Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!
It is a beautiful sunny afternooon; feels like summer here! There have been dark clouds hovering in the horizon; however, I am appreciative for this Blessing of bright sunlight!
Again, I have to thank my friends who are encouraging me to continue my tidbit posts. I do enjoy writing; as it is a bit of a journal. As well as being led by the Holy Spirit, to offer tidbits of encouragement, uplift, comfort, and good cheer to all those who read them.
To recap, we have been on an ongong journey and it would appear that when things appear to be moving forward, they have been 'put on hold' and / or perhaps even going 'backwards?' That being said, Alan and I will continue to muster a daily 'good fight' against our enemy, and be ready for whatever changes occur. Things are pretty uncertain and we do not know where we will be relocated to etc. We had thought of living here; yet it is too expensive.
That being said, my son recently got married on the Island and it was when we were there, that an illuminating thought came to me! I asked Alan if it would be cheaper to live on the Island. His quick response was a hearty 'yes.' So since that time, indwelt with a vision, we have been doing our due diligence to check out a number of prudently priced rancher homes. We discovered that one can get 'twice the bang for the buck' over there!
I actually fell 'in love' with the Island and its simpler way of life. As mentioned, we had already been doing our due diligence to relocate and then the Island just fell upon us. Turns out it would be an even beter plan; as we KNOW that this is a vision from Him!!!!
Plus with a fenced in back yard, we can really enjoy doing a wonderful dog sitting business. At the moment, it is very casual, because we are limited on the space and the number of dogs we can have here. One of the people (a realtor) we met on the Island, has a dog and he has already told us that he would be our first customer! (His dog would pay for the entire year's worth of taxes and then some!). He also volunteered that there is a great need for this type of service.
Also, we could plant some fruit trees, berry bushes, as well as growing a vibrant veggie garden, along with all our thriving rhodis, plants, and cheerful flowers! Alan is thinking too, of putting in a couple of bee hives (in a safe and secluded spot in the back). We would even have a few chickens; as it would be totally awesome to have fresh eggs every morning! (that was my idea; and inasmuch as we would be living in the country! LOL!). We know we can have a wonderful quality of life over there; living simply, prudently, thankfully, and joyfully! Plus, we could uplift all those who we meet, including the dogs! We would be able to flourish over there; AND, I would continue my enjoyment of writing too!
I was sharing with Alan yesterday, that I have a delightful picture in my mind re: Hemmingway and I can see him sitting back in a beach chair (under a palm tree), with a tall cool glass of something, enjoying the sea breeze, ever changing waves etc, and just enjoying his writing / setting etc.. I am kind of like that myself; however, not famous - which is just fine by me. So, in a tidbitz, I / we would really get into it! (in our garden and / or take my lawn chair to a beach close by! LOL!)
We are in our early 60's; so we are looking ahead and forward to our 'golden' years. We want to be strong and productive and continue to do so, for many many years!
We also have other pressing bittidz matters that need attending to and we have been royally let down, across the board. DECEIVED comes to mind. Maybe diferent agendas were / are in play?. We are people who 'take people at their word' and well, the 'goal posts kept / keep changing.' So, the 2 ministries last night, were just what the Doctor ordered! NO COINCIDENCES, here folks! Very impactful!
Last night I watched the Vision Channel and was it ever a 'breath of fresh air!' I watched and listened to
Joyce Meyer www.enjoyingeverdaylife.org and Joel Osteen https://www.joelosteen.com/
Their solid teachings and inspiration provided me with a renewed, reinforced resiliency! Their messages to all of us, are of encouragement etc and to not be brow beaten etc by those who suggest we are hopeless, that there is no hope for us. Methinks you get the picture.
Really appreciated what Joel said about micro thoughts and that there are those who like to 'cocoon' / control people into negative thinking / living conditions.. Best if you check into their enlightening websites as they share the message so well! Will write more on each in a bittid. Basically, they were suggesting to NOT worry and to simply 'cast all your cares' upon the Lord and Trust in Him to Provide.
