Refreshing appreciation!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Today has been an 'interesting' one. We accomplished much yesterday; and methinks, there is a bittid of a 'letdown'; as in an 'aftermath' of all our endeavours; some of which were equitably resolved yesterday. We are now on to the next step, and find ourselves in a 'wait mode' again. However, 'par for the course'. Yesterday's tidbit of good news stands us in 'good stead'; and we are all the more encouraged in our longterm quest.

Have taken four pictures of our 'upstairs office treehouse loft'; and presently, I am appreciating a glass of OBiKWA (a 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon South African red wine). Skal! The wine is hitting the spot; and perhaps will ease a bit of the pressure we have been undergoing. It is as if you have been studying hard for an exam(s); and / or preparing for a major event; and then it takes place - poof! This is like an 'aftermath'; as well as a grateful and reflective pause.

The wine apart from being delicious, is wonderfully affordable, just under $10.00. There are labels of different birds or animals on the bottles; depending on the type of red wine; be it a Merlot, a Shiraz, or whatever. Alan bought this the other day; as it was being offered as a 'special featured wine' of the day! We also enjoy 'Two Oceans' (a nice friendly name, methinks; another South African red wine) and we savour that, when it is being promoted below or at $10.00.

The 18th Century green glass is Czechoslovakian (like a Waterford cut crystal); and I always experience such a 'glowing' delight, when I enjoy a sip from this beautiful piece of antique glass. I strongly sense that our set of 8 glasses, were well loved and 'lived' a gracious life, alive with history and embellishment! That is the tid 'romantic' part in me!

The other photos are of furniture etc, that I 'moved' yesterday afternoon to create an 'airy change', as well as a more functional and beautified space. You can see our teddy bears, plus a very comfy subtle green 'reading chair with footstool', strategically placed by our phone! LOL! The mahogany table is a match to the one in our bedroom; and, if you wish, you can refer to my March 5th post, 'Stalwart' - I like that word!" to see its 'twin'.

Tidbit - Appreciate each day and all its various moments; remembering to always give Him Thanks for your Blessings. Also, 'Praise Him In ALL Things', regardless of your circumstances.

Bittid - 'Spring cleaning' is good for the soul; when there is less 'clutter', you are able to focus with more clarity and refreshed appreciation!

Cheers! Peace and God Bless.
