidbit - Always remember to Honour Him and Give Him Thanks! Regardless of whether your circumstances are good or bad.

Bittid - Always have a daily 'open Prayer dialogue' with Him. Makes life a whole lot simpler and brings more peace and joy.

Today I watched the Kenneth Copeland Ministries as well as Andrew Wommack. Both ministries provide wonderful teachings of the Bible.

Yesterday was the 'Ides of March' (we watched the enlightening movie, 'Quo Vadis' last night - interesting tids of comparisons to today) and tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day.

Today we are thankfully appreciating the 16th of March; Alan's birthday! Beautiful sunshine and all the heralding bits of signs of Spring coming awesomely upon us! We are now celebrating Alan's birthday with some champagne! Skal! Thank you, Our Heavenly Father, for Alan's birth! Happy that we met - 'In Answer to Prayer.'

Peace and God Bless.

Sunday 15 March 2015

Have a grateful heart of Thanksgiving!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

A lot of tidbitz has happened since I last wrote a post.

To recap a bit, on March 6th, we scattered my Mum's ashes, as per her wishes. We were blessed with good sea weather and we also appreciated a picnic lunch in her memory. She enjoyed champagne (as do we every so often); so along with that, we brought some sandwiches from Subway. An interesting mix, but a most memorable toast with several 'Skals' of thanks. We also brought some daffodils to scatter and as you can see from the photo below, the bumble bees are quite large. We were amazed how 'giant like' they were. They were attracted to the flowers but they also zoomed in for the bright colour of our yellow tote bag.

We watched and listened to Dr. David Jeremiah's tidbits of teachings and insights -  www.davidjeremiah.org/ on Sunday, March 8th, and Wow! In his enlightening message, 'The Sword of the Spirit', he shares an example of comparing us to a butterfly, a botanist, or a little bumble bee.

On the Friday, when I observed the 'giant' orange like bumble bees, I could not help but marvel and thought how the bumble bees enthusiastically dug in and drank in every bit of nectar they could drain from the daffodils. I remember thinking that they are in such earnest search. Then we hear the message from Dr. Jeremiah on Sunday. Well, I definitely relate to the bumble bee! Butterflies are lovely; but there was just 'something' extra 'special' about these huge bees. I was not frightened by their persistence or largess. In fact, I welcomed them! They provided a bittidz of comic, yet wondrous relief to the occasion.

Have been laying a tid low, as I either cracked a few ribs and / or pulled some muscles on my rib cage. Either way, not the most pleasant type of injury to experience. Last week, when I was opening up a very heavy door, I heard a 'pop' and then followed by a loud yell (that was me, saying ' ouch!'). Anyway, I have to just grin and bear it; as there is not much that can be done for this type of an injury. Save 'rest.' We have a lot of matters that have been in the works and are finally coming to fruition. This little 'setback' perhaps is a 'step forward' as I have had this quiet time to calmly reflect upon some future decisions. That being said, we are all the more focused to Trust and Rely upon Christ, to Guide and Direct our paths, as per His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan.

Have also been watching and appreciating a number of ministries on T.V. and again, a heartfelt thanks to all those ministries with their wonderful bittids of encouragement! I have been a bittid behind with my reading and studying the Bible; but I look forward to getting back to it! Am not beating myself up either. Things happen; and methinks, there are no coincidences! We also believe in the 'supernatural' as Sid Roth does; and therefore, we rejoice with confident expectation in His awesome Provision!

One of our elderly neighbours just brought us over a delicious dessert he has made before, as an appreciative gesture for the home-made soups that Alan gives him. The 'Golden Rule' is very true '"Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you." Having just said that, it is very important to encourage and uplift 'seniors' and for that tidbit matter, people of all ages! Just because 'senior folk' are of a certain age, does not mean that they are not useful and / or should be cast aside. The same goes for the 'young' people.

'Wisdom' at any age is a 'tidbit' gift! Earlier this morning, I watched the last half hour of "Hour of Power' with Bobby Schuller and he has been Blessed with much Wisdom!

