'Joyfulness' can become second nature!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

The day has flashed by far too quickly! Was up early; and have been on the go ever since! We have been 'tied up' with our business, and we are 'putting it to bed' for the evening. One needs to know when to 'call it a day'; particularly, when we have done everything we can accomplish for today! Tomorrow is another day; and with a good sound sleep tonight, we will be ready to continue 'all over again!'

Home made split pea soup (Alan's and my combined creation!) has been simmering slowly in a large pot for most of the day; and my favourite recipe (doubled the batch!) of banana raisin muffins freshly baked! Mmmmmmm. Delicious smells throughout our home! We have a cooked ham (expires February 23rd) since Christmas, and some rather ripe 'smushed' bananas; so this is a wonderful way to utilize any and all 'leftovers'. 'Throw in everything but the kitchen sink!' LOL! My Mum always told me: 'Waste Not, Want Not'; and we do our best to not waste food; particularly during these tougher and leaner times! Also, with the millions of starving people around the world, we are not 'taking anything for granted!' We are exceedingly grateful for our Blessings; and when one is always enthusiastically Thanking Him, 'joyfulness' becomes 'second nature!' Regardless of circumstances!

Have enjoyed 'collecting' mini tidbit china teapots over the years; and finally put them in our bittid display cabinet; rather than keeping them 'hidden' from view, in a cupboard. Other bit 'items' had to be displaced; however, no matter! Looks so much better; less clutter! Refreshing too! Methinks I have been inspired by the warmer temperatures (52 degrees F); as, it has been a gorgeous 'springlike' day! I will take and post some tid photos in the near future, of these dear little teapots; they are painted with wonderful colours! ie as in the colourful scenes painted by 'Monet' and other famous French Impressionist painters of the day!

Have to admit, am a bittidz weary; so here is wishing you a nice R & R evening. We are looking forward to our homemade tidbitz soup! (If you wish, you can refer to my post of October 21st, which also has the recipe for Banana Raisin Muffins....)

Love the above photo image! We are Blessed with this wonderful oyster plate; and I always enjoy a bit of a laugh when I pass by it! The man is passionately devouring his oysters, as you can see! LOL! I LOVE oysters! If you wish some background on this plate, I have written a few tid posts; methinks beginning with last Spring.

There is a glorious sunset tonight; and I just took some pictures. Hopefully I have captured the majesty of the skies tonight! Will post those soon!

Good Night, Peace, and God Bless.
