Steadfast Focus

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Almost two bittid weeks have flown past us! To recap, we did do another garage sale on the weekend of the 10th. Eventhough we did not garner much in the way of coinage, we enjoyed meeting more people. Also, we were able to shed / unload some more bittids of 'clutter.' A lot of the people we interacted with, said that this was not the usual garage sale. I heartily agreed; and a good time was had by all. Those who were not smiling when they arrived, they certainly were when they left.

We are becoming more settled in our our new abode and we, indeed, have much to be thankful for! Since we have moved here, we have focused all the more on Christ and we believe with all our hearts, that He has a specific purpose for each and every one of us.

We have also been involved with some ongoing 'stuff' and it is just a matter of time when things will be finally resolved.

Mid last week, we were exceedingly needful of a 'helping hand' and we Prayed to Him for His 'help', as we know that He is our Provider and Saviour. Well, within a very short time later, we unexpectedly received tidbit 'word' that Alan was the recipient of a small reimbursement that was due to him some seven years ago! Talk about timely; (NO coincidence!) and it was in the exact amount that we were in major need of for that day! That was truly a Gift of Grace from Him!

This past weekend as mentioned, we did not have a garage sale; as we had had four in a row. Also, as it happened, it poured with rain; so we were happy for the reprieve and the cooler weather was refreshing.

This past Sunday, I enjoyed watching the Vision Channel. ie. 'Hour of Power', 'World Impact Ministries', and 'Living Truth'; and received some ephifancies and tidbits!

For those of you who wish and appreciate encouragement and solid teachings from the Bible etc, best to tune into these programs. ie. On 'Hour of Power,' Dr. Sheila Schuller Coleman's guests Jan Coates (author and speaker) and Pastor Brad Boyd share their uplifting stories. On 'World Impact Minsisties,' Pastor Peter Youngren's guest, Pastor Age Aleskjaer of the Oslo Christian Centre (Oslo, Norway), gives encouraging suggestions on how to Pray in Jesus' name. (I have a soft spot for Norway, as my Dad was born in Trondheim). Also, Pastor Charles Price of 'Living Truth' provides meaningful insights as well. We are appreciative too, of daily reading 'My Daily Journey with Christ', published by Pastor Charles. There are many other wonderful ministires; these are just a few.

Yesterday, we had an urgent circumstance and the few people we turned to, were to no avail. We had / have a need for the short term; and with all the undue bittidz delays, it has not been easy. When speaking with a friend of ours later yesterday, I made the following comments: "I guess everyone is laughing at us; as if we are the laughing stock". No reply; so I continued with: "Well, fine, if that is the way of it; eventhough we know the truth of the matter." Believe it or not, those words gave / give me a tidbitz boost of good cheer and confidence! I also gently shared that our immediate request had been supplied by Him.

Yesterday when we were struggling with the situation,'something' within me, just said, 'Do this.' Eventhough, it was a challenge, I Prayed for the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name to Guide me; as I was very definitely out of my comfort zone. Well, one of the people involved, said: 'I will help you out of these inequities.' I was blown away; and he was surprised too by his comment. So, all I can say is that he and I were empowered by the Holy Spirit, who Prevailed yesterday, right then and there!

Apart from the move and so forth, we have also been looking at other avenues for our future. We are truly looking forward to closure, and eventhough it has been a long tough journey, the experiences have been lessons for us too.

Tidbit - Even in your worse moments, when all seems to be dim, just turn to Him and Ask Him to Direct your path and to show you the way. Seek Him out by Knocking on His door and it shall be opened unto you.

Bittid - Do not fret when faced with ridicule, indignation, dissidence etc. Calmly stay your course; by being all the more focused in your daily Walk, Faith and Trust in Him. He is your Shepherd and He does take care of you. Do not give up; as He does not give up on you. He loves each and every one of us, unconditionally and wants a relationship with each of us. All one has to do is to steadfastedly Ask, to Seek, and to Knock on His door.