So for the time being If you wish, a tid of an update, you can refer to my post, 'Timing' of June 1st. (For further tidbits, May 31st, May 30th, May 26th etc), Alan and I are 'in a state of flux.' However, we are doing our best to make ends meet. We have had trouble making our rent(s) etc. We feel badly because we have let people down. Yesterday morning I watched Dr. Charles Stanley (www.intouchministries.org) and he was talking about forgiveness; will share some bittids on that too.
Tidbit - "People do not determine our destiny. God does."
Joel shares that tidbit gem, and that bolsters my spirits! May it do the same for you. When you are 'down and out', there is the tendency to succumb to despair, dismay, discouragement etc. That is what the evil one / enemy wants; to keep us down. Do not give or allow him to gain access in you or to you . INVITE GOD IN INSTEAD into your hearts!
Bittid - "God is always going to take care of you."
Joyce shares that invaluable bittid of reassurance / message. So, we (that goes for all of us!) must continue to keep on trekking in Faith and Trust in Him. He does have a good plan for each and every one of us!
Alan and I know that we will be moving from here at some point. Ideally, we would relocate to the Island by the end of the summer. However, He may have other plans for us in the meantime; so we have to maintain a positive attitude for whatever awaits us, as per His Will, His Purpose, and Plan. We are in the process of selling our possessions etc. It is slow going / slow moving.. The timing and the situation is not 'peachy'; yet we must not permit the enemy to invade and infiltrate us with thoughts of worry, anxiety, doubt, fear, etc.(That goes for all of us!). We look forward to the vision He has given us; albeit a timing issue.
Alan and I simply have to perservere to be steadfast and be 'ready, willing, and able' to move to wherever He places us. Even if it means, we put our furniture in storage and perhaps 'house sit' or ? (we do not know) until there is resolution; which we still think is there. However, for the time being, we do not have the resources to move, let alone store the furniture. Am thankful that Alan has become such a thrifty 'chef', as he has stretched our meals into several.
Again, you can refer to my post of 'Timing' which shares a bittid of info. Also, it is our hope that once we are stabilized, then any excess help re: donations, will also go to various ministries. As in PAY IT FORWARD. Apart from Alan and I saying Prayers for others, we also are in need of a Prayer or few! I like the photo image, with the empowering message - 'Love conquers all.'
Peace and God Bless.
The site below is the DONATE address, if you wish to help. I am waiting for the web designer to insert / position the link / code re: the Donate Button. My apologies if any of this is a bit confusing to you. As mentioned, I am not computer savvy; however, have managed to at least include it in the tid mix.

Timing
Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!
A very special friend of mine suggested that I add a 'Donate Button' on my blogs. Well, I am not that computer savvy; however, have managed to put on a link. Am waiting for more help to do it properly; so my apologies if this is not set up as it should be.
As you know, we have been having some major difficulties...including not being able to pay our rent and so forth. We have been doing our utmost to survive; and in the bittidz process, we are certainly getting our metal tested and then some!
In my last post, Psalm 54 has been so very helpful; and I am reminding myself constantly, as I re read it, to just keep on trekking in Faith and Trust in Him. He has a Purpose in all of this!
For several months, I did go back to work; however, a lot of people were getting their hours cut back; including me. That being said, we have also been doing a bit of 'dog sitting' - which has fallen into our laps practically. Alan has been doing more of that. Meanwhile, I have been attempting to sell a lot of our possessions. Really, all they are, are just 'things.' As long as we have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and can pay our bills, that is just fine with me. Keep it simple!
At the same time, we have been working towards something quite awesome, and for the time being, it looks like it has been 'put on hold.' This has caused us a major setback / hardship. We have a vision of what we would like to do and it is a wonderful one! We have been doing our due diligence to move forward, but we have been manipulated, deceived, and put in a very awkward situation / difficult spot at this time.
Eventhough, I may be getting a tougher outer skin; I am a bittid crestfallen on the inside. I am just shaking my head; as is Alan. Today is a day of just licking our wounds for digesting things, I guess. NOT complaining, just sharing a tidbitz. Getting ready to deal with what unfolds.
