A Joyful Sunday!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Am glad it is Sunday! It is a mixture of rain and snow; however so nice, to simply enjoy embracing today, our cosy home, and Thanking Him for all our Blessings!

As per yesterday's post 'Skal to Saturday Evening'; for those of you, who wish to know more and to genuinely 'seek Him out'; best to tune into 'Hour of Power', 'Enjoying Everyday Life', and 'Living Truth' (or other programs that touch your heart); to gain a more aware understanding of Him.

Dr. Robert Schuller had various guests; and they have wonderful messages / experiences to share with us! ie Mike Flint, who, in his inspiring book,'The Senior'(mikeflint.com); writes how he, at age 59 yrs, has made a 'comeback' to playing football again! He believes that his Faith in Jesus Christ, inspired him to 'try', to believe, and not to be afraid of failure. As Mike says: 'You just have to try, Trust your Faith in God!' Methinks that is pretty awesome!

'Hour of Power' - "Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer (another guest) is senior pastor-teacher of Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, California. One of the largest congregations in the United States, Faithful Central worships together in The Forum -- the legendary former home of the L.A. Lakers. As he passionately pursues God's will and wisdom, Bishop Ulmer shares a message of God's love, hope, power, and truth -- the truth that can set anyone free in Christ. Join the dynamic Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer and Faithful Central Bible Church today...and take your walk with Christ to the next level!r of Power' - "

Thought it 'helpful' to give you a bit of "googled" background about Bishop Ulmer. He was basically sharing about the 'Champion in You'. ie. "To deposit TRUTH into your Spirit, that you ARE a Champion! He suggested that Mike Flint is a 'champion', the Childrens' World Choir, Mike Phelps in the 2008 Olympics, (and so forth); that we are all 'champions'. Best if you also refer to Romans 8: 38 & 39, 2 Corinthians 9:8, and Joshua 1:5 for clarity and empowering encouragement. In other words, NOTHING can separate us from the Love of God, and we are more than Conquerors', as He is on our side; and always our Advocate! God always has the next move (Bishop Ulmer's analogy about the chess game ' Checkmate' is good!). Am glad I heard Bishop Ulmer today; reaffirmed the 'champion' within us all! That is a HUGE Blessing for each and every one of us! To 'keep on trekking' and always have a solid FAITH in Him.

Today is the Super Bowl! Also interesting that Mike Flint was on the 'Hour of Power' today; am thankful for that 'no coincidence' happening as well! Re: 'Super Bowl', it is invigorating to see all the excitement and flurry of joyful activity; regardless of what doom and gloom is occuring around the world! Good on them! May the best team prevail! Personally, I am cheering for the Cardinals, because they are the 'underdogs' (60 years, having not won a Super Bowl?) and their Q.B. Kurt, Warner, who is a Christian, is highly thought of by all of his team mates. He has made them all better because of his qualities as an individual!

When Alan was out earlier to pick up a few brunch goodies for our delicious bacon & eggs, he surprised me with a bottle of champagne, a fire log, and bunch of daffodils! Thank you Alan!

Tidbit - Appreciate random acts of kindness; and think of them as 'Blessings'.

Bittid - There are NO coincidences!

Am going to sign off for the tid moment; and watch a bit of the Super Bowl!

God Bless.
