Always learning

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Was up early, put on the coffee, 'opened the house', lit a tid fire, and now I am set to blog a bit! Eventhough, it is a gloomy rainy morning, it feels 'nice' to be 'an early bird'; when all around you, is quiet and calm. Appreciatively peaceful and reflective moments, as I savour my brewed 'elixir!' Will admit, I did hear the robins singing their poignantly beautiful song early this morning; very uplifting and comforting to one's spirits, methinks!

Forgot to mention that while we were out doing some errands the other day, we came across some chopped up wood in the lane. Inasmuch as the pile was rapidly decreasing, and was there for the 'taking', we joyfully 'helped ourselves!' There were only a few large pieces of wood remaining; so at present, they are 'drying out'. One of our neighbours hopefully has an axe; so that Alan can chop the wood up into great fire logs for them and for us! To us, 'finding' the wood, is a Blessing; particularly since a lot of the stores have recently 'run out' of the 2 and / or 3 hour burn firelogs; due to the past Arctic air temperatures and masses of snowfall.

We are working on our tidbitz projects; and now it is a matter of 'waiting' for one last bittidz detail. When that is done, we can assemble everything together; and positively tackle the next step.

In some matters, 'you can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink'. Very true tidbit. Have decided to just 'let the horse(s) be' and explore other options.

Also as the bittid expression goes, 'one should not kick a gift horse in the mouth'. Both Alan and I have been like 'gift horses' to a few people; considering their needs and fragile natures, before ours. However, you can only do so much. Perhaps we have been 'enablers'. We will be making some major decisions / changes today and over the next few days; and if there are 'hurt' feelings, I'm sorry. We have been patient and very fair; perhaps a bit to our detriment. At the same time, I am Asking Him to Guide us and to carry our burdens; amazing how much better you feel, when that occurs.

On a 'brighter' note, the picture is of our enamel china mini tid teapots. May take some individual photos, for more clarity for you. Also, am Blessed to have 'captured' glowing skies the other night; you can refer to yesterday's post if you wish a bit of background. I may post some other pictures of the 'majestic skies' as well!

Have to go for now; may be back a tid later today. Hope your day is a good one!

God Bless.
