"Amazing Grace" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMVxzEueJ6A

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Have woken up to SNOW! I always LOVE the first snowfall; it brings out the child in me; and most likely in most of us! However, we may have to drive a fair distance later in the morning; and this is not the best day to be on the roads. Nonetheless, it is a majestic 'winter wonderland'! Did you know that no snowflake (He created) is the same; eventhough they may look the same? A tid of trivia for you.

The above is the Hymn of 'Amazing Grace'; I absolutely LOVE that song and the significant words; it grips you tight in the heart, right to the soul! My good friend, Steve, sent me this Hymn; and to quote him: "Not a typical "Amazing Grace".... very strong and really good!!!! I hope you like it.... I did! Click the link and you will need to have your speakers on......." So, thank you, Steve. The Hymn and the young mens' voices, is so uplifting to one's spirits; and perhaps during these tough times, we could all do with a bit of courageous music for our spirits.

There are NO coincidences; as I have mentioned in a recent blog, and in other posts. I had been thinking about Steve, wondering how he was doing, and ended up having a dream about him and others in his part of the world. And then lo and behold, an email arrived the following morning. 'Great minds think alike', as the expression goes.

Also, this morning at approx 5:55 am, our 'wind up' Sparrows ( a beautiful little Music Box / Gift from Dr. Robert Schuller, 'Hour Of Power'), burst into its song of 'Amazing Grace'. Only the part of 'Once was lost, but now am found' played. That gave me a lot of comfort. This musical piece of two sparrows, NEVER plays, unless it is wound up. So, go figure. All I know is, that I experienced a peaceful calm and I am grateful. This little exquisite piece is located on our small antique table in our bedroom bay window nook; and the trees directly outside, provide a home to many sparrows; so the music box is all the more 'special' to me. At the moment, it is mostly 'white' outdoors; although I can still see our pink and red geraniums, with their healthy green foliage, in our somewhat covered bittid balcony planter boxes.

More world 'doom and gloom', fearmongering, etc being heralded, on the news; as well as in the newspaper. It is good to know what is going on around us; however, we are going to do our best to hold firm and hang in there. Methinks, most people are attempting to do the same. To reiterate, the banks have FROZEN credit to most; it is as if they are looking for any and all excuses to say NO. (You can refer to yesterday's post if you wish). Will share this tidbit with you, that if we ever won the Lotto, apart from being prudent and giving, it would be great to never have to rely upon the bank(s) again! Funny when you need a bit of a helping hand, no help; and when you have an excess, they are there, 'ready, willing, and able'.

Tidbit - Perhaps you can play and enjoy 'Amazing Grace' and even pass it on to others, who might appreciate a bit of a boost! The wonderful movie, "Pay It Forward", comes to mind.

Bittid - 'Praise Him In ALL Things'; regardless of everything else. Keep a cool head; and just have FAITH in Him that He will Guide you through the 'storm'. We live one day at a time; and at the end of the day, we give Him Thanks, that we survived the challenges and upheavals of that particular day.

Hope the Hymn brings you a tid of solace! LOVE the above photo image; that is how it appears outside our windows!

Bye for now.

God Bless.