Tidbit - Thankfully embrace each and every day. Praise Him too, for attended difficulties and / or challenges. Remember, He IS your BEST Advocate and has your best interests at heart! Leave it to Him to fight all your battles. He has already WON!

Bittid - Again, INVITE Christ genuinely into your heart; and as per His Promise, He never leaves you. Therefore, be empowered to be anchored and rooted in steadfast FAITH in His 'supernatural' Provision!

Peace and God Bless.

Sunday 1 March 2015

'Against all odds!' Be steadfast in Faith, Hope, and Wisdom

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Our weather has been glorious! Spring is definitely on its tid way, regardless of the chilly bittid temperatures during the night. The blossoms are blooming forth, the birds are chirping and flying about and so forth.

This morning I appreciatively watched Dr. Charles Stanley www.intouch.org/  and his teachings are on HOPE and WISDOM. His tidbits touched a major chord within my heart.

As mentioned, we have had our 'ups and downs'; but then who hasn't? It is HOW one weathers the 'storms.' ie. When one walks in Christ and in the Fruits of the Spirit, the storms / battles are a lot easier to go through. Alan and I have had quite a journey (would be a best seller / awesome story for an incredible box office hit / movie) and you know what, we are still here! Happier and more appreciatively thankful than ever! We have encountered (and still are; but no matter) a lot of criticism, scorn, indignation, malice, false witnesses, you name it.

Do not listen to those who say to you that you are 'hopeless' or that there is no hope because of your circumstances (which are only temporary). Do not be downtrodden by those who pridefully compare their lofty positions to yours, with arrogance and all the 'stuffings' / 'outside trappings' that go with that description. Sadly, when their tidbtiz 'time is up', they will be eternally grieving. By their choices. ie. That is, IF they have not accepted Christ Jesus as their Saviour, they will be living at a different and horrific address for their eternity.

Tidbit - It is not too late to invite Christ into your heart; however, do it soon as Revelation is happening. Then always seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and righteousness, and the rest will follow. You will be amazed and in never ending awe of His Blessings and majestic Provisions - both big and small!

Bittid - When one experiences hardships, tough times, situations, one is more likely to gain an understanding, an empathy, and a compassion toward others. Those who may still be bitter, angry, or resentful, whatever, let it go. Turn everything over to Him. Cast all your cares upon Him and leave the consequences to Him.

Dr. Charles Stanley also shares his bittids of insights on Wisdom. Again, 'Do you rely solely on yourself or do your depend totally upon Him?' It is foolhardy and foolish to not trust Him 100%. Perhaps you are facing pressures (secular) from others - to do this and to do that. Well when you have truly invited Christ into your heart, He Guides and Directs your path, as per His Will, Purpose, and Plan for your life. The Wisdom is in Trusting Christ and Obeying His Word. The Bible is the TRUTH, and the Book of Life; that teaches the Word, that influences us how we are to apply this in our day to day living. When you Seek Him with all your heart, for Wisdom and Understanding, there is a lot more peace, a calm, a clarity, a joy and simplicity in your everyday life.

My tidbit suggestion is to tune into 'In Touch Ministries'; and hear Dr. Stanley share his encouraging message -' Living Wisely or Foolishly,' Perhaps this will reach someone you know and love.

There are also many other wonderful ministries that you can also be appreciative for their enlightening insights. ie. Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, George Pearsons, Jeremy Pearsons, Billye Brim, Peter Youngren, Charles and Hilary Price, John Hagee, Dr. David Jeremiah, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Andrew Wommack, Hal Lindsey, Dr. John Tweedie, Sid Roth, Doug Batchelor, Rhonda Lazerte, Bobby Schuller, Jack and Rosella Van Impe, Tomorrow's World, Beyond Today, International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, and so forth! There are still many other ministries, that presently do not come to my mind; however, a huge and heartfelt Thank you to all of them!

Alan and I have some bittidz decisions to make. However, we are relying upon Him to Provide Solution and Provision as Per His Will for us. And may we receive His Provision in overflowing abundance for the rest of our days! May our families / generations also receive His Blessings for the rest of their days!