Well, we have some things to attend to. It is a gorgeous fall day and we are thankful for our Blessings and joyful too, for the recent help He gave us! 'Praise Him In ALL Things!'

Refreshing moments!

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

It ia a beautiful sunny morning and fall is definitely in the air. The forecast for the week, is for hot hot temperatures; so we are extra appreciative for the cooler and refreshing start to the day.

We had the garage sale; and eventhough there were not many people (Labour Day Weekend), we again met some more of our kind neighbours in the neighbourhood and so forth. We have enjoyed everyone we have met thus far; be it through our few garage sales or whatever. As mentioned in an earlier post, there is a joyfulnees and a spirit of thankfulness that we have found invigorating. We managed to unload some more tidbitz 'stuff'; albeit giving more away than selling items - which was fine. We have been asked to do another garage sale; well, perhaps. We also just received a coupon from a company that takes away 'stuff.' We may call upon them in due course.

We are settling in and the change is for the better. We are grateful more than ever for our daily Blessings. Yesterday, a neighour popped by and introduced herself; and I ended up being given a tour of her home and meeting her husband and daughter. Methinks we will become good friends. Writing of neighbours, our past next door neighbours gave us a call and said that they missed us. We were touched and when we next go into town, we will get together with them. Also, when we are better organized (unpacked), we will invite the whole crew over for a bittidz barbecue or something that is 'no fuss, no muss.' Most likely, they will carpool.

Again, we have been reading 'My Daily Journey with Christ' (you can refer to the Sept 1st post), written by Pastor Charles Price. If it is any consolation, all that he has said, is what Alan and I have been experiencing - almost to the day! There are no bit coincidences. We are still in a 'waiting' mode and I just read Charles' insights for today: "Don't be Afraid to Wait." Very interesting.

Recently celebrated my birthday; another tid year older! My son and his girl friend came over and barbecued a salmon for us in the evening, and we were appreciative of our fun visit. Earlier in the day, my daughter and our wee grandsons came over with some lovely roses (that we will plant in the garden) and a nice home-made card.

Tidbit - Do random of acts of genuine kindness. Be it with a gentle smile, giving an encouraging word, and / or a helping hand to those in need.

Bittid - Trust in Him to daily Sustain you. When things appear to be overwhelming, turn everything over to Him and He Provides. Perhaps not right away, but He does Prevail in His Time, as per His Will, Purpose, and Plan.

Plentiful and fruitful harvests

Well, a week has flown past us! We have since had a tid garage sale and we will be doing another one this weekend. We have unearthed more 'stuff' from our move. Garage sales are very interesting; you meet all types. I know it is the nature to enjoy a good banter and bargaining at garage sales; however, there were some who went a bit overboard. To the point, where we had to say gently to a very few, 'Well, if that is how you feel, perhaps you can find a better bargain elsewhere.' We had already come down in price, to where it was ridiculous. Others who were there were also surprised by the aggressive posture; and supported us by asking us: 'How much do you want for this item anyway?' Well, we worked out a fair price with them and they were appreciative. A gracious attitude and thoughtful diplomacy goes a long way.

We have enjoyed the garage sales (You can refer to my August 23rd post, 'Strength of Character') and as per that post, we have met some wonderful people; who have become our friends. The same couple was back last weekend and we will be getting together for a meal in the near future.

There were many people who attended our sale and a lot of them asked us to continue having more! Well, I do not know about that; but we do have a lot of 'stuff' to unload. It also helps the pocket book. We met a young couple and they purchased some hangers and whatnot. They were moving into their first apartment. We agreed on a reasonable price and when they paid us, they were a few dollars short. I did not comment; thinking: 'They are nice; give them a break.' A bittid time later, they came back, apologizing all over the place. I asked them for what? Well, because they had not paid us the full amount! I was totally blown away by their honesty! I thanked them. I also suggested that God, Our Father, knows all things and watches everything and that He would be glad of their integrity. Well, they were all the more elated! I ended up saying that they were a special couple and added: 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' They full heartedly agreed; and it was as if their joyful faces were shining! It was a refreshing interaction. I also said, 'Hope to see you again!' They felt the same.

