Reflection and Giving Thanks

Good Morning, or whatever the best greeting is to you, in your part of the world!

Methinks the above salute may sound a tid redundant to you each and every day; however, I like to bring the best bit out in everyone!

Yesterday was a full day; was out most of the day on appointments and by the time we returned home, it was nightfall and well into the dinner hour. My apologies for not having written a post; because I enjoy writing daily 'tidbits and bittids!'

This morning is a very dreary, dark, and rainy scene; and we are most thankful it is the weekend. We have a lot of tidbit decisions to ponder over the next few bittid days. Thus appreciating a 'quiet' weekend will be good; to calmly gather our thoughts for next week's itinerary.

Have been 'soaking up' the Bible as of late; as it has been both refreshing and encouraging to my spirits, during these turbulent times around the globe! I was 'Directed' to a section; and it happened to be Luke 8. Wow! - Just what I was needful of 'seeing' and 'hearing'; the 'parable' about the 'sowing of the seed'(Word of God). Before I read Chapter 8 in its entireity, I was immediately 'Guided' to verse 15: "But that on the good ground are they, which, in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience". Methinks it would be a good tidbitz if you refer to Luke Chapter 8. I also enjoyed Chapter 6!

However, to appreciate a better 'Understanding', will be chronologically revisiting the wonderful stories of the Bible; starting with Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and so forth. Am also 'absorbing''Revelation Unveiled' by Tim LaHaye; and with what is going on in the world, there are very obvious 'signs'; and it is just a matter of time.

Tidbit - If you are feeling 'down', fearful, or whatever bittidz emotion fits, you may find comfort and solace from reading and or turning to the Bible. Also, 'PATIENCE', while you 'wait' for Him to Provide Solution; and having the 'FAITH'; and to "FEAR NOT", as He says; will assist you in ALL your daily struggles / battles.

Bittid - Can not 'stress' it enough! 'KEEP IT SIMPLE', for each and every day! As well as, to remember to always 'Praise Him In ALL Things' - regardless of your personal circumstances. Choose to be positive, upbeat, and CONFIDENT; and do not allow your obstacles to 'bog you down'; thus 'enabling' you to be 'distracted' and lose focus or touch. Reflect, and be genuinely grateful for your Blessings; as in Giving Him a daily 'Thanks of Thanksgiving.'

I am happy to have my Mum's Bible; as it is 'old', and it was handed down over the generations; and the pictures are still, so vividly beautiful! As the expression goes: 'A picture is worth a thousand words'.

Tomorrow morning, I look forward to watching the Vision Channel re: the Schullers ('Hour of Power'), Joyce Meyer ('Enjoying Everyday Life'), and Charles Price ('Living Truth'). You can refer to my earlier posts (Nov 11/07; as well as more recent posts etc) if you wish some background; and / or to tune into them, as they offer solid teachings and encouragement.

Here is wishing you an extra special and meaningful 'Thanksgiving' weekend; as well as joyfully appreciating a 'Thanksgiving' for each and every day! I love the above photo image; looks so cosy and friendly!

God Bless.
