Having Hope

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

We have had a full day thus far; and our company just left. Fortunately, I managed to get in a bit of dusting etc; so our house was / is a tid tidier! Nothing like company to 'inspire' one to clean house! LOL!

Am going to share a tidbitz from 'Enjoying Everyday life' (Joyce Meyer - www.joycemeyer.org); she also made references to various passages of the Bible. I really appreciated Proverbs 13:12 - "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life". That sums up a lot of bittidz, methinks.

Joyce is saying that we need to be full of hope; as in HOPEFUL; not hopeless. Jesus died for us, to GIVE us HOPE. 'Hope is a favourable and confident unseen' - I like Joyce' positive description; as well as, when she says 'one can have Faith, but no Hope', and 'Hope is REFUSING to give up'. Joyce was / is also suggesting to not be afraid; and 'be happy'. ie A half a loaf is better than none' when you are HOPING for something. Joyce tells the story about the man who developed the board game, 'Monopoly', and what he and his wife, had to endure to finally reach success. Their inspiring story, offers a beautiful incentive to those (including ourselves!) to achieve their goals / dreams. I recommend you tune into Joyce online, to hear how this couple 'made it!' Good on them!

Now that I think about it, my Dad (he was a savvy and influential entrepreneur) always told me to have 'EXPECTATION'. Truthfully there were times, when his advice to me, went by the wayside; however, as of late, both Alan and I are FULL OF HOPE and EXPECTATTION; that, HE will provide the Way for our persistent endeavours. We are anticipating a Solution to the GOOD, with 'joyful expectation', from Him. TRUST in Him, is paramount; and it is in Accordance with His Will, and In His Time. Therefore, we / you must be patient, steadfast, and strong; and not ever lose sight of our / your long range vision.

Today, we have experienced some 'extra trying' sets of circumstances; and we are going to just 'keep on trekking' (like the Energizer Bunny with the drum! I LIKE that drum! Good on the bunny! LOL!). Have NOT lost my mind; NOR, have I lost my sense of humour! Humour is a 'Saving Grace'.

Tidbit - Be a 'Blessing' to all you meet! Do something kind and out of the goodness of your heart to help someone else! Give them a smile, a genuine compliment, a 'pat on the back', whatever; it may make a world of difference to them! More than you may ever know, perhaps.

Bittid - HOPE like crazy; do not give up! Leave it to Him to work His GOODNESS through you. ie Become 'healed' on the 'inside' first; the 'outside' will 'flourish from within'.

Took these five photos last night (of our patio and surrounding trees) at approx 7:45 pm, the new time change of 'Spring Forward', when we moved our clocks ahead by one hour; and receive extra daylight or 'daylife'. I like the shining lanterns or 'beacons of light'; a very encouraging comfort, and warm looking, methinks. (ie. 'He IS the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIGHT'). You can see majestic glimpses of the sunset through our skylight even! When I took the pictures, it was a gorgeous 'moment' (Blessing, comes to my mind!) with the freshly fallen snow etc! Since then, approx five inches of snow fell throughout the night; it is, as if 'winter has sprung' instead. Nevertheless, the heads of our tulips and daffodils have not been discouraged by this most recent dump of snow! Am HOPEFUL too, that we will enjoy a wonderful Spring, whenever it arrives!

Delicious dinner beckons! Pea soup actually. For some reason, I am really craving a large bowl of Campbells Pea Soup - no more, no less!

Here is wishing you a nice evening; and until tomorrow. Skal!

Peace and God Bless.