Alan and I have been reading 'My Daily Journey with Christ', a tidbit booklet that we receive monthly from Charles Price, of Living Truth (www.livingtruth.ca). Pastor Charles Price is 'right on' with his teachings and they have helped us in our daily walk in Christ. Thank you Charles.

Also, watched 'Hour of Power' with Pastor Sheila Schuller-Coleman and for those of you who are seeking and / or are curious, best if you tune into their website of encouragement and hope (www.hourofpower.org) etc. To quote a tidbitz from her: "So, that’s a typical day of abiding, being a branch, just resting in the Lord, just letting His love flow through you and me, and bearing fruit. That’s all it is. That’s all it takes."

I have been saying to most of the people who came to our bittidz garage sales:'Thank you for taking the time to stop by. If you see something you can not live without, I would rather you walk away with something you feel good about (ie that we have not over charged you) and that you leave happier than when you first arrived. We are not here to gauge you; instead, we like to be reasonable all the way around.' I felt good saying that; but then that is the Truth. People can tell too, whether one is being genuine or not. Anyway, it has been a good experience and we look forward to doing another one and meeting more friends.

Tidbit - 'Less is best.'

We have accumulated 'stuff' and we do not need it. Too much clutter etc etc etc. A garage sale is excellent for passing things on! Apart from the coin, it is well worth seeing the smiles on peoples' faces. There is too little of smiling these days, methinks.

Another experience: There is an older woman (in her 80's perhaps) and she has been to the sales we have had. I have put out some shoes and clothing from my Mum (alas, they were not my size) and this lady appreciated the quality of the items. She does not appear to have much coin; and I practically gave her some shoes and dresses (designer classics). Her face beamed; and it was as if she was a small child who set foot in a toy store. That grips my heart and I feel a lump in my throat; which leads me into the next bittid.

Bittid - 'Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.'

Yesterday, was a tidbit slice! Alan and I have been experiencing our share of 'trials and tribulations' (again, who hasn't?) asd we are looking forward to having resolution to various matters. We had / have some immediate challenges, and I literaly fell upon my knees and simply asked Him, 'What do we do? Why is this happening? We have done our best to be truthful, to be honourable, to be equitable etc?' I was literally in anguish, with hands on my head in our bathroom. (We have been steadfastedly saying our Prayers, Asking, Seeking, and Knocking; and things have appeared to be 'silent'). Well, the next thing I hear (a split second later) is Alan's voice shouting for me. I chose to ignore his calls; as I forlornly thought 'Now what?' It turns out that one of our few friends (whom we have confided in somewhat) called and offered her help. To us, that was an awesome miracle! God answered our Prayer immediately; which goes to show that He SUSTAINS us.

We still have some thorny issues to deal with; inequitable ones, I might add. However,it now appears that the 'truth' is finally surfacing and being exposed.
The verse Matthew 6:26 (Amplified Bible)comes is a good example of being sustained by Him.
"Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?"
Also the accompanying words / insights from whomever (my aplogies, as I do not have the name), have stuck with me. ie. "The enemy wants you to be fearful of tomorrow. So your main goal needs to be to enjoy the life Jesus died to give you today. Do what you can to live in righteousness, peace and joy, and trust Him to do the rest."

Also, Galatians 6:9 says, "Do not become weary in doing good. For in due time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." That is reassuring!

Hurrah! It took a bit of persistent 'trial and error' before I was able to post this photo image. We have a dear friend (he knows who he is) and this is one of his many wonderful pictures (which we apperciate!) he has sent us. It is beautiful and indeed, it reminds me of a plentiful and fruitful harvest. This glorious picture reminds me also of Pastor Sheila's comments in her message of last Sunday, in the Crystal Cathedral.

