Grateful for 'home sweet home'

Good Evening, or whatever the best greeting is to you, in your part of the world!

We have had a good day; and am glad it is the evening! We were up early today; enjoyed the morning and went to Costco and our favourite Produce Farm in the early afternoon. Came home with a larder full of wonderful goodies!

Just finished a delicious dinner! Devoured roast beef and roasted baby red potatoes cooked in a stoneware pan (a Pampered Chef creative invention!) seasoned with fresh herbs (from our bittid garden), which enhanced the wonderful smell, that had permeated throughout our house. Mmmmmmm! Also our home grown tidbit cherry tomatoes and farm bought snow peas, gave our repas a bit of tid colour! Also, prepared a delicious dish (or so I hope!) of an Apple Crisp nature; only substituted plums instead; and when it is ready, we will enjoy; along with some French Vanilla ice cream! Mmmmmmm.

We received a couple of lovely invitations for tonight; however, we are happy to 'stay in' and just 'chill out'; and appreciate being home all the more. With all the financial fear happening in the United States, our country has been affected as well. Now, we just have to 'wait it out' and are hopeful that things will 'settle down' before too long. We watched last night's Debate between Senator McCain and Senator Obama; and time will tell.

Tidbit - Do your best to be positive and upbeat; even during these negative times. Go
out of your way to do something 'special'; be it cooking a good dinner, or whatever makes you and others feel better!

Bittid - Appreciate the little things; and do things as 'simply as possible'. It makes your day a lot easier to deal with; and at the end of the day, give Him Thanks for all your Blessings; and enjoy a good night's rest.

Love the above photo image; - that is us tonight; glad to be home. Will let you know tomorrow, how the dessert turns out; and if 'yummy', will share the recipe with you!

Good Night and God Bless.
