Much to be thankful for!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world1

Not too sure where to begin; I guess where I last left off, which was Monday, December 7th. As you can see, I have not written any posts til now. Eventhough we have been doing our best to bring our endeavours to fruition; there has been nothing concrete thus far. We have quite literally thrown everything upon Him, in accordance with His Will, His Purpose, and His Plan. We trust that He has a better Plan for us, then we know of; so we are doing our best to enjoy each and every day. We are truly grateful for all our daily Blessings!

During these past four days, we have found that some of the people we have been dealing with, 'say one thing. and do another'. In a way, perhaps it is 'separating the wheat from the chaff'. Our options have become simpler.

On a more positive note, my son came over on Tuesday (Dec 8th) to help us decorate the beautiful nine foot Christmas tree, he surprised us with on Saturday morning. You can refer to my Dec 7th post, 'Bolstered spirits!', if you wish a tid of background. The tree looks magnificent (we think so!); and it has been years since we have had a live Christmas tree, gracing our home! I will post some pictures before too long. On Thursday, December 10th, was our wedding anniversary; and the seven years have gone by so quickly! We appreciated our special day; and thanked Him for His 'Answer to Prayer'; that Alan and I met in June, 2002. Have written a bit of our story; if you would like to peruse (approx 10th of) June 2007, 2008, and 2009 posts for tidbit history. We believe that He will Step in, and Answer our current Prayers; since He has 'linked us together' and has helped us OVERCOME many challenges. We have been through many many hoops and this weekend, we are going to 'step back', and genuinely 'Praise Him In ALL Things'. He wants us all to continue to focus upon Him.

Within the next bittid while, my best friend is coming over with some 'bubbly', as a belated celebration of our anniversary. Have also spent the last few days decorating our house and it is now 'Christmasized!' I was not going to put many decorations out; however, was encouraged by our upcoming Christmas dinner with all my children! Plus, the Christmas tree really adds a wonderful sparkle!

Have not forgotten to share a few tidbits from 'Enjoying Everyday Life' (Joyce Meyer - www.joycemeyer.org), and 'Living Truth' (Charles Price - www.livingtruth.ca). We have been distracted by a few other bittids this past week; so my apologies for not getting to it. I still feel that for those truly interested in learning more, it is best, to seek out their enlightening websites and / or T.V. programs.

My friend just called; and we invited her to dinner (Shepherd's pie from Costco). She offered to bring a bottle of red wine; who am I to refuse! LOL!

Will keep you posted. Here is wishing you a nice Friday evening and weekend.

Peace and God Bless.