Our lovely neighbours (from the Balkans) just moved yesterday. We have exchanged telephone numbers and will continue to enjoy a nice friendship that we have appreciated for almost four years. Later today, we are going to a pot-luck gathering with some of my old school chums and we are looking forward to having a bit of a rap.

'Praise Him in ALL things!'

Peace and God Bless.

Be Courageous!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

In a tid, it has been an interesting time around here. Many things happening all at bittidz once! However, we are thankful for our daily Blessings! We are also rejoicing on a major tidbitz matter that is finally coming to fruition!

Galatians 6:9 - "And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary." This particular verse has jumped out at me from the onset!

Another verse that has given me continual strength and encouragement in my daily walk in Christ, is this stellar verse:-

Exodus 13:21
"And the Lord was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night."

As I have shared in earlier posts, I have been reading and studying the Bible (almost daily). I am so thamkful to the special ministries who have helped me appreciate how important The Word is! When you 'drink in' the Bible, everything becomes alive and is applicable to our lives. The Word is LIFE!

I think of the heartfelt song - 'All Is Well With My Soul.' That happens when you absorb the Word and Invite Christ into your heart. Things change in your life, and regardless of what is going on around the world, you remain rooted and steadfast in Faith in Him.

Today I watched and listened to Kenneth Copeland's message about 'warriorship.' (http://www.kcm.org/)
Fair enough, people are concerned about the economy, but do not let that deter you from moving forward in FAITH with Christ. As Kenneth says about the economy - FAITH is Victory to Prosperity. Also for those on 'fixed incomes', he says to 'unfix it!'(by FAITH). When one does that, all sorts of Prosperity and Blessings flow from left, right and centre, and in overflowing abundance! We are experiencing that too!

Hopefully, Kenneth's tidbits uplift your spirits. Hang in there with expectant results in your FAITH! I heartily recommend you tune into the website! I love his story how he ties in his experiences with Psalm 91 ' Security of the One Who Trusts in the Lord.' Right tidbit on with supernatural FAITH!

Also Andrew Wommack's awesome vision in Uganda. Incredible! Here is his website. www.awmi.net/

We have our first blooming bud / blossom on our beautiful magnolia tree out front; just outside the window! (I noticed it yesterday). I can sit here at the computer and see and hear the birds chirping, flying and swinging enthusiastically about on the tree branches! What a Blessing!

A few days ago, I had the thought about how a nice piece of chocolate cake would be! No sooner than that thought 'appeared', one of our neighbours arrived on our doorstep with a large slice of chocolate cake for us! As shared before, Alan makes up wonderful batches of soups and this particular neighbour loves them. He says that 'there is more to this man, than just him making soup.' Very true and I have been Blessed with having Alan as my husband.

The well known poem, 'IF' by Rudyard Kipling is very enlightening, and methinks these are wonderful bittids of wisdom!

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;
If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!

Last, but not least, I love these empowering bittid verses from Philippians 4: 6 - 7.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

In bit closing, as I have shared in previous posts, this is one of my favourite photo images! It truly touches my heart, soul, and mind!

Peace and God Bless.

THANK YOU!!!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Almost two weeks have flown by since my last post. A lot has happened in the 'in between.' I have missed writing, and I am glad to back be with renewed enthusiasm!

I completed Joyce Meyer's 30 / 30 Day Challenge and it was an awesome learning experience! A heartfelt appreciative thank you to her, and her team!

I chose to make and take the time, to have the discipline and to stick with this 30 day commitment! I am continuing with steadfast perseverance to daily read and study the Bible for at least 30 minutes per day.

Also with more understanding of the Bible, instead of just thinking about making a few tid changes, I have and am acting on them. For those of you who would like to read / study the Bible, I recommend you make the choice / decision to do Joyce's 30 / 30 Day Challenge. It really changes your life for the better! BECAUSE, you are better equipped in Christ and IN the Word. Hence applying it joyfully to your daily life.

A genuine thanks to the Kenneth Copeland Ministries! You can access their website and videos at:  http://www.kcm.org/.

