Working together

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It has been another full blown week. Have really been experiencing extra 'trials and tribulations.' It would appear the closer one gets to achieving 'fruition' or 'Dreams', (or the 'Visions' that He has placed before us) the 'heat' has been turned up to full throttle. We have been putting out mushrooming 'brushfires'; and upon reflection, we know that Christ has been our 'Helper' in overcoming these obstacles. We still have more bittidz challenges, but then, who doesn't?

Romans 8: 28 - "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

That verse keeps running through my head and has captivated my heart. ie. Alan and I have seen deception, lies, usurpury, inequities, etc at its tidbitz worst. The saying: 'By their own words, actions, and deeds, they have convicted themselves' is so very true; and this is exactly what is happening, even as I type. 'The stage is being set.' This upcoming week is going to be a most unique one; as the TRUTH will be exposed and brought to light by Him.

So, in trusting Faith, we are leaving everything up to Him to resolve; as 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.' We have cast all our cares upon Him; and at the same time, we are joyfully grateful for each and every day, moment by moment, as He instructs us.

This morning on the Vision Channel, I 'embraced' 'Hour of Power' (www.hourofpower.org) and Dr. Sheila Schuller Coleman illuminates about 'When your dream becomes a nightmare.' Her example about their 1936 Ford, with its 'glowing' ending' is wonderful! I love that story! Also, she expresses: "If you're in a pit, if your dream has turned into a nightmare, it's good news because Jesus is there. He will redeem your dream. Most of all, He will redeem your life." Those solid tid words touched my heart! Sheila also shares the beautifully poignant story about her neighbour and his courageous 'walk' with cancer and in Christ.

Alan and I together, then watched 'Living Truth' (www.livingtruth.ca) with Charles Price; and we totally appreciate his 'in depth' quality insights. ie. The 'task oriented types', and the 'people oriented types'; (ex. Paul and Barnabas in the New Testament; regardless of their differences in personality, priorities, and principles), both 'types' were interdependent and vital to sharing a genuineness in His Message and in His Service. For those of you who wish to 'Seek and Find', and / or who want to be refreshed with a greater clarity, understanding, and knowledge of Him, good to tune into these empowering ministries.

Also, will be viewing 'Enjoying Everyday Life' (www.joycemeyer.org). Joyce Meyer is one of my favourites as well. Plus, I appreciate 'Door of Hope' with Rhonda Lazerte. Am saying a huge 'Thank you' now, to these international ministries, as well as to all the other special ministries that are on the Vision Channel; as they all provide such great encouragement, inspiration, and resources.

Earlier this year, we were given an Easter Lily at Easter. Instead of discarding it (after it thrived and matured), we planted it in a larger pot and placed it in our tidbit garden refuge. Believe it or not, this plant is approx four feet tall; with at least six bittid BLOOMS! Alan and I think this is an awesome Blessing; a miracle! Plus the lily smell is absolutely glorious! Never would I have dreamed to have enjoyed a flourishing Easter Lily with blooms, SPROUTING at this time of year! Also, our exquisite Queen Elizabeth climbing pink roses are bursting forth again, in full regalia! So are our yellow roses, also climbers! Another added Blessing, is the amazing pair of bold hummingbirds who keep whirling about our patio plants / hanging baskets, that are still mightiy flowering! More Blessings! - There are finches, chickadees, robins, stellar blue jays etc, that are seeking sanctuary in our garden.

Tidbit - Keep the Faith and do not give up on your dreams.

Bittid - 'Fear Not, For I Have Overcome the World!'

'Lest we forget, those in Christ are warriors. We are messengers, we are peacemakers, and He has asked us to 'Go Ye, into all the world, and share the message of the good news.' This means that as Christians, we must reach out to those who are not; to enlighten them to share with them our experiences and the majesty of His Gift to us, by His Grace.' Alan helps me edit (ie this particular paragraph) from time to time; and I thank him for his supportive eloquence. He is more like a 'Paul.'

Alan and I are just 'ordinary folk'. I write a blog; not only as a wee bit of a journal, but to reassuringly give some bittids of encouragement and tidbits of hope to others. Presently, Alan is making up a large batch of spaghetti sauce, with the tasty combination of homemade and store bought tomato paste! Methinks, it is 'all in the sauce'; and adding some snippets of fresh herbs from our Canadian garden produce (ie. thyme, rosemary, tarragon, Greek oregano) will provide an extra savoury and zestful flavour. Basically, throwing everything into the mix, will create an 'international' and scrumptious dinner. ie. My Caesar salad (Italian); along with 'Portugese' (from Costco) buns sliced and smothered in garlic and butter, as we forgot to buy the French garlic bread; so we will improvise there! Good old fashioned pumpkin pie (a giant pie from Costco!) and vanilla ice cream (on sale!) for dessert. And last, but not least, a glass (or two - LOL!) of South Aftican red vino to accompany tonight's repas. Our home is now filled with a pleasant fragrance of simmering spaghetti sauce! Mmmmm! Because it is a large batch, not only will we be the fortunate recipients of several dinners, we can also provide some meals to our neighbours, if they wish.

We have much to be thankful for; and are treating each and every day like a 'mini Thanksgiving!' We 'Praise Him In ALL Things.'

I LOVE the simple, straight up message of the above photo image. As a tidbit, we must work positively, creatively, and diplomatically together in this world; to foster, nuture, and, indeed, establish / have a better understanding (and compassion) amongst us all. We are all worthy components in the 'chain link' or 'mix'; be it a 'Paul'; and / or a 'Barnabas', or a 'Peter', or a 'Mark' etc. (Our son-in-law's name, is Jean Marc; nice name). Eventhough, methinks, I may have more of a leaning (encouragement) towards a 'Barnabas'; I understand the importance of working with 'all types' (may even be mix of 'types'). His message: "Do unto others, ss you would have them do unto you." is so true.

Peace and God Bless.