Have Steadfast Faith and Hope

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Have you ever felt 'stymied?' Most likely at various tid times, you have. Both Alan and I currently, are in a 'waiting game' and we are Prayful that He will Provide Solution to what appears to be a 'stymied situation.'

We have experienced numerous setbacks, delays, and then more delays. Personally, we do not quite understand all this; however, we believe that God has a Purpose and a better Plan than we know. The words by Robert Schuller Jr: "When you're down to nothing, you know that He is up to something; that is, something good for you." I am taking comfort in that thought; because this is exactly where Alan and I are, at this present time. That being said, we will keep on trekking in Faith and Trust in Him, and Rely upon Him to direct our path, as per His Will, in His time. 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.' Sometimes, it is not that easy; but that is our daily walk. Another perpetual solace is that He is our Refuge and Strength.

We are thankful for our many Blessings. All I have to do, is to think about other less fortunate parts of the world, where there is disease, drought, poverty, famine, hunger, weather disruptions (earthquakes, floods, tornados, tsunami's, storms etc) wars and rumours of wars etc. (telltale signs of Revelation). We are grateful for each and every day and whatever unfolds, we say 'Thank You.' We find it simpler to live one day at a time and cast all our cares and burdens upon Him.

We have experienced many bizzare 'out of left field' / 'off the wall' spiritual attacks. More than ever, we are asking Him to 'Arm and Equip us with the full Armor of God and to protect us and shield us from our enemies and foes.' I think of Joyce Meyer of 'Enjoying Everyday Life' as she says the same both morning and night; along with the Lord's Prayer. That is such a beautiful Prayer!

With our move, there have been many changes; and we are interactiing with embracing the changes. Methinks too, it is how you face your circumstances. When you continue to continue to be thankful and have hope in Him, that helps you through each day. At the end of each day, you know that He has sustained you. We know that ALL Things are Possible with Him; so again, we turn eveything over to Him. He has a Purpose and a Plan; and we are Prayful for a Divine Intervention. Also, you can refer to my March 7th, 2011 post 'Divine Delays'; as that may be the tidbitz way of it too.

It is a beautiful summer morning and there is a touch of fall in the air. I love this time of year!

Tidbit - Hope this gives those of you who are / or know of others who are feeling discouraged etc, a bit of enocouragement and hope. Focus daily upon Him and have the steadfast Trust that He always Prevails.

Bittid - Have a forgiving spirit and love thine enemies. Very easy to be resentful and / or have hardened hearts. Amazing what happens when you surrender everything to Christ. Ask and you will Receive. Seek and you will Find. Knock and He will open a door for you. Also, when one door closes, He opens another. (That is what is happening to Alan and I). Be ready for changes and let the Holy Spirit work within you for His Purpose. Your life becomes a lot simpler, and in tough times, He does sustain you.

Strength of Character

Good Morning, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

Again, it has been a tidbitz while since I last wrote a post. Truly, we have been on the go and at the end of each day, we are grateful for the peace of a summer's evening.

We are still unpacking; and our home is becoming a cosy and warm abode. Our house guest (my good friend whom I have not seen for at least 20+ years) arrived on our doorstep some twelve days ago and it was wonderful to see her again. We carried on as if we had just seen each other the bittidz day before! Very few people, methinks, one can do that with.

The four or five days she stayed with us went by very quickly; and we shared many of our life stories and spiritual experiences. She knows the door is open at any time. Perhaps she will stop by here on her way home; after she has a visit with another friend. She arrived on the Thursday and quite literally, I had just finished 'her' room, when she and her little dog appeared at our door. Good timing!

Our dog Blue has had a number of adjustments to handle, and we feel he has done very well. Plus with the little female house guest pet, that helped him settle in all the more.

We are still involved in the legal saga; and are working towards closure. More about that when it is so. Suffice to say, we have observed various human traits in nature, character, and behaviour.