Also, this morning, I watched Gloria Copeland and her guest, Dr. Billye Brim on T.V. - very interesting and enlightening tidbits! This week's series - 'HaMakom - The Place God Has for You.' (Billye fills in some bittidz gaps that I had questions about the Old Testament). Billye has a wealth of knowledge about Jerusalem and 'The Place'(HaMakom). I thank her for the tidbitz history lesson as well as her glowing bittids of wisdom. Given the current chaos going on throughout the world, Revelation is quickly unfolding.

Also, Happy Birthday, Gloria! An appreciative thank you to the Copelands for their beautiful calendar that has the suggested daily readings of the Bible, that can be read in one year.

With the insightful combinations of Joyce Meyer, the Copelands, and many other solid teachings by other ministries, this has truly helped me in my daily walk in Christ. I am eagerly Seeking Him and the Word! Now when I read the Bible, it is as if everything colourfully and magnificently comes to LIFE!

When I turn to the Bible, I ASK Him for His help for His Guidance through His Holy Spirit, to help me understand His Word. That is a truly helpful tidbit!

Watched Andrew Wommack this morning as well and he is excellent. I like how he explains the understanding of the Old and the New Testament. At the end of the day, it is basically The New Covenant / New Testament that we follow (not the Old Testament - the 'Law'). But he explains why the 'Law' was in the Old Testament and how it was / is applicable.

I love Christ's ' reply in Matthew 22: 37- 40 when He was asked a 'testing' question - "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"
And He said to him, " 'You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
"This is the great and foremost commandment.
"The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbour as yourself.'
"On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

As Andrew shares, if people would just follow and keep these two commandments and walk in love, the world would be a much better place. Sadly, this is not the case today. This is why it is vital all the more, that we all invite Christ into our hearts; and also to share the 'Message of the Good News.' So that when the Rapture happens, we are ready. For those who are non believers, they will not have a 'resting place'; they will be in the perpetual torments of hell; eternally banished from the Kingdom of God. This is why we must Seek Him with all our hearts and Seek the Kingdom of God NOW!

When we cast all our bit cares upon Him, He Provides as per His Promise. When we turn everything over to Him and have the Faith and Trust in Him to provide (whatever it is), He does. Everything is always in accordance with His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan. It is all very bittid simple, when we leave all the consequences to Him to work out in all regards.

The photo image's message is empowering!

Peace and God Bless.

Overcome by Living IN The Word!

Good Morning or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

We are taking care of three dogs presently. One of them is owned by one of our neighbours, who gave birth to their first child. A cute little boy. Their dog was here yesterday, is back today, and may be here for a tid longer.

Today we were better prepared for our neighbour's dog, who was dropped off just before 8 am. The larger dog was enjoying outside while the smaller one was with me. Currently it is 0 degrees C (or 32 degrees F). Chilly for this bit part of the world; and it was much colder temps last night. Thick frost everywhere. It should warm up though, later in the early afternoon. The sun is brilliantly shining through a very dense fog, which should lift as the day goes on. However, the sun rays that are streaming in through our window are warm; and it is invigorating to the spirit! Plus, the little birds (chickadees primarily) on happily hopping about and chirping on our magnolia tree.

Both the little dogs are chilling out with me and we just 'watched / listened' to Gloria Copeland and Pastor George Pearsons on the computer. http://www.kcm.org/As per my post yesterday, they are doing a series 'Prospering in Tough Times' - Part 1 (they will continue next week with Part 11) and this morning's tidbit message - 'A Supernatural, Economic Turnabout' is excellent and uplifting to the soul. Best to tune in and watch it on line. I prefer to watch this on TV, but the dogs were nice and quiet and as as the tidbitz expression goes: 'Let sleeping dogs lie.' Methinks this has a bittidz calming effect on them too! LOL!

Thank you to the Copelands and Pearsons for their tidbits of insights on Victory IN the Word. As they suggest, live IN the system of the Kingdom and NOT be burdened down with the system of the World. Alan and I have been doing that as well; not easy at times; but just continue to continue and not fall prey to the bittids of dictates and darkness of the secular world!