That is when my dear friend suggested to me to add the 'Donate Button.' She really enjoys my posts and she feels that this may be a way of helping us through these 'trials and tribulations.'. I write posts to uplift others, as well as a type of 'journal.' I have always enjoyed writing (from my heart) and just the other day, thought wouldn't it be great to do something I love to do and furthermore, feel led to do!!! However, to keep body and soul together, this may also be a good way. Perhaps an Answer! A win / win for all!
Just to recap, I write to offer encouragement to all those who read my posts. The posts also uplift me. LOL! I did say a Prayer to Him, asking Him what should I do to earn some money, and preferably, something that I really enjoy and also in helping others? Then my friend pops into the picture and suggests the idea of a 'Donate Button.' I mulled it over for a few days, as I do not like asking people for money / funds. However, if I / we can receive some help, we can still live here (for the time being) and be resilient in moving forward etc. Also, the 'dog sitting' would be a vibrant part of our vision too; as we love dogs.
Tidbit - Easier said than done, but when you suffer a tid setback, just get up and dust yourself off and keep on going with a positive attitude!
I have been steadfastedly Asking ('Ask and ye shall Receive'), Seeking ('Seek and ye shall find') and Knocking on His Door ('Knock and a door will be opened unto you'). as 'He IS the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.' Remembering also to thank Him for our DAILY Blessings; as well as asking Him for His DAILY Direction etc.
Bittid - 'Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone.' Those words or that message is very true too. My Dad used to say that often to many people. One has to keep on trekking and be of good cheer, regardless of one's circumstances. Be a tidbit of a Blessing to others. ie. Doing a random act of kindness, such as a gentle smile, a kind word or a kind deed.
The same friend who suggested the 'Donate Button', says it is 'timing' and that timing plays a huge part. She is right.
Am looking forward to watching the Vision T.V. etc tomorrow. I always learn so much from the various ministries. It is my hope too, down the road, to be able to help them in some 'Pay It Forward' way too.
Peace and God Bless.

Psalm 54 - A wonderful reassurement! Keep on Trekking!
Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!
This is going to be a rather short post, or I think it may be. Yesterday evening, we received some news that made me 'agog.' Practically speechless and I was attempting to continue to keep 'cool, calm, and collected' all the bittid while. Certain matters I thought were finally being attended to; yet more of the same old, same old.
However, today, I believe that things will be brought more to a conclusive close and / or step towards a positive outcome. That certainly is our hope.
Last night, I just fell into a deep sleep. I needed a good tid rest! That being said, in the middle of the night, I awoke. I was 'Directed'\ to pick up the Bible and it automatically opened right up at Psalms 54. - 'Prayer for Defense against Enemies.'
SAVE me, O God, by Thy name, and vindicate me by Thy power.
2) Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth.
3) For strangers have risen against me,
And violent men have sought my life;
They have not set God before them.
4) Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.
5) He will recompense the evil to my foes;
Destroy them in Thy faithfulness.
6) Willingly I will sacrifice to Thee;
I will give thanks to Thy name, O Lord,
for it is good.
7) For He has delivered me from all trouble;
And my eye has looked with satisfaction upon my enemies.
Well, that message in Psalm 54 was just what my ears needed to hear! A lot of 'out of left field' things have been happening; and this was a solid tidbit of encouragement and comfort to me.
Have taken a bit of a pause and have spent a quiet and reflective day of thanksgiving. Alan and I are just going to keep on trekking in Faith and Trust that He has an awesome plan for us!
We have also been appreciating the garden and all its refreshing blooms and new life that Spring brings. We are glad it is Friday and that it is the weekend again. The time seems to be going by so quickly these days.
The above photo is of our beautiful red rhodi, as well as the purple Iris, which have also bloomed for the first time in the few years that we have had them.
Tidbit - Appreciate the little things. ie. The beauty and blooms of flowers / plants. Those are Blessings!
Bittid - It is good to take time out and reaffirm things. ie. Psalm 46:10 "'Be still and know that I am God.'
Peace and God Bless.

Always have HOPE!
Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!
Just reread my recent post; and it helped me quite a bit this am. When I write, I feel I am 'Directed' by the Holy Spirit. I never know what I am going to write about; save that sharing some tid experiences, with the heartfelt thought to uplift all those who read my blog.
