Being joyful!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you in your part of the world!

This morning has had a good start! A beautiful Spring sunny day; total contrast to yesterday's unexpected snowfall and wintery temperatures. Eventhough it is still a bit chilly (app 48 degrees F) the birds are chirping away non-stop! What a tid of sunlight will do! 'Let there be LIGHT!'

When Alan was on his 'doggy walk' this morning, he found another 'fallen' daffodil; which was frozen solid with dirt smatterings on its delicate face. With a gentle spraying, this exquisite flower has now perked right up! I took the picture of this single simple flower in our Fenton 'tulip' vase, along with the inscripted words on the marble coaster - 'When in doubt, drink more wine'. Blue happened to be in the photo; which is a treat / Blessing as well.

A few tidbits came my way. ie. The one flower 'found'. It made me think that the best way of spreading the message of the good news of Christ, is by witnessing to 'one person at a time.' If one is 'lost', they can be 'found.' All one needs to do, is to simply invite Christ into your heart, and He never leaves you.

The wine coaster has a refreshing message about DOUBT. Wine is generally to be of uplifting good cheer; so goodbye DOUBT! He tells us to 'FEAR NOT.'

Plus, I am reflecting joyfully and thankfully that He stepped in yesterday and sustained us. We literally put a bittidz of gas (the price dropped slightly) in our tank, as well as appreciating and enjoying a tidbitz meal. Alan and I are ecstatic; eventhough we are in the midst of tough circumstances. However, enduring the adversities, we have become stronger in Faith; knowing that He Provides.

Tidbit - To begin your day in a positive way, choose to wake up with a grateful heart. If there are any burdens weighing you down, ASK Him to carry ALL your burdens. ie. Worries / doubts / fears etc.

Bittid - The message from Galatians 8:9 - "And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary." That is a good one!

We have many Blessings to be thankful for; both big and small. Eventhough yesterday's Blessing was small, it was / IS big to us! Also this morning, Alan on his walk, was fortunate to find today's newspaper in our complex's paper bin. Usually, he locates a paper that is a day or two old.

Last night we watched the movie (on the Vision Channel), 'Jacob and Joseph' and that was both interesting and enlightening. For the next bittid while, the Vision Channel is providing stories from the Bible, and we look forward to gaining further tidbit insights.

We are also thankful it is Friday and the weekend! Our good friend is coming over this afternoon with 'bubbly' and we will supply appie bittids (mini quiches from Costco). We will be celebrating her birthday; a nice way of spending the end of a busy week. Alan and I will be cheering on the Canucks in their momentum tonight; and as I mentioned in yesterday's post, ('Being Grateful!') may the Canucks "score early and often."

Peace and God Bless.