I like and totally identify with what Gloria said, that they are not 'normal!' LOL! So if anyone should say to you, that you are hopeless, there is no hope and so forth, just remember that 'they' are coming from a secular position and not from Christ. Hang in there and be strong in the Word! He IS The One, Who will see that you THRIVE and flourish. He wants the BEST for us all and wants us all to receive His overflowing abundance; not to have us just merely surviving. As Gloria and George also wonderfully express: ' Revelation overcomes information.'

Put the Kingdom of God first, and your mind will be refreshed and renewed. You will see things differently and others will as well. Some will be appreciative and others, who are fearful, will not like that you have 'changed'. ie. You will be deemed as not 'normal.' So right on, Gloria!

Pastor George Pearsons refers to Luke 5: verses 1 -11 (The First Disciples) and this sums up everything in a bittid nutshell. I love it and it speaks to me! Wow! As Christ says in verse 4 - "Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch." Then in verse 10, Christ says - " Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men." So there you have it! Invite Him in, Run with the Word and joyfully and boldly Seek the Kingdom of God!

As Gloria shares: "When you get Jesus in your boat, the economy will turn around."

As I have mentioned in previous posts, I love this photo image, which provides multitudes of good cheer and Blessings in overflowing abundance!

Peace and God Bless.

BOLDLY Seek Him with all your heart!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Eleven days have passed since I last wrote a post. Been an interesting tidbitz time as we have had lots on the go! We have also received many Blessings! One of the biggest ephifanies I have embraced, is that it is absolutely vital to have total trust in the Lord. Trust Him completely in ALL regards.

This morning I was watching the Kenneth Copeland Ministries and their message is excellent! This week and over next week, Gloria Copeland and Pastor George Pearsons share encouraging insights about Prosperity. Here is their website: http://www.kcm.org/ This particular series 'Prospering in Tough Times' - Part 1, started this past Monday. For more information, best to tune into them on line and watch their videos, full of flourishing tidbits.

For those of you who are a bit discouraged, feeling 'bunged out', whatever, this ministry as well as Andrew Wommack, Joyce Meyer and many other special ministries are right on with their teachings. I am appreciative for all the ministries that I follow. Again, a heartfelt Thank You!

Mentioned too, that I have been pressing on with the 30/30 Day Challenge. Joyce Meyer is offering this, as a teaching tool to perk a renewed interest in reading and studying the Bible. The Word IS; and we simply apply the Word in our daily lives. I have made the commitment and am determined to continue 'drinking in' the Word, long after the Challenge is over. I am finding that the more I turn to the Bible, the MORE I SEEK Christ! Also, each bittid time before I read, I always ASK Him to help me with understanding the interpretation / meaning of the verses / passages.

Another tidbit to start your day off on a good and solid footing in the Word, is to Seek Wisdom and Understanding. Plus give Him Thanks in everything and you will find that your days are amazing! When you Seek first the Kingdom of God and Righteousness, everything else falls into place.

BOLDLY cast ALL your cares upon Him and just leave it ALL to Him. WHEN you Trust His Promise, which IS the Word, just know that He Provides. It may not always happen right away; as it can be a series of bittid steps. However, hang tight, and do not allow Satan to get his grip on you. ie Fear, anxiety, doubts and all other secular worries. Remain steadfastly rooted and anchored in Christ and Rely upon Him ONLY, to Guide and Direct your path.

WHEN you Seek Wisdom and Understanding, and you genuinely place Him FIRST place in your hearts, you will experience changes for the better. It comes from the inside! Also, WHEN you are confidently and joyfully expecting overflowing abundance from Him, again 'doors open!' We have experienced some incredible miracles as of late. Even during the tough times, NEVER lose Hope. KNOW that He loves you unconditionally and WHEN you open your hearts and invite Him in, He never leaves you.