It has been a 'whirlwind' these past few days. Doing everything we can to make bittidz ends meet. We have a wonderful vision / plan for the future; however, not much can move forward until certain matters are resolved. Then tidbitz decisions can be made and they would be for the better!
Things are moving slowly; and we are putting up a' good fight.'
"Keep your eyes on the King of Kings! That's where the victory will come from!"
Oh, my post has taken on a different colour and size! All the more for it to be 'illuminated!'
Thank you to our wonderful friend (he knows who he is) who provided these refreshing tidbits of truth and encouragement. He knows of the 'battles' we are going through and because he has had many a share of trials and tribulations, he has the understanding, compassion, empathy, kindness etc. Actually this post is dedicated to him and to another awesome friend of ours.
Both people have not questioned us in our difficulties; they just 'know.' Nor have they 'thrown rocks'. It would appear that those who scorn, mock, ridicule, spread falsehoods, deceive, manipulate, accuse etc, have no problems in pointing fingers at us. The sad thing is, they do not know what really happened and are content to go along with their versions of bittids or snippets. So be it.
I was saying to Alan last night, that we are very Blessed to have two such special people who ARE our friends. (Yes, we have some other special friends and they know who they are as well). However, this post is to thank these two friends in particular. We had a major pressing need and both helped in an instant. One of them is tapped, but again he is abundantly rich in spirit! He is a very special guy; a big heart, and a worthy warrior in His Service. Our other friend who is not tapped, also has a 'generosity of spirit' and by her 'words, actions, and deeds.' also shines forth with an 'inner beauty.'
We have found those who have not, do; and those that have, don't. Maybe that does not make sense, but it does. Anyway, c'est la vie. If nothing else, Alan and I have been getting 'crash courses' in human behaviour and then some. Very sad to observe in many cases.
" You two hang in there... God has something really awesome in store for you - or for you to do for Him. It takes a hot fire to make good steel, and you always test it before you build with it. So even though you don't feel like it -- rejoice! He has His eyes on YOU." This is another tidbit gem from our friend and this has also made an empowering impactful impression on me. The same goes back to him! I think God has an extra awesome plan for him!
Tidbit - Do not let your dreams / ideas be stolen by those who wish to put snares around your visions. Dare to dream and dream big! (Keeping it simple, all the while).
We know there is a 'macro' plan He has for us (all of us); albeit we have been experiencing several setbacks, disappointments, let downs etc.
Bittid - Out of adversity, comes strength. There is an extra sinewy courage and a resiliency that takes root. Never ever let go of HOPE; regardless of your situation / circumstances.
We have had some people (they also know who they are) say - that 'we are hopeless; there is NO hope, don't hope' etc. And yes, we are in a tough spot; however, we have to keep on going, like the 'energizer bunny.' We have to have HOPE, and ALWAYS press on in Faith and Trust in Him, regardless. We all have to do that!
Eventhough things are uncertain, we take comfort in knowing that He IS for certain and He Directs our path. He IS the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE!
Also, as a further bittid, Dr. Charles Stanley says, "Leave all the consequences to God.'
Love this photo image of the eagle!
Peace and God Bless.
P.S. The photo to the right, is of our rhodo. We have 'nutured' this along for approx four years and this was the first time it has bloomed! A multitude of pink Blessings! What a tid treat! It was a small bit plant when we first 'found' it and, as you can see, it has become wonderfully fruitful!

Letting it go and moving forward!
Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greetiing to you, in your part of the world!
My apologies for not having written a post - for how long???? My gosh. Basically, 'life got in the way.' No excuse; however, we have been in a major 'survival mode.' (low on gas fumes and then some! lol!).
Without going into too much 'nitty gritty', we have encountered many a trial and tribulation and it can be pretty weary and taxing in our daily journey. Not complaining; just sharing that we have been 'bogged down' with our 'metal being tested,' I guess is a good tid way to dexcribe things.
However, I have had a few friends suggesting that I continue to write my posts! Then when I revisted my blog site, I saw that I had received some wonderful tidbitz comments of encouragement. THANK YOU! That really helps me a lot and I am very appreciative!
This morning I watched Dr. Charles Stanley (In Touch Ministries) on Joy TV on Channel 10 and his message: 'Victory Over Anger' It was most appropro! I would recommend watching the video, if you can not see it on the T.V.
