'Enjoy the Journey'

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Today has been unusually quiet; no phones, no people, no nothing. Methinks, because of the Remembrance Day Holiday this past Tuesday, it has been a 'short week'.

However, we have appreciated this day of total tidbitz rest; and it has been just 'what the doctor ordered!' Have enjoyed a fire (the 3 hour fire logs are great; have gone through 3 of them!) for most of the day; got up early, when it was still dark outside, and just 'putzed about' for a bit. Then took our Blue for his tid walk, appreciated my 'elixir' few cups of coffee, then started cleaning out our display glass / mirrored cabinets, which turned into an all day task.

As it happened, the bittidz time just flew; and it was such a tranquil therapy! Even with glass doors on the cabinets, it is amazing the amount of dust that creeps in between the cracks. I have collected Lady Head Vases since 1991; and what a difference dusted and cleaned out cabinets make! Apart from the dusting etc, I relocated the 'ladies' for a 'change of scene'; and I could swear (LOL!) that their faces appeared to have a happier countenance! If you wish, please refer to my post of February 27, 2007, which gives you a bittid of tidbit background on Lady Head Vases. Plus my post of August 3, 2007; re: the above Green Glass Hatted Lady Head Vases!

There are times when you can not 'push'; rather you have to 'wait' things out. ie Projects that we have had in the works for some time. We have done everything required, so now it is just a simple matter of 'waiting' til we hear back from the individuals. We are leaving it all to Him to Provide Solution; so we may as well 'enjoy the wait!' I also reflected upon our Blessings; and there is so much to be thankful for! 'Praise Him In ALL Things'.

Tonight we are having the delicious leftover soup, 'created' by Alan yesterday. It is a rainy night, perfect for homemade soup, some French rolls, and a glass or two (LOL!) of our South African Red Wine (Two Oceans). Also, there may be an exciting movie to watch; a nice relaxing evening at home.

Tidbit - While you 'wait', enjoy the journey! It is amazing how much better you feel; when you accomplish 'stuff'.

Bittid - If you are able to take some time out for a bit of R & R this weekend, go for it! A good rest, or a tid of quiet time, is healthy and refreshing; which helps to restore clarity and a positive outlook! Methinks it is all the more vital, during these days of 'trials and tribulations', to 'keep our spirits up', and not become bogged down; or at least for not too long. You can Ask Him to carry your Burdens, He always does; and you feel as if a huge weight has been lifted from your heart.

Am going to go now for dinner (soup smells wonderful throughout our house! Mmmmm.). An early night, amd a good night's sleep sounds good! Grateful it is the weekend!

Good Night and God Bless.
