Enjoying each day, as a 'new day!'

Happy New Year!

Have appreciated a tranquil R & R New Year's Day! Forgot to also share that we thoroughly enjoyed our New Year's Eve. We had a tidbit taste of bubbly; along with a big 'Mac attack'. I felt the sudden urge to have a MacDonald's 'Big Mac' with fries for dinner! Although, this was a totally unusual combination,(bubbly & burger); let alone, New Year's Eve, it really hit the bittid spot! Alan and I spent a quiet night, watching some movies. ie. The latest Harry Potter movie; as well as a couple of other entertaining shows. We fervently joined in the T.V. 'Countddown' with Dick Clark in New York's Time Square; and with our glasses raised, we heartily toasted in the New Year! There was enough Segura Brut champagne left over (nice leftover!) to welcome this morning as well!

Tidbit - Treat each and every day, as if it is a 'new day!' It is always a new day; but having 'an attitude of gratitude' and daily 'thanksgiving', makes each day refreshing and uniquely special. Also let go of the past and move forward!

On 'Enjoying Everyday Life' with Joyce Meyer (www.joycemeyer.org), I like what Joyce says about a dead horse. ie. 'If the horse has been dead for 10 years, dismount'. Basically, her encouraging message - Do not get stuck in the past (grief etc); anticipate GOOD things to happen in your life. God has a GOOD Plan for each and every one of us; as He ALWAYS comes through. Personally, it is best, if you directly tune into Joyce's ministry; as she provides many invaluable insights and teaching resources.

Bittid - Be kind and gentle to yourself. Take daily time out to reflect upon your Blessings; and to genuinely 'Praise Him In ALL Things'. When you Seek His Counsel; ('Seek and Ye Shall Find'), you are given a clarity and a calm. Things are a lot simpler, particularly when you Rely Upon Him to Guide and Help you through each day.

Once again, a very Happy New Year's Day; and may you enjoy a 'new day' each and every day!

Peace and God Bless.
