A night to remember!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Thank Goodness for coffee! Am very appreciative of my 'elixir' this am! We have a full day before us; however, I wanted to write a bittid before tidbit things start percolating!

Watched the U.S. Election results last night; and the coverage presented by CNN and CBC was more than excellent! I thought Senator John McCain gave a noble and heartfelt speech; as he rose to the occasion with Grace, Honour, and Truth. We are disappointed that Senator McCain was not elected to be the next President (we would be Republicans if we were Americans); however, we feel that both he and President Elect Obama will be working conscientiously together towards restoring America! Unfortunate 'up hill' battle all along for Senator McCain; and even as a 'good man', 'the deck stacked' was against him. ie the last 8 years; that is hard to shake; and both Alan and I feel that Senator McCain did the best he could, under the very challenging circumstances. Also, with the September financial crisis, that simply added more 'fuel to the fire'; alas. However, Senator McCain said he had no regrets; and that instead of Obama being his opponent, he was / is now his President. Also, Governor Sarah Palin; I think under the glare and scrutiny of the public eye, she stood up exceedingly well; and this just helps her to be more formidable in the future.

Could not believe the crowds in Chicago! Thousands upon thousands! Wow! Obama's oratory and delivery was fantastic; brought tears to my eyes! Eventhough we would have liked to have seen Senator McCain elected as President, we were in awe of the HOPE that Obama has given to ALL Americans. President Elect Obama has given the United States a new HOPE; and I believe that he will do what it takes to make the American Nation great again; CHANGES and all! I believe he will surround himself with good people, and will be there for all. Also, Senator Joe Biden; congratulations to him; he will be a good Vice President. I am excited too; that history has been made; and now we will look forward to what the future will bring!

Will be back with bittidz later; but I just wanted to share this positive tidbitz at the start of the day! 'HOPE is in the air' for ALL Americans.

Tidbit - 'OH What a Beautiful Morning!'. Wonderfully exhuberant song! I agree with Joyce Meyer of 'Enjoying Everyday Life'; about having a good attitude! You can refer to earlier posts if you wish!

Bittid - No sense crying over spilt milk (the past). Look at the positive (future); and enjoy living one day at a time (present). HOPE! Best to be joyful instead!

Congratulations to everyone!

God Bless.
