An Easter Lily in October!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you in your part of the world!

Another busy week! However, want to wish whomever reads my post today, a 'Happy Thanksgiving!' Even if you are not celebrating Thanksgiving (Our Canadian Thanksgiving is this long weekend), we have many Blessings to be thankful for. ie. Each and every day is a 'mini thanksgiving' to Alan and I; regardless of 'trials and tribulations!'

This past week has been a bittid of a 'slice.' Glad to see it pass, and that now we can enjoy a restful weekend, partaking in a spirit of 'thanksgiving'.

Sadly, another friend of ours, who has been fighting cancer, has finally been given six months; and she is only a few years older than ourselves. Too young, methinks! Also, another good friend's father is in his last stage of Paliative Care; and his daughter sent us the inspirational and true story about 'Noah the Dove'. You can probably locate it on the internet. Psalm 91:4 is included in the closing message; which empowered me to look up Psalm 91:4 in the Bible. ie. " He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark." True words; and it is in our experiences of all our bit challenges, that we receive a greater level of understanding of how almighty and powerful He truly IS!

Also to quote from Romans 8:28 from the Bible: - "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." With what Alan and I went through yesterday evening, He very definitely has a Purpose and 'by their own words, actions, and deeds', they are exposing themselves - royally. We say 'Thank You' to Him; and we know that He has everything in Hand; as He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Light.' I will keep you posted when we know more.

Yesterday afternoon, I had lunch with some girl friends, and it was wonderful to get together after a number of years. Also, a few days earlier at the grocery store, I ran into a couple of friends; and the several years that eluded us, had not made any difference in our joyful greetings to one another. Very uplifting!

Alan and I are looking forward to celebrating our tidbitz Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow night; and a close friend may be joining us for the dinner. He will be confirming tomorrow. Also, a dear friend of mine is coming over on Monday, (the actual Thanksgiving Day) for tasty tid leftovers; which could be a full fledged meal, or turkey sandwiches with gravy and homemade cranberry sauce. It will be an extra special quality visit with her. Her Mum recently passed away.

Tidbit - Enjoy each and every day and be of good cheer and a Blessing to all those you meet. Be genuinely uplifting and offer heartfelt encouragement to others.

Bittid - Have a positive heart (He can do all things!) and have 'an attitude of gratitude', each and every day.

Tomorrow morning, I will be watching the Vision Channel. (If you wish, you can refer to my earlier posts for the tidbit info re: these impactful T.V. programs). Can not believe that a whole week has slipped by in a bittidz blink!

Tonight, we will be appreciating a quiet night, as well as cheering on the hockey game. Plus, it is pouring with rain, so it is the perfect Autumn night to remain at home.

The recent garden photos are of our exquisite Easter Lily (If you wish, you can refer to my Oct 3rd post, 'Working together'), that has produced six majestic blooms! 'Praise Him In ALL Things!'

Again, to those celebrating this meaningful weekend, a 'Happy Thanksgiving.' Also, may you treat and live each and every day like a special 'thanksgiving!' We all have much to be thankful for!

Peace and God Bless.