We recently had a garage sale and enjoyed meeting some special people. We also met a fun couple; and we found that we have a lot of things / connections in common. (There are no tid coincidences!) As it happens, they have invited themselves over, and have offered to bring the food and the wine! Our dining room table is oozing with files; so we are thankful we can retreat to another spot. ie. Our covered outdoor patio. I never met my grandfather; but apparently he always used to say: "We have another room you know."

Tidbit - Keep things simple and live one day at a time.

Bittid - Continue to 'Praise Him in ALL Things.'

Those two bits worth have sustained us through these challenging times. 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.' We know He knows all things and the Ten Commandments are more important than ever to follow as a daily guide. When one asks Him for understanding, more things appear to make sense. Also the Bible becomes like a living Truth.

We saw the movie, 'The Story of Ruth' last night; and I identify with the Biblical story. It was an excellent portrayal of character and well worth watching. I immediately appreciated Naomi and Ruth, for their strength of character, and how they stood up for the TRUTH. It is true that, 'the truth sets one free.'

Will be back with some tids when I can. In the meantime, hope your spirits are uplifted and encouraged to keep on trekking in Trust in Him, for each and every moment of each passing day. When you Ask Him to carry your burdens; He does. When you feel swamped / overwhelmed, just Thank Him and cast all your cares upon Him. He encourages Prayer dialogue and wants a personal relationship with you; as He loves you unconditionally! Ask for the Holy Spirit to infill you; and you will see / and or make a gentle difference to those around you. "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

Thankful for New Blessings!

Good Afternoon, or whatever is the best greeting to you, in your part of the world!

No, I have not quit...ie writing a post etc. It is just that we have finally moved and the move has been quite the non stop feat. However, we are thankful we have a roof now over our heads and so forth.

To recap on the move. We are creating our home into a cosy little place to 'hang our hats.' We presently are renting and we have the option to buy, should the owner ever wish to sell. We have found that we quite enjoy the area and the people and we love our new abode.

Everything is as if a new canvas is being presented or painted. ie New sets of circumstances and changes galore. We are trekking forward and appreciative for each and every day. We know that Christ has sustained us through and through. 'Praise Him in ALL Things.'

Our home still looks like a battle field. The downstairs is semi reasonable and the garage is packed full to the ceiling. We took our appliances with us and when they are sold, that will provide us with more space in the garage. We will then rearrange the 'stuff' and also ultimately have a garage sale.

We have reassessed on much and realize that 'less is best' in all regards. We have discovered too, that there are a lot of wonderful people out here. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." We have met a number of dog walkers etc and in a tid shell, it would appear that there is almost an ever present spirit of 'redemption' and a genuine joy and thankfulness. We are also 'embracing' our new set of circumstances and it is true, that the 'Truth sets you free.'

Alan and I were talking about 'friends' yesterday. What are the characteristics of a 'friend?' Well, while we have been unpacking etc, we have been reflecting on that very thing. We can count on our hands the friends we have; and they are Blessings indeed! We were just recently given some help (no questions asked, no hurtful and scornful / indignant comments to rub even more salt into already open wounds etc). It was based on trust and the fact that they have had their difficulties; hence they have empathy. They also know, that we would do the same for them, if things were reversed.

I have a good friend (have not seen her since high school!) and a few weeks ago, she called up 'out of the blue.' She is coming to stay with us next week and it could be for a tidbitz while. Told her briefly of our situation and she is more than happy to chip in for the groceries for the time she is here. She sadly lost her son and her brother; so methinks she is looking for a place to just flop and seek a bit of refuge. We can do that for her. So, in between our legal scenario, I will be getting the upstairs ready for her arrival. She knows that she may have to 'rough it' and she is quite content. As she said, it is not the home, it is the people in it who matter.' It is rather neat that she and I can carry on as if it were just yesterday when we last saw each other.

I mentioned legal issues. As per my last post, that is now in the works. We are seeking Justice and again, we know that He watches, knows all, and HATES inequities. We are Prayful; knowing He has a majestic plan and eventhough we have been working on various options, we are waiting upon Him (He is our Advocate) for Provision. We know He has a purpose as per His Will; so we cast all our cares upon Him and are thankful for each and every day.