As mentioned, we have a beautiful good sized calendar from the Kenneth Copeland Ministries. There are recommendations as to the daily Chapters to read; so that the Bible can be read in a year. I think that is awesome! So in this 30/30 Challenge, I have combined the Copeland's reading suggestions with allotting time to the Bible for the 30/30. I usually end up spending longer than the 'allocated' 30 minutes; which I divide into bittidz sections during the day, to make the reading easier to 'soak in.' Like the time just vanishes! I LOVE this type of 'studying!' I am particularly enjoying Mark Chapter 4, and I LOVE the Parables! Wow! Christ explains the 'Parable of the Sower and Soils' and in Verse 9," He who has ears to hear, let him hear" is stellar music to my tid ears!

During the 30/30 Challenge, there have been a few bittids of times when 'life gets in the way' and I have had to 'play catch up.' However, I am focused upon Him and staying the course. As a tidbit, those of you who wish to learn more, this is a simple way to pursue the Word and Christ. When you Honour Him, He Honours you. When you read and study the Bible and Invite Him into your hearts, you will be uplifted and encouraged to enjoy a more fulfilling life.

Since I have daily immersed myself in the reading / studying of the Bible, I am appreciatively learning more about Christ, Our Saviour! There IS Purpose, a joy, a peace, a calm and the resolve to share the 'Message of the Good News' is stronger than ever!

Here is today's video with Gloria Copeland and Pastor George Pearsons  - 'Flourishing in Tough Times'; as well as some other enlightening videos.

Peace and God Bless.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

The days are going by very quickly. We have also had a full tid plate and in between everything else, I am sticking with the 30/30 Challenge; of which I have made reference to in earlier posts. I am totally enjoying reading, or should I say 'studying' and then 'meditating' upon the Word, found in the Bible. Very awesome!

As per the Kenneth Copeland Ministry Calendar, I am following their tidbitz outline of suggested Chapters to absorb in the Bible. Then I apply those to Joyce Meyer's 30/30 Challenge and the 30 minutes becomes closer to an hour. I have had to play 'catch up' a couple of times; but have made the commitment to just DO it. I thank Joyce for taking the initiative for having put together the 30/30 Day Challenge. When the 30 days are up, I will continue to read the Bible in this manner every day for the rest of my life.

The stories in the Old Testament are totally awesome! They are so full of life to me! I feel as if I am there. Then in the New Testament, I can feel the Power of Christ's teachings and His Parables are empowering to my soul!

An experience that Alan had today was truly amazing! We had need of help for our car battery and a passer-by stopped by to aid. The man and Alan apparently had a good conversation; and Alan asked him what part of the world he was from. He did have an accent, and he replied that he was Palestinian, from Bethlehem. He was not sure whether Alan knew where Bethlehem was. As it happens, he originated from the West Bank (the larger Bethlehem). Here is a bit of an intriguing tidbit! There are 2 'Bethlehem's'. The larger one in the West Bank, and then the smaller Bethlehem near Jerusalem, the town where Christ Jesus was born. Alan told the gentleman that he is a Christian, and the man extended his hand in friendship. I think that is pretty wonderful!

It made me think how vitally important it is that we 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' If there was more of that today, the world would be a far better place. The experience that Alan had with the man, who kindly pulled over (reminds me of the story of the Good Samaritan), really adds more light to the Bible and its teachings.

Alan then decided that it was appropriate to replace the bittid battery. Fortunately, they were not busy; so it was a good day to have this done. We knew our car needed a new battery but kept putting it off.

That bittidz being said, it is vital that we make the time for God's Word. Make Him a priority, and place Him first in your hearts! When you Honour Him, He Honours you.

So, this 30/30 Challenge has been a real eye opener / epiphany to me and a THANK YOU of good cheer to Joyce Meyer (Enjoying Everyday Life) and to the Kenneth Copeland Ministries for funnelling and channelling my spirit to joyfully 'study' the Bible on a focused DAILY BASIS.

When you read the Bible, Ask and Depend upon Him for His Help; and the Holy Spirit will thus Provide you with Understanding. The teachings become alive, as the Word is LIFE! There are various verses. passages, chapters, stories, parables that will simply jump out at you! 'Seek and Ye Shall Find.' The more I seek Him, the more I find! Remember the story of Joseph? How he was wonderfully prospered by the Lord. Well, the same goes for us too!

