Appreciation for a Saturday morning!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Saturday morning and thank goodness! We are going to enjoy this weekend at home, and 'putz about' - ie tackling 'stuff' in our overcrowded garage etc! It is a dark rainy day; and yet, a wonderful day to appreciate being home! Particularly during these tid tough times of trials and tribulations. 'No place like home', comes to mind. Plus, Alan, with the help of our spiffy bit meat tenderizer, has marinated two of the Costco steaks (delicious when marinated overnight and well seasoned) for tonight's dinner. It is quite the tidbitz saving when you buy the Costco steaks, chicken, or whatever in a family pack! Went also yesterday to our local grocer in the Safeway, and picked up some romaine lettuce,
red potatoes ( Red potatoes are healthier than the white potatoes re: cholestoral); and that will be a simple, yet good accompaniment to our bittidz repas. Along with a glass or two of the South African (Two Oceans) red vino.

Mentioned in yesteday's Tidbit - "Sometimes there are 'things' you can not demand an 'instant change'; ie as in an 'attitude'. We have encountered various 'attitudes'; and methinks we will just 'step back'; eventhough it is hard to do. Have done everything we can. As the tidbitz expression goes, 'You can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink'".

Would like to add a tidbit, that we (all of us) should not 'demand'; instead, we (all of us) can Pray for Attitude 'Adjustments' (for all of us) each and every day. 'Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you'. Sometimes, when there appears to be an 'impasse', best to 'let go' and turn it over to Him for His Purpose.

As per yesterday's Bittid - "Regardless of your circumstances, make the bittidz best of it! It is amazing what transpires when you are genuinely joyful! ie Invite Him into your heart; and you will be forever 'changed'; because you do not look at things the same way ever again. Do not be upset for long, if you are criticized, lied about, etc. thus being made the 'scapegoat'; instead Rise above everything, ACT WITH GRACE, and have a thankful and yet humble heart!"

A bittid, Ask Him for 'Understanding' and for His Guidance, and have the Faith that He is your Advocate! 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Light'.

Love the above photo image; and if you wish, please refer to my post of October 29th, ie 'Enjoy a Morning Calm' for further tidbitz/ bittidz.

May be back later with some more bittidz / tidbitz. We watched a very inspiring movie last night; however, at the bit moment, can not recall the tid name of it! Maybe I need another cup of coffee! LOL! When the bittid name of the movie comes to me, I will write a tidbit post about it).

Also, am looking forward to watching and hearing 'Hour of Power' (the Schullers), 'Enjoying Everyday Life' (Joyce Meyer), and 'Living Truth' (Charles Price) tommorrow on the T.V. Vision Channel. These Evangelical 'International Bible Teachers' deliver such uplifting messages of genuine encouragement, not only applicable on Sundays, but also Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!! When one walks in Christ, He teaches us to Trust in Him; moment by moment, minute by minute, hour by hour; hence day by day. If one does this, and / or tries to do this with His Help, you will be invigorated; and finally will Thank Him for His Guidance and Directions in Understanding.

God Bless.