Was watching 'Hour of Power' earlier, and for those of you, who appreciate an uplifting ear of encouragement; particularly if you are experiencing 'shattered dreams', tune into www.hourofpower.org. Also Dr. Schuller was sharing that Jesus is his Esteemed Friend; and that is also where Alan and I are at. There are NO coincidences. 'He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.' We are leaving it all to Him to Direct our Paths.

Also, we have been enjoying and appreciating the monthly booklet, 'My Daily Journey with Christ' mailed to us from Pastor Charles Price, of Living Truth. The last three topics: 'The Power of Weakness,' 'No Fear in Asking,' and 'Don't Pray For a New Car' are exactly where Alan and I are at at this time. Again, NO bittid coincidences.

We are thankful for these specific world international ministries; as well as many other genuine tidbit teachings and inspiring insights from such ministries as those provided by Joyce Meyer, Rhonda Lazerte, Peter Youngren, Pastor Barber etc.

Tidbit - Make the best of everything. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you through everything; trials and tribulations, the works! Remember too, to Thank Him when He Prevails!

Bittid - Be genuinely appreciative and thankful for all your Blessings and even if your circumstances are not 'stellar.' Things do turn around for the better; if you continually confide and place your daily Trust in Him; thus to be led by the Holy Spirit!

Eventhough Alan and I have a rather full platter, we are totally thankful for a bittidz of a 'breather.' As a good friend calmly just said: 'As long as you have a place to sleep, and to brush your teeth, and to make a cup of coffee.' Her wonderful Mum, who has since passed away, always said to her - 'Be still and Know that I am God' (Psalm 46:10).

One of the plants that we transported in the move, was our 'Braveheart.' It is coming back, in wondeful purple splendour. The above picture is a photo image; and I will take a picture when there are more vivid flowerings. As we organize things, we will invigorate the garden to be a refreshing and peaceful spot. We have already seen dragonflies flying about; so this makes our little garden all the more special, methinks. There is even a small green lawn, and our Blue loves roling about in it. Currently, there are new roofs being put on in the complex; so this has been an extra interesting time. However, we will enjoy the benefits of a new roof, before too long.

Well, I had better return to unpacking. Bit by bit, and tid by tid, things are being put away, as well as being designated for a garage sale. As I mentioned, my good friend (who is a true friend), is coming next week to stay with us; so I am all the more motivated to get this place of boxes, hence trails, cleared up.

It is a long weekend here; and we are thankful for the peace and quiet. Hope you are enjoying a nice weekend as well.

Be ever thankful!

It has been a bit of a while since I last wrote a tid of a post (June 8th). So many things to do, in such little time, it would definitely appear. Alan and I have been packing practically non-stop. However, we now have a place to relocate to - as of ten days ago. We will be renting for a year or more; (perhaps an option even to buy then - however, we are not thinking about that, at this time). At any rate, we have the breathing room to step back, to re evaluate, and to recover from these last couple of roller coaster years.

To reiterate and recap, you may wish to refer to my June 3rd post of 'Looking Forward!' re my thoughts. "Alan and I have sadly observed inequities, deceit, collusion etc; so we are now in the legal process of resolving things in a fair fashion. We take comfort and solace in Knowing He IS our Refuge and Strength' and that He IS our Advocate for Truth and Justice. He HATES inequities!!!"

We are still on that winding trail, on the cliff, and we are more assured than ever, that He Directs our path and that Truth and Justice prevails. Everything is in His time, in Accordance with His Will, Purpose, and Plan. Yesterday evening, an ephifany tidbit came to me. ie. 'It is our responsibility to Rely upon Him!' Yes, He has promised to take care of His children (all of us), but we MUST have total trust and faith in Him; that He provides the help that is needed, the solutions. Alan and I are joyful and thankful that 'all things are possible with Him.' The New Testament passage - "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me", keeps pulsating within my heart and oozing enthusiastically throughout my veins.