I love this photo image; and I refer to it often. I always feel such an abundance of peace, of grateful contentment, and a comforting calm!

Always Give Him Thanks!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Yesterday we needed to have our car attended to, as we were without our bittidz blinker signal / lights indicator. Plus our car was on a recall list and so we were most fortunate to have both done at the same tidbitz time.

While we waited for the service on our car, we met with a close friend for brunch / lunch. Eventhough we had a gift card, she ended up treating us to the meal and said: 'Have the Grace to accept this.' My tidbit response was 'Thank you. By your graciousness, we gratefully act with Grace." (Those 'perfect' words just happened to 'come out' of my mouth!) I also wanted to give the waitress a generous tip (as we had taken up the table for some time); but our friend said: "Not to worry, she has been well taken care of and she will be happy."

Also, I saw two friends at the restaurant that I had not seen for years. Upon their leaving, I went up to them and obviously was glad it was them! I said that I decided I would take the 'risk' to come over to them, as I felt if I had done nothing, and had it been them, the opportunity to say hello would have been gone. Plus he is a 'Scotsman' like Alan and I brought them over to our table for a few tid moments, so that the two men could enjoy their heritage. It was a fruitful day!

There are still some other bittid issues concerning our car, and albeit, we are appreciative for yesterday's quality service, we are prudently having the remaining issues taken care of at another reputable company, as the same work can be done for FAR less money. The savings are major!

Yesterday, I did not do my 30/30 as we did not arrive home until later in the day. We gave Him Thanks for the events of the day, enjoyed a simple meal, and appreciated being home. That being said, I was up early this morning and have 'caught up' and I have been meditating upon the Word.

Today too, I kept receiving / hearing the 'thought' to REST. So, this afternoon, I ended up watching Dr. Charles Stanley on T.V. (It is the same wonderful sermon that I referred to in my post of January 11th). It was an extra bit of reassuring 'music' to my ears, because we have had a lot happening all at once. I did not do the Tony Gazelle walk either; just completely chilled out.

Speaking (or writing) of the word 'chill', we are inundated again with thick heavy fog and the damp cold air goes right through you.

In my reading / study of the Bible, this one verse in Matthew 5:11 jumped out at me! "Blessed are you when men cast insults at you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, on account, of Me." That gave me tidbits of heart and good cheer as we have 'had our bittids of moments.'

To also quote myself from my January 12th post, "Yesterday, I read the story of Isaac and Rebekah and wow, it felt so real! Honour, integrity, and wonderful qualities! Will share my thoughts in another post." In a nutshell, I like the character of the oldest servant of Abraham; he was like his master. As I digest the Old Testament, the stories are 'alive' to me; as if I am right there. I am embracing this history and I am finding also that this is a wonderful background to absorbing the life of Christ in the New Testament.

Tonight, we are going to enjoy and appreciate a special dinner and give thanks to Him for helping us through these recent storms. The more I read of the Bible, the more I SEEK and joyfully so! He does Provide! Simply Trust in Him as per His Promise and do not rely upon your own resources. If you Honour Him (by Believing and having Faith in Him to Provide) He will Honour and Favour your Prayers.
Matthew 6:33 - "But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you."

I love the Psalms! Psalms 119 is an awesome chapter to read! I like this photo image!

Peace and God Bless.

Appreciation for our Blessings!

Good Evening or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Well, it has been an interesting tidbitz of a day! We are now home and appreciative for our Blessings.

We had some bittidz matters that came before us early this morning and caught us unaware. That being said, we are Seeking Him all the more to help us through situations that are not right.

We also had our first tidbit experience with a coin operated laundromat this afternoon. It was quite interesting and while the items were in various washing machines, I chose to make the best of the waiting process. ie. I read the Bible Chapters that were a part of my 30/30 Challenge. I also had the time to 'meditate' on the various verses. Yesterday, I read the story of Isaac and Rebekah and wow, it felt so real! Honour, integrity, and wonderful qualities! Will share my thoughts in another post.

