Majestic skies!

Good Evening or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

'Well' (you can refer to post of June 13/07 re: 'well'), the day has come and gone! Just finished wonderful 'leftovers' from last night's dinner (you can refer to yesterday's post, if you wish!); and our 'split pea soup' tasted better than ever! Maybe, because the delicious meal had already been prepared previously! All I did, was add a tin of pea soup, the required water, and a tid of Madeira! Methinks, it was even tastier than last night! Perhaps it was the Madeira! 'Have some Madeira, my dear!'

Tidbit - 'Waste not, want not!' Particularly, if you are watching your bittid pennies; and if you have tins, cans, boxes, etc. in your kitchen larder, use them up in a creative and fun menu! Very economical; why not 'stretch a meal' to at least a few tidbit meals!

Bittid - Appreciate today and make the most of it! If you have thoughts / words to say to a loved one and / or to someone, best to say it now, rather than later; because it may be too late.

A classmate of mine passed away over the weekend; actually on Saturday afternoon. As per my post of January 31st, I sent her and her family an email, in the middle of the night. I was 'led' or 'Guided' (by Him) to get up out of bed and send them an email; which hopefully brought them all a bit of comfort and a peace. 'Joan' passed away in the afternoon of that day; and apparently all emails were read to her; as she still had her sense of hearing to the very bittidz end. Her daughter, who was present, said that her Mum 'saw Jesus in the room'; just before she took her final breath. To me, it was reassuring that a) that 'Joan' saw Jesus and b) that our emails reached her! Thank God, I heeded the 'inner voice' to send an email at 4:15 am! No coincidence here, folks!

A group of us classmates are going to her funeral this Saturday afternoon; we are meeting for a tid of lunch first. Out of 50, there may be about 5 to 7 of us going. Eventhough, we have all travelled in different directions, there is a strong 'bond', that continues to 'flourish' between us. I have always been considered 'a late bloomer'; and I Pray that I will continue to be a 'late bloomer' for the rest of my days! LOL!

Am posting a photo of last night's majestic sunset / skies! May post tomorrow, a few more colourful pictures of that glorious tidbitz scene! Also took some photos of our 'mini tea pots', those will be posted at another time!

As it has been a full day; we are thankful to see our bed tres soon! LOL! Hope there is a good movie on as well!

Good Night and God Bless.