Alan and I are, indeed, moving forward. It is a change - a major one for sure; however, we are looking forward to our new adventure and to eagerly go forth with what unfolds, day by day. We are making the best of it and our rented home will be a very cosy spot. My daughter, son-in-law, and our twin grandsons live a short distance away; so it will be all the more special! All the modern conveniences are within walking distance; how neat is that!!! Also, we know our pup, Blue, will adjust to his new surroundings, as there is a small garden.

Eventhough Alan and I have been on the go, we have appreciated reading daily, the 'Daily Journey with Christ', a free booklet that we receive monthly from Pastor Charles Price, of Living Truth. We identify with his insights; as this is exactly what we have experienced and where we are at presently. No coincidences here, folks!

A big heartfelt thank you to Pastor Charles, for sharing his solid teachings and messages of encouragement. His ministry, as well as several others I have referred to (in previous posts), are uplifting, as in a 'breath of fresh air' to us! Also, the Bible, which is the Truth, is all the more awesome and meaningful, in our everyday experiences! For those of you who wish to know more etc, I encourage you to check out these ministries.

I am glad it is Saturday morning; as I can sit here with my elixir of coffee and reflect thankfully upon our Blessings. I am also enjoying the large cup that my son made for me for Mother's Day. You can refer to my May 8th post, if you wish a bittid of background. ie. 'A cherished mug shot on Mother's Day!' You can see the above picture.

It is raining; however, I am grateful for this gentle and refreshing rain. I pulled a bittidz muscle yesterday in my back; so I am moving rather slowly at the moment. Alan and I have been doing most of the packing ourselves; as we need to be prudent with the moving costs. The movers will primarily be moving the furniture and the heavy non-breakables. ie. books, that sort of thing. It indeed, has been a journey; however, we know that He is there with us through and through!

The new owners came by yesterday (We did not need to apologize for the war zone of boxes etc. LOL!) to do further measurements. They are an older and delightful couple. They will be making major renovations and we are happy for the 'face lift' that our home will lovingly receive!

Will share a tid tale. Within the last week or so, we had a mound that 'appeared' in the carpet, in our den / family room. Of course, that room is where we have a number of packed boxes. It turns out it is a fatigued membrane; and fortunately, it is not our problem (nor the new owners), as it is occuring from the outside. (ie Strata's responsibility).

Also, the crew of pressure washers were in the complex and our outside tap (the freezer part of it, is fatigued as well). Well, when the hose was attached to it, we had quite the flood in our kitchen, part of the den and front hall. Towels were literally floating along the kitchen tiled floors! We are thankful too, that this is an external issue as well. All the units are being prepped for painting. The pressure washers had to discontinue temporarily with our place; and since then everything has been mopped up.

As it happens, the new owners are not moving in til September, as they are doing extensive renovations. So needless to write, our packing etc has been quite the uphill challenge. The risen mound has not burst fortunately. Once we empty the den of the sofas etc and all the bit boxes, the carpet will be lifted up and all will be put right.

Meanshile, the sun has been attempting to appear several times; amongst dark threatening clouds (rather picturesque). So, it is an extra perfect day to rest, methinks. Particularly, when I thought I was back in my twenties yesterday manoeuvring bittidical boxes around. LOL! Have had to do some 'admin' stuff, (which I keep putting off! LOL!) so, this will be a good day to attend to that tidbitical task. Now it is pouring with rain; and the lush greenery and surrounding colourful foliage stands out magnificently against the black skies.

Hope to be back before we move to our new abode. We have a number of matters to attend to; however a tidbit - 'Just keep on trekking. Trust and Know in Faith that He is with you, every step of the way!'

Also, a bittid or two - i.e. Romans 8;28 - "And we know that God causes all things to work for the good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." I confidently keep saying that, amongst other passages, as well as being thankful, in all circumstances. And, we do have much to be thankful for! Also, from Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