In a bittid nutshell, yesterday, I experienced a bit of a 'bad hair day' in that I directed tidbits of anger, frustration and disappointment towards a particular family member / situation.. Mind you, the conversation was mutual. That being said, I Prayed for Guidance, Direction, Wisdom, Understanding, Clarity, Compassion, Courage, Patience, etc and 'slept on things.' In Dr. Stanley's message, I never thought of it this way - but he was suggesting that sleep can let anger in, ie. when you have not let go and, when you go to sleep angry; eventhough you are saying to yourself, "I'll sleep on it." To me, this is a real tidbit gem!
Everything he said, really hit a home-run for me. I thought (even yesterday evening), 'What would God do in this case?' Well, there are NO COINCIDENCES!!!! Thank you Dr. Stanley for your wise teachings and helpful insights. I suggest to those of you who are angry etc, tune into www.intouchministries.org.
Today, I have 'let go' and have made the CHOICE of working through things with an even MORE positive attitude and resilent resolve.
Tidbit - I am quoting from Dr. Stanley's message - "Taking an emotional timeout. We should stop and ask the Lord how He wants us to respond. He tells us “Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger” (James 1:19)"
That is how I usually am, ie being slow to boil, slow to anger; however, 'pent up' emotions etc all 'came out.'
Hope some family members read my post today as well. There is always a 'learning curve' and mine was major!
Bittid - Ephesians 4: 31 & 32!!!!!!
"Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also have forgiven you."
After I watched In Touch Minsistries, I was able to catch the bittids of the last half hour of 'Hour of Power; on the Vision Channel. I have not watched the program for some time. Again, NO COINCIDENCE! Bobby Schuller was sharing empowering thoughts: about 'breaking bread together, old & young generations, sharing of stories & building memories, healing etc. Absolutely! It was as if what happened yesterday, then today's 'In Touch Ministries', that Bobby Schuller's message endorsed everything all the more! Here is one of his encouraging pointers; and as there are many, best really to watch the video ' Living Reminder' - www.hourofpower.org. This is wonderful encouragement for ALL ages!
"We remember that He calls all sorts of people from all different walks of life to eat together as brothers and sisters. This is because memory and story is the thing that holds our souls and our lives together. Memory binds us and memory heals us; memory makes us whole."
Alan and I have had major financial set backs and then some. However, we are not the only tid ones; nor are we the first, nor will we be the last. However, I continue daily (and more often these days) to state out loud, various passages from the Bible which is of a huge help and a gracious comfort to me. I also thank Him all the more and I know that He has sustained us thus far; so would He do any less now? We must remain steadfast in Faith and Trust in Him all the more!
He has us (all of us, for that matter) exactly where He wants us; and I know, there is a Purpose to all of this.
Yesterday, I just got a bittid vexed and discouraged (not in our Father) but just from 'stuff.'
Again, no coincidences. I keep going back to an awesome message of encouragement that Robert Schuller Jr shared a few years ago. 'When you are down to nothing, you know He is up to something. He has a good plan for you." (I am thinking we are totally tapped; so this would be a good time to step in!) But again, it is all in His Timing, as per His Will, Purpose, and Plan.
Also, Dr. Stanley, a few years ago ' When God is silent.' In a bittidz, ' Do not think God has abandoned, or deserted you, He is up to something behind the scenes and it is something good for you.'
I constantly quote outloud: Romans 8:28 - "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
Also, DAILY put on the Full Armor of God - Esphesians 6: 10 - 15.
If you can, do that in the morning before you get up and also before you go to sleep, along with the Lord's Prayer. Joyce Meyer www.enjoyingeverydaylife.com shared that wonderful tidbit a few years ago. I thank her for her teaching and I really enjoy watching her ministry as well.
I repeat, there are so many inspiring and empowering ministries to tune into and I am grateful! (as per my last post - March 19th!) Again, my apologies for not writing a post until now..
