Faith and Encouragement!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Before I forget, as per yesterday's post, the Chinese gentleman took us to lunch, because we gave him some turkey soup. As previously mentioned, Alan made a huge cauldron of turkey soup, consisting of holiday turkey bones & leftovers, veggies, seasonings, AND consomme soup. The longer the soup cooked, along with adding more ingredients, the better it tasted! This 'brew' has lasted us all this time; and we still have some left! Apart from being delicious and wonderfully healthy, it is very economical! Amazing all the meals that have been 'stretched', added on to, shared, given away etc - all from a 21 pound turkey from Christmas! This same turkey also fed nine 'street people'. ie. Alan made up turkey and cranberry sauce sandwiches, along with other 'TLC' nourishments of food and drink. If you wish some tidbits of background, you can refer to my December 28th post of: 'A pink rose in December'. We still have the one pink rose; it appears to still be in fruitful bloom! What an awesome Blessing, methinks.

It is another rainy and dark morning; however, at this time, I prefer rain to snow; save on the mountains! Our kitchen sink / downstairs bathroom is still quite clogged; and eventhough we have left a message for a local plumber, we have coped with this tid inconvenience. Basically running bittids of hot water and the garbarator, and scooping out the spillages of water at the same time. We have tried 'Liquid Plumber'; and we will give that another go.

Last night, we enjoyed some more of the Vision Channel. ie. Rhonda Lazerte Ministries - she is right on! Also, 'Armor of God'; is excellent as well. I joyfully absorbed, as if a 'sponge'; thoroughly appreciating their illuminating insights. A heartfelt 'Thank you' to all the ministries that give of their time and teachings of Christ.

Tidbit - 'Knowledge is power.'

Bittid - Christ wants each and every one of us to have a personal relationship with Him. Invite Him genuinely into your heart; and the Holy Spirit will Abide in you. Hence, a greater Understanding, Wisdom, Discernment, Grace, and the 'Fruits of the Spirit' etc.

Because I want to earnestly learn more about Jesus, ('Seek and Ye Shall Find'), I am going to start reading the Bible on a daily basis. ie. Beginning with the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), followed by the rest of the New Testament. Will also revisit the book, 'Revelation Unveiled' by Tim La Haye; to be better equipped during these troubled times. I love the Psalms; they provide such magnificent encouragement! David is one of my favourites! Also, as Joyce Meyer recommends, reading the Proverbs each day will be enlightening as well.

Have also zoomed around with the vacuum downstairs; now that all the Christmas decorations are out of the way. 'Amen', and a tidbit sigh of relief! LOL! Also, we have received some potential positive news this morning; and as I was vacuuming, I was cheerfully reconfirming in my heart, that He IS our Solution! Also, jubilantly 'Praising Him In All Things'; KNOWING and TRUSTING He has everything in Hand; as per His Purpose; whatever that may be. That bittid thought gives me further Solace, that He IS our Refuge and Strength! Alan and I are confidently 'waiting' upon Him to Provide His Good Plan for us.

Have to go and finish vacuuming the upstairs. Will keep you posted, when we know more!

Love the above photo image of David and Goliath! Hope today's post gives you a bit of an uplift and is of 'Good Cheer'.

Peace and God Bless.
