Cedars of Lebanon

Here I am; blogging away, with cups! of coffee in hand! Hmmmmm. What to tidbit blog this rainy am! hmmmmmmm.

My friend, Cathy, (she is listed in my "other blogs" section!) posted the above photo image!I LOVE THIS PICTURE & THE SENSES I FEEL AND APPRECIATE FROM IT! I am going to "reblogcap" on her article - tid by tid, bit by bit! I do not think she will mind a single tidbit! BIT TID! -Appreciate what you can learn from others!

Now, before, I begin - a TIDBIT! - Appreciate beauty; and drink in joyfully each bit of knowledge through each tid of your senses! They say, "Knowledge is Power!" Enjoy the journey! Inhale; as if savouring a freshly brewed cup of coffee etc! Are you all ready?

"We've all heard about the Cedars of Lebanon before. This notorious tree is mentioned in the Bible 75 times. The Phoenicians used it to build their trade ships. The Egyptians used the resin for mummification and placed the sawdust from it in the tombs of the Pharaohs. Jewish priests used it for the treatment of leprosy.
Cedar is one of the most aromatic type of wood known. Their name symbolizes strength and magnificence. Here, this famous tree is resplendent with its natural beauty."

I would like to tid a bit on a bit of a tid more! LOL! Cheers! The 2 COMMENTS - my comment to Cathy's blog, and then her reply to my comment.

Gina - "WONDERFUL history! WONDERFUL TREE! The tree provides many awesome uses; back in Biblical times and today!
This was inspiring! Thank you for sharing that with us, Cathy."

Cathy - "Thanks! The Cedars of Lebanon are majestic, large and provide welcoming shade. They say the California redwoods are comparable to them........God says He will make us like the Cedars of Lebanon.......not the large part, I hope; just the strength part....that's what I want."

Tidbit - Just think of the Cedars of Lebanon; and delight in what you feel; and you will be uplifted and fufilled in many ways!