We are doing our utmost best and putting up 'the good fight' and wearing a cheerful countenance; praying for a BREAKTHROUGH (I think of Joel Osteen's wonderful ministry of encouragement here!) and to just LIVE daily with patience, hope, trust, faith etc. Eventhough things are very uncertain, we know one thing for certain, He is a CERTAINTY and to continue to TRUST IN HIM TO PROVIDE, AS PER HIS PROMISE. We have / are learning many lessons and "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you" is so true. Many curve balls out of left field etc have occured, but we have a firm resolve that somehow, somehow, things will work out! That He definitely has a good plan for us. That goes for all of you too! I am thankful that we can cast all our cares upon Him (as Dave Meyer, Joyce's husband does). I know He does not give us any more burdens than any each of us can carry at any one time.
Well, guess I had better go as we have some doggies to attend to.. We have recently been doing some dog wallking / sitting (we lost our Blue, our Blue Heeler) and dogs are such a joyful and loving comfort. Am glad that God made them too!
Also in closing, Be a Blessing to others; regardless of your own circumstances. Be uplfiting with kind and encouraging words to all those you meet.
Love the photo image! Until next time and thanks again, for your comments.
Peace and God Bless.

Thank you!
Good Evening, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!
Can not believe it! The last tid post that I wrote was on December 30th, 2012!!!!!! I thought I had written a bit post in the New Year, albeit perhaps earlier in 2013.
First of all, THANK YOU for the comments. That was a total surprise; as I have not visited my blog site til now! Those of you, who made the uplifting comments, have inspired me to write another post! I was going to write one anyway; however, you have just encouraged me to do so sooner!
To recap a bittid since the last post, there have not really been too many changes in our daily walk. ie.. We are still facing challenges (more in fact!); and unreal how some, just suddenly appear tidbitz out of 'left field!' So, Alan and I have been / are just doing our bittidz best in the 'good fight' of spiritual onslaughts and steadfastedly living one day at a time; being thankful all the while!
It was my day off today and because I missed watching and hearing Dr. Charles Stanley on Sunday, I tuned into his website and his message was about TRUTH. Very enlightening and again, there are NO COINCIDENCES! Thank you, Dr. Stanley. It is 'music to my ears!'
I / we have been reflecting on some puzzling experiences as of late. However, we have / are choosing to 'leave all the consequences to Him to work out, as per, His Purpose, His Plan, and in accordance with His Will (and in His Timing).
Earlier this evening on the T.V., I watched and listened to Pastor Matthew Hagee. He was / is excellent in delivering his inmpactful message about building a solid 'rock' foundation. He referred to Psalm 18: 2 & 3 - " The Lord is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies." I LOVE THAT!
I totally relate to David; and can appreciate why God thinks that David is a 'man after my own heart.' (I also take refuge in the photo image / story of David and Goliath).
The other night, I was up during the 'wee hours' and was 'seeking' the Bible. It literally turned to Psalm 23 and I felt a great deal of comfort; in reading "The Lord is my shepherd...." Also I took solace in verse 5 - " Thou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies' Thou has annointed my head with oil; My cup overflows."
Alan and I have really gone through a lot of hoops, trials and tribulations. I think at times, will it ever stop or at least slow down? But then, I think well, God has a Purpose; so we will just carry on and TRUST in Him to Provide (as per His Promise to us all) and it is that tidbit simple... Easier said than done. However, He does not want us to have doubts, be anxious, be fearful, be worried etc. Rather He wants us to be without doubts, without angst, without fear, without worries / stess etc. So, Alan and I have been emarking on that course; eventhough things appear very uncertain. HOWEVER, what we do know is, that He IS our certainty!
Tidbit - Trust in God with all your heart, endure, and have HOPE and FAITH that He Directs and Guides you - each and every step of the way, DAILY. Without hope (in Him), things remain the same and do not change.
Bittid - Those of you who are misunderstood or falsely accused etc, stand strong in the shining light of the TRUTH. Knowing that 'they' who scoff / ridicule / mock you etc, have not walked in your shoes. Instead, have compassion and empathy for them. Also, act with Grace; and in time, may they accept Christ genuinely into their hearts and be indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
Wish I had more bittids to say; but hopefully, these little tidbits have helped. Again, thank you for the comments. Also, THANK YOU is what we should ALWAYS say to Him! 'Praise Him in ALL things', regardless of our circumstances etc. Again, leave ALL the consequences to Him. Or, as Joyce Meyer's (Enjoying Everyday Life) husband, Dave, says: "Cast all your cares upon Him."
