Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world.
This morning is cooler and cloudy; and we are appreciative of the refreshing change in weather; as methinks, we could do with a bit of rain. Had we been away (at Pasley), our plants and flowers would have perished from the lengthy 'heat wave' of high soaring temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and above. Although perhaps not; as we have our wonderful neighbours who have offered to water our garden, when we are not here. We do the same for them. It is a 'nice-knit' community; and, we all look out for each other and treat each other well. As mentioned in yesterday's post, 'Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you' actively applies in our complex.
We have really enjoyed our 'stayvacation' at home. It is not costing us anything; save that we have gained an even greater appreciation for our home, garden, and barbecue! Have to admit, it has felt a tid weird not going away; but all things considered, this has been just fine. At the moment, we are, where He wants us to be.
We have various bittidz projects in the works; and better we are here to take care of them. Later, once that is done, we will be all the more Thankful for a vacation away! As the expression goes, 'Our house will be in order'.
As also mentioned, it has been a tidbitz time to reflect upon the abundance of our Blessings. ie. Be it a flowering orchid, 'sing-song' finches / chickadees etc. It has been a joyful R & R 'time out'. Due to the world's financial meltdown, we have been making several changes (like, who hasn't?); and as we are not getting any younger (we would like to think so! LOL!), we are initiating prudent provisions for our future together. Included, are also some wonderful plans; however, 'first things first'; but it is exciting to have a vision; with 'doable' projects to look forward to!
Tidbit - Important to have a 'time out'; so that your 'batteries can be recharged'; as well as 'chartering new waters', fed with new thoughts and ideas. 'Brainstorming' and / or 're-evaluating' new options is healthy; particularly if you know your life is taking a new direction for the better.
Bittid - Out of 'adversity', comes strength.
Perhaps with all the economic scenarios, we have all gained more 'understanding' and better knowledge to be better equipped to handle various situations and / or daily difficulties. Also, being 'receptive' to Christ ('Seek and Ye Shall Find') and Relying upon Him to be at the Helm; He, as our strongest Advocate, is always our Guide. 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Light'.
Hope these are bittids of an uplift to you. Have not forgotten to write some tidbits re - 'Hour of Power' (Dr. Robert Schuller - www.hourofpower.org); 'Enjoying Everyday Life' (Joyce Meyer - www.joycemeyer.org); and 'Living Truth' (Charles Price - www.livingtruth.ca). However, if you, or others you know of, would like to receive encouragement, and have questions about Him etc, best to do due diligence and check into these websites; as they provide Biblical teachings and wonderful insights.
The 'tree cutters' have just been by; and they had to remove a few tid branches from trees close to our house. The squirrels will not have the same access to our bit balconey upstairs; and there is now a lot more light, as a result. Have also really enjoyed my coffee this morning! Cheers!
I LOVE the photo image; which I have enjoyed utilizing in my posts! It is, indeed a GOOD morning! It just hit me in closing, my Dad always said to me, 'Life is what you make of it'. Methinks, too when you put your Faith and total Trust in Christ, always Asking Him for 'Understanding' and Giving Him daily genuine Thanks, and SIMPLY doing your graceful best to be of Good Cheer to you and towards others, it is amazing to see a perpetual bounty of joyful daily Blessings unfold! That is a tid of a mouthful; but every bit of it, is true!
Peace and God Bless.