In case you are wondering a bittid, why we went to the laundromat, our washing machine is no more. Has been like that for several months and we have done the tid washing by hand in the tub. Well, time to re evaluate and we did. Eventually,we will get a new washing machine and most likely a matching dryer to replace the dryer (as we do not know how long the dryer will be around and more prudent to find a pair). We are thankful for our Blessings, compared to other less fortunate areas of the world that have NO water and so forth. We are grateful that we have the availability of running water, both hot and cold. We are relieved that we have found a location to wash our items; until timing permits us to take care of the matter.

A dear friend of ours sent us the following awesome message from Kenneth Copeland Ministries this morning. A heartfelt thanks to our special friend! Ironically, today's Bible reading, Matthew 14 was the next Chapter that I was 'designated' to read! TRUE!!!

"Don't Look at the Storm

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

– Matthew 14:30-31
If there's any way the devil can get your eyes away from the Word, he'll do it. He'll cause trouble. He'll make the circumstances around you pitch and roll like a rowboat in a hurricane. He'll do anything he can to get you to concentrate on the realm of the physical senses and the situation around you instead of on the promise of God—because he knows that if he doesn't, you'll take that promise and beat his brains out with it.

That's what he did to Peter. When Peter first jumped out of the boat that day in response to Jesus' word, what happened? He walked right across that water without a problem. His whole being was fastened on that word Jesus had spoken to him, "Come!"

But when he took his eyes off that word, he started looking at the storm. He started looking at the impossible thing he was doing. After all, he was a fisherman. All his training and experience told him when the waves were that high, you were going under. He started to focus on what he knew in the natural instead of what Jesus said. When he did that, his faith slipped out of gear and he started to sink.

Don't let that happen to you. Once you get a revelation from the Word of God, hang on to it. Don't focus on anything else.

The devil will do everything he can to get you to turn loose of it. He'll stir up things around you. He'll try to get you into fear. He'll push every button he can from the past to get you back into your old way of thinking.

But don't let go. Keep your eyes on the Word of God until it's more real inside you than anything else. If you do, you'll be able to walk your way across the water just fine."

Eventhough we have a number of matters to attend to tomorrow, will be back later in the day.

Also, here is what I wrote to an 'anonymous' comment, which I appreciated and the Holy Spirit 'got ahold of me' and this is what came out!

"We are getting better at simply surrendering our will; and 'casting all our cares' upon Him; and 'leaving all consequences' to Him.
We are confident with joyful and BOLD expectation, KNOWING that He not only Provides, but that He Provides with an overflowing abundance! Hurrah for the Holy Spirit!
He wants us all to totally Rely upon Him in all regards. That way, we genuinely Honour God and He will Honour us.
Simply, we turn everything over to Him and are Prayerful and grateful for our daily Blessings.
We know He has a great Plan and Purpose for us all; so we are filled with HOPE and 'good cheer', while we steadfastly obey and wait in Faith and Trust in the Lord.
When we Seek Wisdom and Understanding. we are better equipped by Him to 'weather the wait.' Also, as a comfort and 'peace of mind', He helps / Guides us through the 'storms.'
It is always in His timing; not ours. We leave it all in His Awesome Hands. He IS our BEST Advocate and we turn over ALL matters and troubles to Him.
He Knows what is best for each and every one of us. He wants the BEST for all of us. That makes it much easier to daily act with Grace; and leave all the 'time issues and or factors' to Him.
In other words, not to worry or have angst / fears for tomorrow. We choose to live and appreciate one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.
We simply leave it to Him to Provide as per His Promise. And we must always 'Praise Him in ALL Things!' Both in the good times and during the bad times.
Our circumstances are only temporary; nothing compared to our eternity! When one truly Seeks Him and Invite Him into one's heart, things change."

Hope this is all a bit of an uplift! I love this photo image as it gives me such an inner comfort and a peaceful calm.

Peace and God Bless.
