It has been a journey, that is a tidbitz for sure!
Do not know where to begin; save that the wonderful verse from the Bible (Philippians 4:6), has really helped me get through all the bittidz of this past week. Perhaps this may be a bit of an uplift for your tid spirits as well.
I thank Dr. Charles Stanley for that tidbit, from last Sunday, when I was watching his ministry on Joy Tv 10. Eventhough, I was still in bed; it was the perfect 'wake up' message for my ears! It was reassurring and re invigorating and I have been 'staying the course' ever since!
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by Prayer and Supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
Alan and I have been working on a number of matters and we feel that there have been several bittid 'curve ball' delays. However, I wrote that particular verse down and it now goes with me everywhere! I have been reading and saying that verse OUTLOUD over and over again, throughout each day and each night. I have found that 'all of a sudden', things are 'starting to move'; that earlier had seemed like such oppressive obstacles!
Tidbit - Take heart and have courage to Rely upon Him to daily direct your path; giving Him Thanks steadfastedly. When you turn everything over to Him, it is as if the shackles, the weights that have been pulling you down, have been removed.
Bittid - Appreciate all your Blessings. Also, have compassion for others. ie. "There but by the Grace of God, go I"says much. In all your 'trials and tribulations', "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."
Yesterday we phoned one of our ex neighbours; they were happy to hear from us. It was of 'good cheer' for them and for us! We let them know about 'Rhodo Norm.' Norm (our ex neighbour) had given us a beautiful Rhododendron app four years ago; and it has been bloomless for all this time. This year, it has come out in a most magnificent colour of red (see photo). Also our yellow Hotei Rhodo has finally bloomed too, in glorious splendour. Norm was saying that it takes 3 or 4 years before a rhodo blooms.
We also have a pair of robins that are building a nest in the side hedge and it is quite an exciting event to watch the flurry of activity!

We are thankful too, that it is the weekend. Alan is making up his creative pizza for our dinner (smells delicious!) and it is a good night to stay in and enjoy a nice quiet evening. It is pouring with rain, and there has also been lots of thunder and lightning all around us.
