Daffodils are Blessings!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Yahoo! It is Saturday! We are thankful that it is the weekend and that we can take a bit of a refuge and solace from a busy week. My March 30th post, 'Joyful countenance!' sums things up, methinks. Alan and I are simply just continuing on in FAITH, that somewhere, somehow, a Solution will show up! We would still like to reside in our home; but it will take a major miracle for that to happen. We are ever Prayful to Him; and all I can say is that 'Our Father Knows Best.' Whatever happens, we will survive; as He has truly Sustained us thus far. Reflecting upon our tidbitz experiences, we can see where He Stepped in to Help us. That is good enough for us!

With the meltdown, things have been / are tough (but then we are not the only recipients of this 'perfect storm') and compared to the devastations, uprisings, upheavals, and so forth, we are thankful to be living in this tid part of the world!

It is very true too, that He is the vine and that we are the branches. ie. from John 15:5 - "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing." Have to admit, that there WERE times when we have 'sort of' relied upon others. Looking back, not practical nor wise. In other words, He must be the FOCUS of our attention.

The best tidbit is to simply Rely Upon Him; as "He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Light." We have gone through many a bittidz hoop (refinancing etc) and it has been an interesting (to say in the least) adventure. We have sadly observed greed, arrogance, avarice, unethical / predatorial behaviour, deception, fear mongerers, disdain, indignation, the works. Also, as an aside, it was sad and disappointing to us that we knew there were sources of help re: refinancing; however, 'they' chose otherwise. If the position was reversed, we would have have been happy to help those in need. Again, 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.'

However, we are not lamenting, as yesterday is gone. Another bittid - 'No use crying over spilt milk.' We have learned some invaluable lessons; and at the same time, we do not have hardened hearts. Compassion and Faith reside within our hearts instead.

The above pictures are of some 'fallen daffodils' that Alan picked on his recent walks with our Blue. Took these photos today; including also our funky white Picasso vase, that I made mention of, in my March 26th post, 'Thankful hearts!'. In our complex, we have many daffodils in bloom; and with the heavy rainfalls as of late, a lot of these flowers have been flattened. They have provided us with such an uplift! The daffodils are just one of His many wonderous creations and Blessings! With a gentle wash to remove the dirt cast upon these flowers, they have revived and look as good as new! Refreshing and enlightening changes abound!

Tidbit - Appreciate each day and its Blessings. Look for Blessings, if you feel you do not have any. ie. flowers, birds, a smile etc.

Bittid - Grow from your experiences and good naturedly move forward, with a greater understanding and resolve in your Trust and Faith in Him; as 'All things are possible with Him.'

Here is wishing you a nice weekend.

Peace and God Bless.
