Put on the FULL Armor of God!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Woke up to a beautiful sunny day, blue skies, cool temperatures. There was a heavy wind storm during the wee bit hours of the morning; and many branches and tid pieces of our garden furniture, were strewn and scattered about our patio. However, we were most appreciative for the bright sunshine today!

We have been in an ongoing spiritual 'battle' and 'the notch' has been turned up a bit more by those, who do not wish us to succeed. Alan and I believe that the closer one is to achieving their goals, the more 'out of left field stuff' occurs. Perhaps some of you have experienced those 'moments' as well!

This morning, we received mail from Joyce Meyer, of 'Enjoying Everyday Life' Ministries; and her words of wisdom are most timely! Basically her message is 'Become Dangerous to the Kingdom of Darkness'. To quote from her wonderful encouraging letter, "The apostle Paul shows us how to fight in 2 Corinthians 10:3,4: For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish stronghold (NIV)". That gem of bittid today, has given both Alan and I a tidbit more of Courage.

Also, Joyce's enlightening words, "He created you to overcome...even during the most difficult seasons. And it is in these seasons of difficulty that God wants us to fight hard and reject defeat!" Right on! Thank you Joyce! For those of you who wish to learn more, here is her website: www.joycemeyer.org which will give you all sorts of wonderful resources.

When I share my blogs, I hope it is of encouragement to all who read my daily posts; however when I write, I generally feel better. We are also 'in the midst of a storm' and there are 'tests' happening at the same time. We are shaking our heads at some of the 'stuff'; and yet we know it to be REAL; as in a spiritual 'battle'. However, perhaps the lesson for Alan and I, and others, IS to Take the Leap of Faith in Him; and KNOW that He has Overcome the World! To take a confident stand, a peaceful joy and have a calm comfort that He has already WON! And that, we should FEAR NOT!

So today, we have been in an 're evaluating mode, reassessing our situation, reflecting, and reaffirming our FAITH in Him to Provide! Joyce's uplifting letter arrived right just at the right tidbit moment; and she suggested to put on every piece of God's armor.

Please feel free to refer to my bittid post of May 25/07. Also, here is the Armor of God.

"Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins
with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be
able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one. And take the
helmut of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God".
(Ephesians 6: 14-17)

We are having our bittidz challenges (but then, who isn't?) and I must write, certain banks have been most disappointing; and if we were vastly wealthy, I would say 'goodbye' to the banks. Like 'rules' are necessary; however, they should be 'reasonable'. ie. Everyone now, is so fearful of making a mistake, that 'they' have chosen to do nothing, unless you are a '24 karat gold' customer. 'They' say they are here to help; 'well' ARE 'they?' (You can refer to my tidbit post of June 13/07 if you wish re: 'Well' being a rather deep subject).

With the current financial global crisis, affecting us all, it would appear that the banks are creating more of a hindrance than a helping hand; particularly to those with small businesses, worthy of longterm success. Can any of you relate? I am sure some of you can! 'They' now are so fearful for 'their' own survival mode tidbitz, that 'they' are actually contributing to making things worse! But then, 'they' may not appear to see it that way; because of 'their' bittidz insular fears of 'doom and gloom' etc. Should include, that this is not stemming from the everyday bank employees, it is the bit 'rules and regulations' that have been created, 'in the system', from 'on high'; thus 'fear' trickles down through the bank ranks and thus nothing takes place. 'Frozen', if you will.

Plus, due to the GREED of CEO's in various Mortgage / Investment / Brokerage Companies (think you are aware of the companies, in the United States), there is now the present financial dilema around the world.

However, we are doing our best, taking little tid steps at a time; and the expression: 'The Journey Begins With One Single Step', is the route we are on; with Him Guiding us! He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Light!

Tidbit - Do not allow yourself to be 'swallowed up' or defeated by these turbulent times. Stand up; and Put On the FULL Armor of God! Be bold; not fearful!

Bittid - It is more important than ever too, to 'Praise Him In ALL Things!'

Once again, many thanks to Joyce Meyer for her uplifting thoughts for today and ALWAYS!

God Bless.