May you tune into the wonderful websites I have just watched; as they offer such empowering insights! There are also many more awesome sites to tune into; that I greatly enjoy and appreciate!..ie. Tomorrow's World; The United Church of God; Beyond Today; Dr. David Jeremiah; Joel Osteen; Dr. Doug Batchelor, Jack Van Impe Presents; Charles Price of Living Truth; Hour of Power; Rhonda Lazerte etc. THANK YOU!
Here is wishing you all a Good Night.
Peace and God Bless.

Tidbits of good cheer, encouragement and hope!
Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!
Just reread my December 9th post - "An 'eureka' Blessing' and that sums up much in our daily walk with Christ.. However, to recap the bittidz since then, we have had some other 'eurekas.'
Eventhough we encountered and experienced more challenges and some unbelievable obstacles, Alan and I were / are thankful in celebrating the Birth of Christ.
Alan and I were given a 15 pound turkey by some kind friends and by their random act of kindness, that provided our Christmas meal and several other meals. On Christmas Day (had the day off from work), we did a 'team' effort in putting together a lovely Christmas dinner for the two of us. Alan makes a wonderful turkey stuffing (an old Scottish family recipe), however, did not have all the tidbitz ingredients needed, so he had to improvise. It was the best stuffing ever; as well as the 'butterball' turkey! He mashed the potatoes, cooked the veggies (broccoli, carrots) and I made the gravy (had to be creative there too, as we did not have the favourite supplies in our food larder) and a wonderful Cranberry sauce. We were rather late in getting our Christmas meal supplies; so we gratefully settled for frozen cranberries, which were extremely tasty. The grocery clerk was right; in that we would not even notice the difference from fresh / frozen berries once prepared.
If I say so myself (LOL!) we set a 'nice' and festive table for the two of us and we were appreciative to partake in a Christmas dinner. (Many people around the world do not even have food / shelter; so we are all the more thankful for the Blessings we have been given!). We are also very thankful to a dear person who gave us some food coupons; and that went a long way in providing us with groceries; including the fixings for a Christmas dinner / leftovers. (They are the best part! We also bought a delicious apple crumble pie on sale! That treat, as well as Alan's home made turkey soup from the leftovers, have provided us with wonderful meals). We listened to Christmas carols (A station on the radio played non stop Christmas music!), and we enjoyed our gas fireplace. Regardless of all the 'stuff' going on around us, we reflected upon our Blessings and came to the conclusion, that this particular Christmas has been the most special and most meaningful one ever! I also put up some decorations on the 23rd (had not felt like it; as we had had the 'wind knocked out of our sails,' in a few situations) and that 'warmed up' our two rooms downstairs.
As mentioned in the earlier post, Christmas can be both a sad and / or a happy time for many. We had a mix of both and yet certain tid things that did occur, we are glad about; as they are life lessons.
When one goes through 'trials and tribulations,' there is more empathy, compassion and understanding towards others. Even if there have been (and there have been!) mistakes made, it is sad to see people 'rub salt in the wounds' Unfortunately, we have experienced that; and at the same time, it just strengthens our resolve in Him and gives us resiliency.
This morning, I watched Dr. Charles Stanley (www.intouchministires.org) and his son, Andy gives a wonderful message and also honouring his Dad, who very recently turned 80 years young!
ie. To quote: "Life Lessons With Dad
Not all pastors’ kids grow up seeing their fathers consistently live out the biblical truths they teach. Thankfully, Andy Stanley had that privilege. Full of personal anecdotes, fond memories and moving stories about his relationship with his father, Andy’s message will encourage you to live out these biblical lessons in your own life, and pass them on to the next generation."
Andy Stanley's message was about family and that really hit a 'home run' to me. All those of you, who have their family strifes / rifes etc, today's teaching is invaluable and gave me comfort. I wished I had been taught more like that, when I was a child; or perhaps, maybe I did not grasp my parents' teachings then; as it was not yet my time to understand. (My Mum and Dad did their best for me; as per my Nov 12th post -'Honouring my Mum.' Eventhough, I was adopted; I knew my earth parents wanted children; and I am forever thankful for them).
