Happy October 1st!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Another beautiful Fall morning! Apparently the forecast as of tomorrow, and for the next few days, is for major rain and high winds; so am appreciative of the glorious sunshine and its warmth today!

Alan is off to the doctor to hear about the results of his MRI, that he had done 3 weeks ago. Most likely, 'something' has shown up; and at least with today's sophisticated technology, 'something' can be done to improve his knee. His knee has been extremely painful for these last 13 months; ever since he fell through a rotted piece of deck at Pasley. You can refer to the post - ER, Sept 3/07 for bittid details, if you wish a tidbit of background.

We are looking forward to returning to Pasley to celebrate our Canadian Thanksgiving; and we are going to keep things simple! It was my brother and his family's 'turn' this year; however, they are unable to go; so we are all the more appreciative of being extended this courtesy. For the family that has 'PIG' (2 years in a row), the other family has Thanksgiving; and we worked it out, that if one family is not able to go, then it falls to the other family. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Tidbit - 'Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you'.

Bittid - Keep things simple and have an open mind; to be 'flexible' and have understanding.

Speaking of 'understanding', in the movie 'Solomon and Sheba'; Solomon (I love the name, Solomon) was a strong, courageous, and wise king. Perhaps one of the best in history. He Prayed to Him for 'understanding'; and that trait stood him in good stead throughout his reign.

Will update in a bit; am going to go and tackle a tid of tasks, while Alan is out. Love the above photo image; very similar to our boulevard scene.

God Bless.
