'TGIF' Day!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Today has been one of 'those days'. We have made a number of tidbitz telephone calls on many fronts; and once again, we now must 'Wait upon the Lord' to Show us the Way, Guide us, and Provide Solution. We did have a major disappointment; yet, we 'turned it around'; thinking, 'Well, it could have been far worse'; and we may as well work with what there is (or isn't) that appears before us. However, both Alan and I are VERY thankful it is the weekend! We will be 'working on bittidz things' over these next couple of days; in preparation for next week's projects! Methinks, next Friday will be here, before you know it!

This Friday afternoon I 'puttzed about' in our home; 'reorganizing' various items in our cabinets / shelves to create a 'less cluttered' display. A 'new clean look' has emerged; and is now a refreshing tidbit sight to the eyes! Whenever there is dismaying news, I am given 'Direction', to 'rearrange' certain bittid pieces; and I experience a quiet CALM and a joyful confidence!

Tidbit - Keep and / or adopt a CALM, as well as being appreciative of your Blessings; and be grateful that your situation is far less dismal, compared to so many unfortunate others throughout the world. 'Praise Him In All Things' is a wonderful uplift and it helps you, to just 'keep on trekking!' Also, He wants us to Lean upon Him; as He does not want us to Rely on our own understandings. 'With Him, all things are possible; without Him, nothing is possible'; very true.

Bittid - Ask Him to carry your burdens; He does not give us more burdens then we can handle, at any one time. Amazing what happens when you simply Ask Him to 'carry your burdens.' He does! He wants us to ENJOY; and not be 'downtrodden' etc.

Am savouring a glass of South African White wine. Skal! We are just about to enjoy an 'Italian evening' tonight. ie Alan's homemade spaghetti sauce (he made a whole batch; and we take some out from our bit freezer, as needed) over svelt spaghettini, garlic bread, parmesan cheese, and a Caesar salad! Last but not least, a glass of South African red wine! Later, we will tune into a couple of movies. Glad we have a T.V. in our bedroom; so that we can just appreciate a tid of R & R, at the end of a busy week. Whew! "TGIF Day!' (Thank God for Friday) as the expression goes. The above is a picture of our fireplace (You can refer to my post, 'Rest and Peace', of Jan 11th, if you wish).

Here is wishing you a peaceful and tranquil Friday evening.

Good Night and God Bless.
