Abide in Faith!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Almost a bittidz week has zoomed by since I last wrote a tidbitz post. A wonderful friend whom we greatly appreciate, and who has a special place in our hearts, recently sent these 'tidbits' to us, from Andrew Wommack Ministries.

"TAKING THOUGHTS - OR NOT

Matthew 6:31, "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?"
MATTHEW 6:25-34

The Greek word used here for "thought" is "merimnao" and denotes "to be anxious or careful". In this passage, as well as the parallel passage in Luke 12:22-32, Jesus is commanding us not to worry or be anxious about our material needs being met. It would be impossible to have no thought whatsoever about our physical needs. Even Jesus thought about His need for money to pay taxes (Mt. 17:24-27). We are simply not to be preoccupied with thinking about riches or spending our time worrying about necessities. These things will be added unto us as we seek first the Kingdom of God.

The way we take or receive an anxious thought is by speaking it. Doubtful thoughts will come, but we do not sin until we entertain them. According to this verse, speaking forth these thoughts is one way of entertaining them; therefore, don't speak forth these negative thoughts.

It is imperative that we watch the words we say. Begin to speak words in faith that line up with God's Word, then positive results will follow. If we speak words of doubt, we will eventually believe them and have the negative things that these words produce. There are no such things as "idle" words which will not work for or against us. Death or life is in the power of every word we speak (Prov. 18:21). Our words can be our most powerful weapon against the devil, or they can become a snare of the devil (Prov. 6:2).

Today watch your words. Speak only things that will express your faith, trust, and confidence in the Lord and not your fear about the situations you face."

Also, last week, I happened (NO bittid coincidence!) when I turned on the TV, to hear Doctor Bill Winston. www.billwinston.org/ in closing, refer to Mark 11:24, I am grateful that I caught the tail tidbit end of it!
Verse 24 -"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you."

This verse is a major tidbit of confidence and encouragement! This verse is so impactful and empowering! FULL OF FAITH! An awesome verse well worth memorizing, and stating it joyfully and boldly out loud several times a day! A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bill Wintson! I have not watched his program before; but I will appreciatively include his ministry along with the other special ministries, in my daily walk in Christ.

May this Biblical verse, as well as 'TAKING THOUGHTS - OR NOT' be major uplifting bittids to all those who take in these teachings, from these Blessed ministries.

It is pouring with rain and a nice night to simply enjoy a quiet evening at home. It is Alan's birthday tomorrow; and we have been given a pair of 'courtesy' movie tickets, with one free popcorn voucher. We are thinking we may go tomorrow and see the movie: 'The Son of God." We are looking forward to seeing this inspirational and insightful film! Also, the same producers had the mini series, of 'The Bible.'

I have always liked this bittid photo image.

Peace and God Bless.
