Have empathy towards the elderly.

Good Evening; or whatever is the appropriate greeting to you, in your part of the world!

We have had a 'busy' time. As mentioned, Alan's Mum is in the hospital; and it is not ideal. When my Mum went in a tid few years ago, she never came out. She passed away within the 10 bit days she was there. This is a very similar situation.

Alan's Mum does NOT want the siblings to be told she is in hospital. She feels, 'they' will do 'more harm than good'. Unfortunately, she may be right. The 3 siblings do not have their mother's best interests at heart; and that has been illustrated several times over. A bittid: Alan's Mum told Alan that he has treated her better and done more for her and her husband, this past year, than the combination of the 3 kids in the last 20 years. Not an endearing compliment towards the other siblings. She is sad; that things are not yet resolved, before she passes away. Particularly when the Mum asked Alan to call the oldest sibling the other evening, to let her know that she loves and forgives her. The sibling said, "I do not want to talk to you" AND, she literally HUNG UP on Alan. Once again, 'By their own words, deeds, and actions, they are convicting themselves'.

Today, his mother spoke of what arrangements she wanted made for her memorial service. She only wants GENUINE people to be at her funeral....So, hmmmmmmm. Interesting piece of a tidbit, isn't it?

The poor Dad is going out of his mind; and needs to be reassured every few minutes -about his wife and everything else. Tragically, he does not remember much, and asks the same questions a few tid minutes later.

Tidbit - Appreciate your youth! You only go around once!

Bittid - Have compassion for older folk; because one day, you are going to be in that age bracket. It is all about the quality of life.

Alan and I figure that we will just go to our beloved Zihua, for x no. of months per year; and have a housekeeper, when we reach that stage!

Am now going to call it a day; and say Good Night; and God Bless.
