Lady Head Vase Collection and thoughtful reflections!

Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Where has the time evaporated? To 'play catch up', from the December 11th post, our good friend, indeed, came over for a quality visit, which ended up being five rapid hours! Alan's knee was bothering him; so he 'retired' just before 8:00 pm, and I had to turn into a 'party pooper' just before 10:00 pm to diplomatically suggest to our friend to go home! LOL!

Saturday found us doing a bittid of errands, as well as food shopping at Costco, in preparation for our Christmas family dinner. We also found a wonderful gift at Costco for our wee twin grandsons; and the price was appreciatively affordable.

As I write, Alan is bailing out the sinks; alas, the drain is still clogged. A bit of a bother, methinks. Earlier today, we went to our local Safeway and picked out a frozen 20 pound turkey on sale; and it is now in our freezer until pressed into service for the 25th December. We also went to the Dollar Store; and 'found' delightful party favours for the table. ie. Fun games.

Upon arriving home, we also discovered that one of our good friends and neighbours, has been diagnosed with cancer; she has her 'chemo' starting tomorrow. We feel just sick about it. She is not much older than we are. Alan and I may be experiencing our challenges with our endeavours, but this really makes one sit up and take tidbit notice for one's Blessings! I mentioned to her dear husband, that Alan and I will say Intercessary Prayers for them; as they are in our hearts, thoughts, and Prayers. He was very touched; and in a small way, I witnessed to him. Also shared with him, that a sense of humour, a positive attitude really helps; from what we have heard from others, who have had to face and survive the 'Big C'. We have offered to be of assistance in whatever capacity is needed. He told me that he will have a good task for us; to which I replied, "Okay, just let us know".

Earlier today, I watched the Vision Channel with my three favourite programs. ie. 'Hour of Power' (Dr. Robert Schuller - www.hourofpower.org); 'Enjoying Everyday LIfe' (Joyce Meyer - www.joycemeyer.org); and 'Living Truth' (Charles Price - www.livingtruth.ca). They are empowering with their Biblical teachings and encouraging insights! For those of you who are curious, best to do your own due diligence, and check them out! Plus, you may know of others who are 'down and out' and / or 'hurting' etc, so these ministerial messages offer solid impactful knowledge, as well as wonderful resources! I will share a few tidbits / bittids from them within the next few days. However, I recommend that it is still best if you tune into them for your own empowerment and heartfelt clarity.

Am posting some tidbitz pictures that are of our Lady Head Vase Collection. We are selling them; as it is 'time to pass on the mantle' to other collectors for their enjoyment and benefit. We will 'keep' a few; but most of them will find new homes. As time goes on, I will post some more photos; so that the Ladies can be seen / displayed more clearly. Plus, in the New Year, I will be able to take better photos.

Hope you have enjoyed a nice weekend and a restful Sunday. Alan and I have a full bittidz week ahead of us; so this weekend has, indeed, been a reassuring refuge to us. We Seek our Refuge and Strength in Him. 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Light'.

Good Night, Peace, and God Bless.
