Ephifanies plus!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Alan and I have been on the go. Hope to share some wonderful bittids before too long, from 'Hour of Power' (Dr. Robert Schuller - www.hourofpower.org); 'Enjoying Everyday Life' (Joyce Meyer - www.joycemeyer.org); and 'Living Truth' (Charles Price - www.livingtruth.ca), that I absorbed 'like a sponge', last Sunday on the T.V. Vision Channel. However, for those of you who wish to 'Seek and Ye Shall Find', it still is best for you to check these and other encouraging ministerial websites out for yourselves.

However, I would like to quote some passages from the January newsletter from Charles Price of 'Living Truth'; which pretty much sums up various tidbits, that Alan and I have been experiencing in our walk in Christ. This particular week has been a tougher battle, than usual.

First of all - Luke 14:33 - "IN THE SAME WAY, any of you who does not give up everything in Him CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE."

Then Charles shares in his newsletter: "Obedience to God nearly always requires leaving other things behind". - 'The easy road is usually familiar, certain and predictable. But there are things which have to 'go' in order for us to walk effectively with God. This is the cost of effective Christian living.'

'Classic wisdom in our day tells us to 'Start the journey with the end in mind'. But with God, there are many times we have no idea what the end is going to be. If our security lies in knowing what is going to happen next, we are walking by sight, not by faith - the reversal of the Christian life. We don't have to know about tomorrow. We are instead to trust God who knows the end from the beginning, and allow Him to guide in His time, along His way, and for His purpose.'

That description adequately touches upon our week in a nutshell bit; as there are some major decisions that we are gravely pondering. Two of our three options, are especially dear to our hearts; and we are in the process of having to literally 'let everything go'. We have learned a lot more about 'human nature' - sad, but true ephifanies, if you will. However, we are determined to move forward; and we are waiting for Him to enlighten and direct our steps; as 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Light'. Am utilizing the above photo image again; as it hits close to home, methinks.

Am appreciating a rye and gingerale (Rye is not one of my favourites; but it is certainly hitting the spot at the tid moment!). Skal! Here is wishing you a nice R & R weekend. My apologies for not writing til now; however, it has been a week and then some. However, we are Thankful for our daily Blessings; could be far worse. The situation in Haiti, for example and / or other less fortunate parts of the world. So regardless, wa are 'Praising Him In All Things'.

Peace and God Bless.
