Circumstances and character

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It has been an interestting tidbitz of a week; the days have flown by. It reminds me of a tid bunch of chickadees that fly rapidly to our magnolia tree, happily feast for a quick bittidz and then gone in the next instant! Alan and I have also been fighting a bit of a bug; however, we are on the mend.

We had a few situations we had to deal with last week. Eventhough, there appeared to be some obstacles, we overcame them WITH HIS HELP AND GRACE. We ASKED Him, to move the 'mountains' that were hindering us. He removed the 'stumbling blocks' that were in our way! This has encouraged us to focus all the more resiliently upon Him! To NOT allow any circumstances to distract us from Him. Instead, keep our hearts receptive to Christ and 'press on' in the eternal victory He has provided and promised us. Know that He has an awesome plan for each and every one of us! Simply, 'leave all the consequences' to Him.

Tidbit - Seek Wisdom and Understanding and His Help daily, to make His way straight before you. Do not let any cluttering of 'stuff' or 'fluff' throw you off His track.

Bittid - Be bold, confident and expecting ALWAYS His Providence of abundance!

On Sunday, I 'rested' in the Lord; and watched appreciatively some of the ministries on TV. My tidbit suggestion is to tune into www.livingtruth.ca, with Charles Price. His message is awesome and right on! Also enjoyed listening to Dr. David Jeremiah, Joyce Meyer, and Joel Osteen's solid teachings of inspiration. I missed Dr. Stanley; but will go online to hear his message.(www.intouchministries.org). The ministries I have just mentioned, shared insights, which we had just experienced in the previous week! WOW! No bittid coincidences here, folks!

When I say I 'rested' - that is exactly what I did and do. He is my Refuge and Strength! Love the Psalms! Small wonder, David was a man after God's own heart! Once you invite Christ into your hearts, your life changes forever; as you are infilled with the Holy Spirit of Christ. He is your BEST friend, Advocate, Saviour, Provider etc.

Joyful music to my ears is from Romans 8:28 - " And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Also, the verse from Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!" jumps out at me!

Your circumstances are only temporary bittids. Never ever give up! Never mind what others say and / or do to discredit, to discourage, dishonour, to confuse, and / or to make you stumble etc. Circumstances are not what a person is; it is in the going through the 'trials and tribulations' that mold you into the true character of Christ. He loves you and wants your inner beauty of character to shine forth!

Riches and wealth are nice; but that will not cut it when your time is up. Nor will be 'getting in' to the pearly gates, with good works alone either. It will be based on your genuine acceptance of Christ; with the Holy Spirit living within your hearts. Always remember the Bible tells us that 'one must become like a child, to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.'

Also, tidbits - "Love one another, as I have loved you." "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you." "Love thy neighbour,as thyself." Know that Our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us unconditionally! All one needs to do, is to invite Him in and He will never leave you! He is all you need to meet your needs.

Again, Alan and I are very thankful for our daily Blessings! To our American friends, a 'Happy Thanksgiving'.

Peace and God Bless.
