'Bittidz Bites'

Interesting.....

Just wrote a tidbit post this morning, about seeing a 'flock of geese'; actually two flocks. Then there was a 320 Airbus plane, shortly after takeoff from New York city airport, that went down in the icy cold Hudson River; the bittid cause 'possibly' being due to a flock of geese; some of which may have made contact with the engines. However, the factual cause has yet to be determined; this was 'heresay' from witnesses from nearby downtown buildings. The pilot prepared everyone to brace themselves; and he very skillfully and CALMLY sailed the plane along the water. Apparently, the plane was near '42nd Street'; well, how about 'Miracle on 42nd Street?' Due to the CALM and astute asap actions of boats, ferries and everyone involved, all the 150+ passengers were rescued; and only a few treated for hypothermia. This is indeed a wonderful Blessing! It is a wonder that the plane did not break apart or sink upon impact! Awesome that the pilot could land the plane on the water; as opposed to land!

Also, re: the Gaza Strip (If you wish bittidz background, please refer to posts of Dec 30th; particularly of 'Tidbitz thoughts'), the Israeli bombed one of the U.N. locations in the Gaza Strip. Well, the 'U.N' obviously are not pleased; however, the bombings were in retaliation to the launching of bombs and rockets into Israel, that came from the U.N. Headquarters site! Why are the Hamas using these areas to stage their rocket launches?? Explain that one!

The media are doing their coverage; yet this actual tidbitz data re: the Gaza Strip should be covered in MORE depth. Both Alan and I are wondering whether the 'casualties' seen on T.V. are for real or staged? Also, the Hamas perhaps may want to have a 'cease fire' for a year(???) and have Israel leave the Gaza Strip. Well, excuse me - The Jewish have the right to be there; and furthermore, they repeatedly asked the Hamas to stop the bombing. After three years of not listening, Isael had ENOUGH! The Hamas are reported to be hiding in their caves underground; whereas innocent 'civilians' are taking the brunt of the assault. The Gaza citizens have been 'set up' and misused by the Hamas. Lest we forget, the Hamas and the Hezbollah are on record, that their prime directive is to destroy Israel; and they do not recognize its right to exist!

A tid change of topic: daffodils are now being sold in the stores! LOVE daffodils; and the above bit photo image! To me it is a heralding of better things to come! Let us Pray and Hope for Peace throughout the world.

God Bless.
