Attitude

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the appropriate greeting in your part of the world.

Do not know where to begin; but in a 'tidshell', Alan's Mum is 'slipping away'. The Dad is distraught; naturally; however, with his dementia, it makes matters worse.

I listened to Joyce Meyers this am (on the Vision Channel; I have mentioned her in previous posts, as to her wonderful program!) and I would like to share a bit of encouragement to all those who are reading this blog.

Tidbit - Joyce was basically saying that so many of us 'wait' for a better set of circumstances; before we can be 'happy'. ie. We tell ourselves, that when the situation is solved, then we can be 'happy' once again. What is genuinely needed, is a change in attitude. ie. To be 'joyful and happy' DURING times of challenge and strife...Hard to do in difficult moments; however, if you 'Glorify God', then it is in the 'waiting' on Him, that you are, indeed, joyful and happy within. Thus a restored peace and a calm resides.

Bittid - Make each and every day 'count'; in other words, do not let your 'woes' pull you down. There are also times when your body and spirits are 'worn down'; well just 'rest'; as 'rest' is good. Also, just ask Him to uplift you and take away your burdens and sorrows; it is amazing what happens!

Must go for now. However, here is wishing you all a nice R & R Sunday.

God Bless.