As shared, Alan and I have been going through many unreal 'trials and tribulations.' This past little while, I got to the point where I literally just turned everything over to God to deal with, and that included consequences. I felt an immediate peace within, after that happened and as the bit expression goes: "Let the cards fall where they may." Interestingly enough, in today's message from Andy, he was saying that his Dad basically instilled / encouraged him to Obey God and Leave the Consquences to Him. That is a major TIDBIT of advice!!!!
Yes, I continue to persist in having Trust and Faith in our Heavenly Father; however, there have been some trying bittid moments that have sorely tested us re: the 'Fruits of the Spirit." Today's message is RIGHT ON and THANK YOU to Dr. Charles Stanley and Andy. They are leaving a legacy. What a wonderful purpose and plan that He has helped them with!
Alan and I have spent a lot of time as of late, re evaluating and reflecting upon everything and we will continue to continue. ie. From Proverbs 3:5-6 - 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path." (One of Dr. Stanley's favourite verses too!) Also, from Psalm 46:10 - "Be still and know that I am God." These passages are awesome and have helped us through difficult times.
Today, another TIDBIT verse that Andy Stanley was sharing is from Psalm 32 - 8. I LOVE this one and wish I had known about it when I was a child as he had done. ie. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you." This is another verse I will now heartily rejoice in!
Also, another BITTID in Proverbs 22, 'On Life and Conduct;' particularly about borrowing and hence becoming a slave. That gave me the final resolve necessary, to 'leave the consquences to Him.' That has removed a huge load from my heart and has provided me with a peace and a confidence from within. The whole passage from Proverbs 22 is an excellent encouragement.
My suggestion is to tune into www.intouchministries.org. Very insightful and empowering teachings!
Tidbit - OBEY GOD AND LEAVE THE CONSQUENCES TO HIM. Methinks, that makes life a lot simpler and helps erase worries, anxieties, doubts, fears etc.
Bittid - What is Faith? Hebrews 11 - 1. "Now Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." It is having the trust and faith in the unseen; not in the visible. ie. Remember the story of Doubting Thomas ('You see Me and believe; think of those who do not see Me; but believe." That's Faith).
This is where Alan and I are at in our lives presently; living one day at a time (and in the unseen Faith and Trust in Him). Many do not understand; and again, perhaps it is not their time yet. Regardless of our circumstances, Alan and I will continue to continue to daily bloom in His Service and to be Used by Him to encourage and uplift all those we meet.
As an aside, we have flowers (Roses; my Dad loved roses!) blooming at this time of year in our garden! Heard a Robin also sing a cheery sing song early this morning, as well as seeing chickadees jump joyfully from branch to branch on our big tree in front. Plus, the sun is brightly shining! We are appreciative of these, as Blessings!
We had an interesting experience yesterday; and the Scripture from Romans 8 - 28 is a majestic example! "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." We literally saw honesty and dishonesty at work. Two people; wherein one was not truthful and the other was being honouable. Alan and I were put in a most awkward situation and wanting to do what was right and fair. However, He magnificently brought the TRUTH to light, by exposing the untruths and the deceits shown.
In closing for 2012 and a positive thought also, for going forward into the New Year, remember that each and every day is a brand new day! A new canvas if you will! So expand your horizons, Seek Him out, and He will Guide your path. Never lose hope, as it is not too late to invite Him into your heart. He will never leave you; as ' He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life!'
Also, want to thank all the ministries that give so generously of their time on the T.V. network stations (ie The Vision Channel and Joy10 T.V). They are also wonderful resources to tune into. Alan and I have also appreciated reading Pastor Charles Price's monthly free booklet, 'My Daily Journey with Christ' and his daily messages have provided us with a greater understanding and empathy in our walk. So, a special 'Thank you!' Charles; and his website is: www.livingtruth.ca. We have enjoyed his down to earth teachings.

Love the photo images of the daffodils; they are of such good cheer! Here is wishing you a Happy New Year, as in a new canvas!
Peace and God Bless.
