DO what is Fair, Right, and Equitable

Good Evening,

Perhaps I am making up for 'lost time'; inasmuch as we have been more 'out of town' (as of late) than in town; thus not daily postings.

It is now a very nasty day out there; literally pouring with rain; grey skies and blustery winds to bit boot.

It has been a very weird quiet day; however, we have turned that around to get some long overdue 'house stuff' accomplished; whilst 'waiting' for the fruition of our various tid projects. Alan has made 'homemade soup' and it smells so good throughout the whole house! Basically, he has employed two prepared tins of vegetable / meat soup; and then added the tidbitz of green onions, cherry tomatoes, green peppers and savoury herb spices from our bittidz patio garden and seasonings (garlic, salt & pepper). Also, grocery bought baby red potatoes, baby carrots, canned corn, and blessed Bisto Mix (a tidbit thickening ingredient for soups, gravies and stews). A couple of pieces of garlic buttered toast, and a glass of red vino (Two Oceans; a very lovely and affordable South African Wine) will be perfect! Perhaps a bittid green salad as well!

We will be watching President Bush's Address to the Nation this evening; and we are looking forward to hearing what he has to say. Personally, I think it is strongly prudent of Senator John McCain, wishing to postpone the Debate between himself and Senator Obama at this crucial time, in favour of addressing the IMMEDIATE needs of the people. The campaign trail for both parties, can continue AFTER things have been resolved appropriately. Senator McCain wants to deal with the current financial situation first; and if I were an American, I would have to agree full heartedly. The Nation and the needs of Americans FIRST! Plus, Senator McCain has had more experience and feels he needs to be a courageous Representative in Congress; powerfully dealing with the very serious crisis that the United States finds itself in.

Also, we are glad that Senator McCain has selected Sarah Palin as his running mate; so much for the so called 'age' problem, of him being considered as 'too old' to run for President etc. And, 'the bridge to nowhere?' in Alaska? Sarah Palin's hands were tied at the time, as it was already committed to by Congress. when she stepped into office. Albeit there is a lovely road / highway built; AND, that is not to say that a bridge could not be built down the road. If and when she has more flexibilty as per her actions, words, and deeds as Vice President of the United States. We think she has what it takes to be the 'running mate'; regardless of what the press may wish to suggest otherwise. (CNN appears to be 'slanted' towards the Democrats; however, I do not think I am alone in this observation).

Tidbit - One must take a stand for what is fair, right, and equitable.

Bittid - The 'Truth Sets you Free'.

Love the above photo image with its genuine message; very true.

Good Night and God Bless.
