Appreciate each and every day, as a 'mini Thanksgiving!''

Good Afternnon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Have not written a post for the last tid while. Have been fighting a bit of a bug and it finally caught up with me, as well as now claiming Alan. That being said, we still have much tidbitz to be thankful for!

Dogs seem to know if one is not feeling their bittidz best. They have that 'sixth inner sense,' methinks. Yesterday, Shadow was by my bedside for most of the day and was a wonderful source of comfort. ie. Shadow put his head on the bed, with his beautiful big brown shining eyes looking up at me; as if to say 'Get up! Get up!' Meanwhile, Alan managed to take care of everything else. I am thankful for Alan and that there is such a 'give and take' between us, as we are a team. Yesterday was the first day in years, that I had actually spent a whole day in bed; but I am determined to rally forth and nip whatever this is, 'in the bud.' Do not have time to be 'sick'; and yet, the body is saying 'rest!' Or rather, it is God Who is saying REST!!!! So I will heed His Counsel.

We have some wonderful American friends and their American Thanksgiving comes up next week. Eventhough we live miles away, it is as if we just spoke with each other yesterday. For some reason, I feel that the U.S. Thanksgiving is much more meaningful than ours (Canucks!). Large families getting together, cooking up the turkey dinner and so forth! All that being said, Alan and I treat each and every day, as if it is a 'mini thanksgiving!' "Praise Him in ALL Things."

Glad it is the weekend and Saturday night. It is cooling down and supposed to drop to 3 degrees tonight. However, where we live, it may be cooler, as we live close to the mountains. We were supposed to go out this evening; but we are not feeling up to it. Not only that, Shadow is still a 'pup' (18 months) and we would have had to leave him in the car. (He is too young too, to leave at home; as he is a 'chewer'). So, maybe this is a Blessing in disguise at this time.

Christmas is coming up. Again, I do not know who we will be spending Christmas with; but we will be thankful regardless. It just seems like yesterday, when we cooked up a turkey! (ie our Thanksgiving). Even if we are invited for a Christmas meal, we will cook up a tidbit turkey, as it provides such wonderful leftovers! Shadow too, loves turkey! LOL!

Tidbit - Make and treat each and every day as a 'mini Thanksgiving!' Also, I love this wonderful image of the succulent roast turkey!

Bittid - Always 'sow' positive thoughts! (As you will see from our friend's enlightening message. A heartfelt thanks to him).
