How do you handle "curve balls?"

Still working on the curves - forever! LOL! Thought I would refresh my memory again, and perhaps, a few others; about my post of Feb 20 / 07! Because, just because.... Life is a curve ball; and it is HOW you choose to deal with the curves!

How do you handle "curve balls?" How do you wish to "catch" them or "redirect" them?

Life is but an interesting curve, isn't it?

If it is a "baseball" curve, the ball comes towards or right at you. What do you do? Strike it, maybe too hit a home run, walk, or strike out? Different ways of handling the ball and then sending it? Or, if you are not batting, you are catching or throwing the ball.

Tidbit - it is how you meet the ball; and how you interface with it! Consider how you rise up to combat, or ignore the daily challenges of life. Both have their valour; at the appropriate moment. Do you react or do you you act proactively? Do you shrink or run away from the ball; or as a batter, do you confidently step up to the plate, and take a "whack" at it? Do you give up, become complacent, OR do you take a strong stand to do what is fair, right, and equitable? If you are a catcher, do you let the ball slip away, or toss it away, or grasp it mightily? Or, if you are a thrower, do you have such an aim to redirect the ball effortlessly to its target?

Consider the "tennis ball" curve. Basically, a ball is played from one side of the court to the other side of the court; and so forth. However, how you hit the ball, determines the winning shot or not; or how you welcome the "tennis" of life.

Tidbit - There are times when the ball just has to be left in your own court. Life is a game to be played; with life skills constantly being tested, and powerful lessons always to be learned. In a tidbit, the game of life involves integrity, honesty, truth, knowing the difference between right and wrong etc. It is how you conduct yourself, and having a genuine kindness towards all, that determine how well you enjoy a meaningful life. Life has many curves; some expected and some not. You just have to be able to rise a tid of a bit above things, and simply do your best.

These are just a few tidbits for reflection and encouragement.
